Lately Turkish President Erdogan has been claiming to be god! According to the Bible that is something that the Antichrist will do.
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Turkish President Erdogan has also announced his plans to form of a new Islamic Union led by Turkey. Erdogan has made his desire to reestablish the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire very clear. Erdogan has also vowed that he will remove Syrian President Bashar Assad from power in Damascus. Erdogan has also vowed to reinstate Muslim Brotherhood Presidential candidate Mohamed Morsi back into power in Egypt. These are all things that the Bible tells us that the Antichrist will do.
The Antichrist will do many other things. So will Erdogan. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. Here is why, and here is why the Antichrist will destroy Damascus and then invade Israel!
First the Antichrist is called the Assyrian (Isaiah 10 and elsewhere) because he will do the same things that the Assyrian kings did! The Assyrian Kings led two separate invasions into Israel. First they invaded Syria plus northern Israel in 734 BC. Second they invaded southern Israel in 701 BC.
You would probably say that Isaiah 17 is about the future destruction of Damascus, and you would be right. But Isaiah 17 is foremost about the conquest of the country of Syria in 734 BC by you know who: The Assyrian King Tiglath-pileser! This is a model for the future destruction of Damascus.

The verses below describe the second Assyrian invasion of Israel. They also describe the future invasion of Israel by the Antichrist. Guess what? He (they) is bragging about his previous conquest of Syria!
Isaiah 10:7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. 8 For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? 9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? 10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; 11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
Assyrian King Sennacherib is speaking here. So is the future invader of Israel. He is recalling previous victories over Syria and northern Israel.

Second Magog is the Antichrist and Erdogan is Magog! Ezekiel 38:2-3 calls Magog the “chief prince” amongst his brothers. The Hebrew words mean “primary governor”. Magog’s brothers settled Turkey and were set over provinces. Most Bible prophecy teachers place them there. Magog was also set over a province in Turkey. He was the most prominent prince amongst his brothers. So the end time Magog is the “primary governor” of Turkey. I feel comfortable in calling him the Prime Minister of Turkey don’t you!?
Eze 38:1-3 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

According to Ezekiel 38 & 39 Magog leads two end time invasions into Israel. Ezekiel 38 describes a Turkish led battle joined by Iran, Libya, and Sudan. Ezekiel 39 obviously describes the battle of Armageddon. So if Magog leads the battle described in Ezekiel 39, and the Antichrist leads the battle of Armageddon then Magog is the Antichrist. Let’s not forget that these two invasions are modeled after the Assyrian invasions. The first started with an invasion into Syria followed by an invasion into northern Israel. The second Assyrian invasion was into southern Israel. What’s the point of knowing that the Antichrist is called the Assyrian if we are just going to forget? The Antichrist will invade Syria plus northern Israel then come back latter to invade southern Israel. These are the battles of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

The Antichrist is also called a “prince” and “a little horn”. Magog is called the “chief prince”. If a big horn is a King, then a little horn is a prince! A Prime Minister is a “chief prince”! Now Turkish President Erdogan was Prime Minister of Turkey from 2002 to December 2014!

Third Libya, Iran, and Sudan are all fighting in Syria today! This is a list of the nations that the primary governor of Turkey will lead in an invasion into Israel according to Ezekiel 38:5!
Ezekiel 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
So Erdogan will invade Syria, destroy Damascus, and then lead these armies in an Invasion into northern Israel. The invasion ito northern Israel will not go well. Some sort of 7 year peace plan will be put into place with Israel. Erdogan will break this treaty in the midst of its term. Then welcome to the Tribulation. Somewhere along this timeline Jesus Christ will come back for his Church. I am going with him.

Fourth Turkish President Erdogan is honoring the military might of the Turkish led Ottoman Empire in his new palace (see Daniel 11:37-38 below). The Erdogan palace is the largest palace in the world. Erdogan has dedicated his palace to the resurgence of Turkey as a world power as he proudly displays soldiers dressed in Ottoman era armor. By the way President Erdogan has publicly announced his intention to reestablish a Turkish led Islamic Empire!
Daniel 11:37-38 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

The Prophet Daniel says that the Antichrist will lead Libya and Sudan into Egypt. The Antichrist will invade Egypt by many ships (Dan 11:40). Turkey is located three hundred miles across the Mediterranean Sea from Egypt. Turkey has already began building massive naval personnel carriers. Erdogan has vowed to reinstate Muslim Brotherhood Presidential candidate Mohamed Morsi back into power in Egypt! Erdogan says that he wants to be ready to invade Egypt by 2019. This event happens during the Tribulation period!
Dan 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Erdogan is the Antichrist. He will be the ruler of the next World Empire. Jesus Christ will destroy it at his second coming. Before that Jesus Christ is coming to take his Church away to heaven. That means that Jesus is coming back very very soon!

Daniel 11:45 says that the Antichrist will “plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain”. Turkish President Erdogan is building several Mosques in Istanbul including a controversial Mosque in Taksim square. Taksim square has long been a site dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk founder of the republic of Turkey and proponent of Turkey’s western philosophy. By building a Mosque in Taksim square Erdogan is shunning Turkey’s one hundred years of democracy and is moving Turkey back towards its Ottoman Empire Islamist ways. Erdogan has also built the largest Mosque in Turkey. The Çamlıca Mosque overlooks the Bosphorus connecting the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara. Every Mosque in Istanbul could be described as being between the seas. But the Çamlıca Mosque is built on the highest point in Istanbul. The Çamlıca Mosque was inaugurated on July 1, 2016. The Çamlıca Mosque is dedicated to the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Obviously Erdogan is identifying himself as the new Turkish Sultan and rightful ruler of all of Islam.

High Time to Awake 
It’s very subtle but Sennacherib actually claims to be the “king of kings” in Isaiah 10:8. The only thing worse than claiming this is to call Jehovah a liar (II Kings 19:10). Things didn’t go well for Assyria after that.
Erdogan can recreate the path of Tiglath-Pileser by destroying Damascus and and still have honor by the East and the West. However, if he follows Sennacherib’s path and invade Israel, he will be defeated. He will lose face and probably be deposed – or suffer an unfortunate accident.
If The Antichrist is to come from Turkey, it would have to be his successor displaying more of a “kumbaya” mantra to smooth things over with a seven year deal.

Just like the Assyrians invaded Israel on two separate occasions; the first invasion into northern Israel and the second invasion into southern Israel, Erdogan will also invade Israel at least twice. Ezekiel 38 and 39 describe two separate invasions. The first invasion will happen after Turkey destroys Damascus. The second invasion is the battle of Armageddon that happens at the end of the seven year Tribulation period.

Turkey, The Pope, and The Islamic State.
I see Turkey’s Erdogan war on the Kurds as a way to drop support for the Kurdish party so he can take their votes and make his party a majority so He can change the constitution to allow the president full power and become dictator. Now as he destroy the Kurds.
I think Erdogan will destroy ISIS and call himself the Caliph and have a locust army of Muslims ready to fight for the official Islamic State.
Since their will a huge power vaccum in Syria, Turkey can quickly overrun Assad’s regime and conquer Syria and annex it to the Ottoman Empire.
All of these actions will take place North of Israel. So what countries will conspire to attack Israel from the South? Remember Turkey and Israel share the Mediterranean Sea, so The Turks can also attack the South of Israel by ships.

Max B. You are very wise. Almost nobody that I have a chance to talk to is looking at Turkey. I don‘t think that Turkey will attack Israel from the south this time but I do think that Turkey will attack Judae and Jerusalem from Egypt in the middle of the seven year long Tribulation period.

Now the Islamic State have been taking cities and closing the dams to starve the people downstream and they can also cross the river when it’s dry, so they can mount their next attack.
Revelation Chapter 16 Verse 12-14
12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
For some odd reason I believe these verses are talking about Islam, Here is my reason.
In the Quran Chapter 4 Verse 157 states:
And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah .” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
What the Quran says is that Jesus didn’t die on the cross, which means He wasn’t sacrificed for our sins, which basically contradicts the Bible, which makes the Quran a counterfeit and not the word of God and therefore the Quran is Anti-Christ. Jesus was the only one who was sinless and therefore only His Holy Sinless Blood can be sacrificed for us to be saved.
Now that we know that Islam is an Antichrist, we can assume that possibly the unclean spirits being talked about in Revelation 16 12-14 is about Islam.

Recep Erdogan really fits the anti christ to revive the ottoman turk kingdom which was destroy, this represent the healing of the fatal wound mention in revelation. the mystery babylon mention in revelation 17 fits the saudi arabia because it is the main supplier of oil in the world. Bible also predict nuclear or destruction with babylon which is today saudi arabia which is the harlot because it supplies oil not only to muslim but all.

At this point in time Erdogan is a likely candidate for the rebirth of the old Ottoman Empire and putting himself in as Caliph. The two legs of Iron that Daniel saw on Nebuchadneezers statue could be the Eastern and Western legs of the old Roman Empire. Fundamental Islam is rearing its ugly head in Europe, so Islam could be both of the legs, both East and West. While Islam grows in strength the Pope is recently shown washing and kissing the feet of Muslims and calling them brothers. In Revelation 13 John says of the second beast that it is the number of a man and that number is six hundred threescore and six. Strongs G5516 translates this as Chi-Xi-Stigma, but this comes from four root words meaning unmarried, do good (works), Father of fleeting or passing vanity. I have studied revelations since 1987 and have never seen anyone use these root words that fit the Pope. If a Pope were successful in uniting Islam and Christianity (Chislam) through tolerance and preaching that we all attain to the same goals of peace, ie. all paths up the mountain lead to the top, he could “cause” most everyone to take the mark of The Beast or Islam.

Hi Angelo. I think that Jerusalem’s new temple will be part of the seven year term peace treaty that the Antichrist makes with Israel. I think that the seven year treaty may be signed after Turkey invades northwestern Syria and then destroys Damascus. Afterward Turkey will lead an invasion into northern Israel. I think that the seven year treaty will be signed then.

This speaks volumes! Just reading this thread there was one individual that said Erdogan could not become the president. Well he is and has been seeking more and more power! This man is evil!!

It baffles me, Craig, that people (including evangelical Christians) continue to stubbornly dismiss & reject Erdogan’s real identity, especially after CNN reported today on Erdogan’s airstrikes against U.S. Syrian allies and the growing mass detentions. The report stated that he’s getting bolder after gaining “sweeping new powers”. But most of the world’s attention seems to be focused on the North Korean dictator and the alleged Russian “subterfuge” in U.S. politics. As you’ve stated earlier, things appear to to be accelerating in 2017.

Hi Brian. I shared that report on facebook. I was telling a couple of new facebook friends that Erdogan was the Antichrist and before they even listened they rejected my suggestion. Nope, to them the Antichrist had to be handsome and charming. They said that the Holy Spirit had told them that it wasn’t Erdogan. They wouldn’t even look at scripture. This is the Church today.

On 3/29/2017 in World Net Daily, it states: “Erdogan is trying to position himself as the leader of the worldwide Muslim community. The Turkish president has already earned that blessing from Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the top cleric and spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood”. Is Yusuf al-Qaradawi the False Prophet?
The article continues: “Qaradawi declared ‘Who can make war with Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogran?’ ” The Antichrist is Erdogran, and the False Prophet is al-Qaradawi of the Muslim Brotherhood. Would you agree?

Hi David. It is possible that Yusuf al-Qaradawi will become the False Prophet but my money is still on exiled Turkish Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen. Gullen has millions of followers all over the world. He is the person who Erdogan blamed for the failed Turkish coup. Gulen also has dreams of returning to Turkey as the Sultan over a revived Ottoman Empire. Yusuf al-Qaradawi said “Who can make war with Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogran?” Revelation 13:4 says the same thing. Bible prophecy is coming to pass.

Craig, I’m a little worried about Erdogan wanting to start “a fresh page” with Trump. I know that what’s been prophesied to happen will happen… But I also wonder about the possibility of Trump being or becoming born again. What I’m getting at is the disturbing possibility that the ant-christ/Satan could manipulate a world leader who may have been raised up by God to do something great or good. Any thoughts on this?

Turkey pledges support for Qatar

US President Donald Trump told Saudi Arabia that the US will support them if they stop supporting terrorist groups. Saudi Arabia then cut of oil shipment routs for the Arabian nation of Qatar because they fund terrorist groups. Qatar is the largest producer of oil in the middle east. Saudi Arabia also stopped food deliveries to it’s neighboring nation Qatar.
These actions have further polarized the Islamic nations. Turkey and Iran have stepped in to provide Qatar with food shipments.
The Bible tells us that a certain city known as Mystery Babylon will be destroyed by Iran during the end of the seven year long Tribulation period. Mystery Babylon is a city in the desert by the sea. Mystery Babylon is not the US. Mystery Babylon is most likely Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Turkish President Erdogan is reestablishing the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire with himself at its head. Iran is ready to join Erdogan’s empire. Saudi Arabia will be the odd man out of the coming Isamic Empire.
Additionally Saudi Arabia is mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 38. When Turkey leads an invasion into northern Israel, Saudi Arabia doesn’t join the invasion but asks “Have you come to rob Israel?”

Didn’t Turkey already enter a peace agreement with Israel on June 27, 2016? Are we not, therefore, already in the Tribulation?

Hi Robert. That is a very good observation. But the Israel and Turkey peace agreement didn’t match the Daniel 9:27 description. It didn’t have a seven year term and there was no provision for building a new Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Gog and Magog represent the united rebellion of the gentile nations against the God of Israel. There are three battles called Gog and Magog. Ezekiel 38 is a Turkish led invasion into Israel that happens before the Tribulation period begins. Ezekiel 39 is a Turkish led invasion into Israel that happens at the end of the Tribulation period. It is the same as the battle of Armageddon.
