Egypt is headed for a more Islamist Government

In the News

Egyptian court dissolved the Muslim Brotherhood dominated parliament one day before presidential election.

Here is the history of the elections.

It looks like the Muslim brotherhood may gain the presidency. They already hold a majority position in the Parliament. In the first round of presidential elections, the old regime candidate and the Muslim brotherhood candidate have won a place in the second round scheduled for June 16 & 17. Many Egyptians are dismayed at their choices. They supported the revolution but do not support the radical Islamist Muslim brotherhood. Significant voting fraud has been reported; namely in counting the national total. The Muslim brotherhood would impose sharia law on Egypt and make war on Israel.

Egypt is headed for a more Islamist government.

During, and after the tribulation Egypt will be led by cruel leader. He will disobey God and cause the Egyptian people to suffer greatly. Folks, we may be watching this leader coming to power right under our chins. In other words the rapture may be close.

Isa 19:4  And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
