Jesus is really coming soon!
The next step is the Turkish Army as they fight in Hamah, Syria
By Craig C. White
The Turkish Army has entered northern Syria. Jeremiah 49:23 list the two northwestern cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat. After they hear “evil reports” then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
After the destruction of Damascus I think that Turkey will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of northern Israel (Eze 38). I suspect that Jesus Christ will return to turn back the Turkish led invasion into Israel. I think that the Resurrection and Rapture will happen at that time!
In the next verse Bashan, Carmel, and Lebanon describe the Golan Heights, Northern Israel, and southern Lebanon. This seems to describe Jesus as he passes above the Turkish led invaders as they enter northern Israel.
Nahum 1:3-7 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. 7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Tell Rifaat is the key Kurdish held city in the Afrin region of northern Syria. The Turkish Army is targeting the Afrin region now. The Syrian government is preparing to attack the Turkish Army in Idlib. Turkey is threatening to attack the Syrian Army in Hamah. For Jeremiah’s prophecy to unfold we need to see the Turkish Army move towards Hamah in order to fight the Syrian Army there.

Sounds like Turkey is laying siege to Tell Rifaat and Afrin, instead of attacking either directly. I think this fulfills Jeremiah 49:23. What do you think?
“Turkey’s latest incursion into Syria has just begun, but the significance of when it will end deserves attention now. By the end of the fifth day (Jan. 24) of Ankara’s operation targeting Kurdish control of Afrin, the Turkish army and its allied local forces, along with the close air support of Turkish warplanes, had reached about 7½ kilometers (4½ miles) into Syria from six beachheads and captured at least 11 villages. Now there is a new front at Mount Barsaya north of Azaz, where heavy clashes continue.
Contrary to general expectations, the operation was not launched from the relatively flat terrain of the Azaz/Tell Rifaat/Afrin line, but from the opposite direction, crossing hilly terrain in the north and northwest. The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) first want to seize the dominating hill features and then lay a long-duration siege on the city, which has a population of 200,000. The TSK’s strategy seems to be to open multiple front lines in different areas to disperse the 8,000 to 10,000 troops of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and weaken their defense lines.”

Hi Larry. It’s nice to hear from you. You are right. It seems that the Turkish Army is pushing the Kurds towards Tell Rifaat. So that is where the final showdown will happen. The Kurds in Tell Rifaat have been standing up against the Turkish supported Free Syrian Army and Turkish Army shelling for a couple of years. The Kurds will put up a strong resistance in Tell Rifaat.
Jeremiah 49:23 first identifies Hamah. So we should expect to see the Turkish Army or at least their proxy forces fighting more intensely in Hamah. The Syrian Army controls Hamah now. The Syrian Army in Hamah is now fighting Turkish supported troops in Idlib.
Yes I think that Jeremiah 49:23-27 is unfolding.
God bless you for watching and understanding, Craig C. White
