Arpad is north of Aleppo

Arpad is north of Aleppo

That is where Turkey will invade Syria

Craig C. White

The Bible says that northwestern Syria will be attacked from the Turkish border then Syria’s capital city Damascus will be destroyed. Today Turkey is just about to enter Syria from its northwestern border! Arpad is a town in northwestern Syria that is mentioned in Jeremiah 49. Today Arpad is called Tell-Rifaat. According to Jeremiah the residents of Tell-Rifaat will hear evil reports of a coming invasion and they will be afraid. The town of Arpad is located just to the north of Syria’s biggest city Aleppo. Tell-Rifaat is exactly where Turkey plans to attack very soon!

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

Some of my research indicates that Arpad may even refer to the region between Aleppo and the Turkish border. One of my facebook friends who lives in Damascus confirmed that Arpad is now known as Tell-Rifaat. The Turkish Army has been shelling Tell-Rifaat along with Azaz just to the north for the past few months. The Kurds have taken back these towns from the Al-Qaeda rebels that are fighting against Syria President Assad and the Syrian Army. The Kurds now control much of the area north of Aleppo cutting off the arms supply route from Turkey.

According to Jeremiah chapter 49 the cities of Arpad and Hamah will hear reports of an invasion coming from the Turkish border. According to Amos 1:3-5 the residents of Damascus will flee to Jordan and then Damascus will be destroyed! These cities are hearing those reports right now!
