ISIS vs Turkey!

ISIS will be defeated. Turkey will emerge as head of the Caliphate.

By Craig C. White

ISIS is on the march. They are marching east to west across Syria. Their next stated target is Turkey. This is sure to draw Turkey into Syria! Once Turkey enters Syria they will continue south to Damascus and then into Israel!

The prophet Jeremiah tells us about a Turkish invasion into Syria and the destruction of Damascus. In the city of Hamah in northwestern Syria the people hear reports of a commotion coming from the Turkish border. The Turkish army has entered Syria!

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

You may know that Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan has desired to conquer Syria for quite some time now. Erdogan wants to rebuild the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire with himself at the head. Over the past three years Turkey and Erdogan have allowed Al-Qaeda fighters from Libya to flood into Syria through Turkey. The Libyan rebels call themselves “The Free Syrian Army”. The Free Syrian Army is led by a Libyan General but Turkish commanders are leading battalions on the ground. The Free Syrian Army is doing Turkey’s biding in Syria.

Over the past three years the Turkish Army has been amassed along Syria’s northwestern border near the city of Hamah. The Turkish army has made a few incursions into Syria but not on a large scale. Turkey wants control over Syria. So far their Libyan proxies have not been able to topple Syrian President Assad’s government.

So Al-Qaeda is supposed to conquer Syria. But the Libyans are not the only faction of Al-Qaeda in the fight. Al-Qaeda from Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Northern Iraq (ISIS) are fighting in Syria. Libya wants to take over Syria on behalf of Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood. Saudi Arabia wants to protect its own interests in a vanquished Syria. ISIS from the Nineveh Province in northern Iraq wants to take over the entire Islamic world starting with Syria then Iraq and most recently even Turkey!

So far Turkey has patiently waited for Al-Qaeda to conquer Syria. Now it seems that not all Al-Qaeda factions are willing to go along with Turkey’s plan. ISIS is challenging Turkey for control over Syria and the Islamic world!

So Jeremiah tells us about a Turkish invasion into Syria. Over the past decade Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan has urged the Turkish people that an invasion into Syria was necessary. Up until now the Turkish people have resisted his desire. Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan has now become newly elected President Erdogan. His first stated goal is to grant himself complete control over the Turkish government. President Erdogan is eagerly anticipating this fortuitous opportunity to invade Syria and cement his stature as chief over the new Islamic Caliphate. Erdogan will not stop at defeating ISIS in Syria. Erdogan and the Turkish army will march down from Hamah and also besiege Syria’s capital city of Damascus. The Damascus residents will flee to Jordan and the old city will be destroyed as prophesied by Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

After Turkey destroys Damascus Turkey will lead the forces fighting in Syria into Israel. Ezekiel chapter 38 tells us about a Turkish led invasion into Israel. This invasion is instigated by the “chief prince” (or primary governor) of Turkey.

Ezekiel 38:1-2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

In the original Hebrew language the term “chief prince” could be more literally translated as primary governor. Primary Governor is an excellent way of saying Prime Minister! So Prime Minister Erdogan will lead an invasion into Israel. Who will be with him? According to Ezekiel Turkey will lead Iran, Sudan, and Libya into Israel!

Ezekiel 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Today all of these nations are fighting in Syria! Al-Qaeda from Libya is fighting against Syrian President Assad. Hezbollah from Iran and Sudan is fighting against Al-Qaeda. Ezekiel chapter 38 also mentions Saudi Arabia. As a matter of fact Ezekiel chapter 38 lists all of the major players in Syria today except for one. Ezekiel does not mention ISIS from Mosul in northern Iraq.

By the way I think that Mosul will also be wiped out by a flood just like ancient Nineveh was in 612 BC. Then Mosul will be plundered by the Iraqi army, the Iranian army, and also the Kurds. These are the same nations that wiped out the ancient Assyrian capital city of Nineveh. The prophet Nahum foretells the destruction of ancient Nineveh as well as the destruction of modern day Mosul.

I think that after ISIS is defeated the Turkish army will march down to besiege Damascus. Turkey will then lead the remaining armies into Israel just as Ezekiel foretold.

Logistically, ISIS have to be supported by Turkey. No one can convince me the Turkish army at the border of Syria, with sophisticated equipment, have simply “missed” thousands of volunteers, supplies and heavy weaponry crossing from Turkey into Syria.
As to who is supporting ISIS financially, that is uncertain with Qatar and the Saudis being chief suspects.
In any case, I believe Turkey will eventually sell the ISIS down the river. They are only being supported to goad the US and UK into action in Syria. Turkey has already volunteered to help against ISIS provided that such a war effort would include the toppling of President Assad.

Turkey is being pulled between aligning with the West or Middle-East. Erdogan has a grudge against Assad and this is motivating him to support ISIS and destabilise Syria. Meanwhile he is risking the loss of support from NATO as he takes and expects support but is not offering firm commitment to their needs or expectations. Muslim leaders are fighting among themselves for the Caliphate and killing their own and slaughtering minority groups in the process. This is creating animosity against Islam, transforming it into a political rather than a spiritual institution, and linking the religion to violence, oppression and intolerance.

Turkey has a strong army but lacks the self control and humility to succeed in a military campaign across the Middle-East. Diplomacy and tact are replaced with ruthless application of the will of its paternal leaders. The world is becoming increasingly split between those desiring plurality and those using brute force to force conversion to a regressive ideology. The treatment of women and minority groups has been appalling in a country where a might is right attitude prevails and corruption has replaced transparent transactions. Authoritarian rulers tend to create mistrust and resentment among those they tyrannise and exploit, which does not create a stable or content community. Expect bloodshed and ongoing conflict without resolution until the art of negotiation and re-balancing priorities is learned.

Less ego and more common sense and productive vision are needed before Turkey can emerge as a world leader. Armenians still await an apology for the genocide that occurred a century ago. The art of apologising to gain reconciliation has not been achieved, and all the prayers to Allah do not repair the damage this country has done to countless people. Humility and introspection are needed before leaders can win the hearts of those they seek to follow and serve them. Violence begets violence. Time for the Muslim Brotherhood to call a truce and learn the art of political discretion and greater accountability and responsibility along with guilt for the trouble that their clashing egos and ensuing crimes against humanity are creating around the world.

Out of the whole Islamic community the Sufis appear most open to generating dissent against the grotesque butchery occurring under the supposed guise of promoting Allah round the world. Choose between Ghandi and Gaddafi as to the preferred style of leadership to unite a fractured and volatile community. One calms while the other inflames people.

    1. Well written Chris. This is how I think the bible describes the formation of the next world empire. It will be a coalition of Unions.
