Turkey is fighting Dabiq and Al-Bab. Next Hamah and Arpad
After that the destruction of Damascus
By Craig C. White
The Prophet Muhammed foretold that “the last hour will not come” until an Islamic Army “defeated the Romans” at Dabiq. In this case the US supported Free Syrian Army is viewed as “the Romans”. The Free Syrian Army is not Syrian. The FSA consists of foreign Al-Qaeda jihadists mostly from Libya.
ISIS has promoted the Islamic prophecy that victory in the northwestern Syria town of Dabiq would usher in the arrival of the Mahdi along with the end time Islamic Empire, and that ISIS would be victorious there. Well they may be in for a disappointment. The Turkish Army and tank supported Free Syrian Army is now attacking Dabiq and neither side is going to give up easily. So far ISIS has retreated well ahead of the Turkish Army’s advances in Syria but there is something more at stake in Dabiq. Whoever is victorious at Dabiq will claim supremacy over the forming Islamic Empire.
Dabiq is not mentioned at all in the Bible. Perhaps Dabiq is being confused with the Syrian town of Tell Rifaat just 12 miles away. Tell Rifaat is the modern day name for the ancient town of Arpad. The northwestern Syria city of Arpad is mentioned along with Hamah in Jeremiah 49:23. According to Jeremiah after Hamah and Arpad hear reports of an approaching invasion then Damascus is destroyed!
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Turkey is first targeting Dabiq and Al-Bab. Next on the list is Hamah and Tell Rifaat mentioned in Jeremiah 49:23. I am certain that the invaders of Hamah and Arpad will be Turkey and not ISIS. Afterward Turkey will march southward to besiege Damascus.

Craig,
So, if Turkey takes Dabiq wouldn’t that make Erdogan, in the eyes of the Muslim world the Mahdi who will usher in the Islamic empire? If not, then that would make Muhammed a false prophet.

Whoever wins will be seen as the Mahdi. The most important thing to see is that Tell-Rifaat is next on the list to attack.
