Many Christians consider the formation of a final world empire and wonder, how could that happen? Well it is as easy as 1 2 3 4. In the Bible Daniel chapter 7 lays it all out.

Daniel chapter 7 tells the story about three kingdoms or group of nations that combine to form the final man ruled World Empire. I like to call these kingdoms Unions and so do world leaders. Daniel tells us that four rulers will agree to unite under one government.

Today we can see these Unions as clear as day. It is no mystery. The first Union that Daniel describes is led by a British ruler. The European Union was first the idea of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill way back in 1946. The European Union reached its final form in the 1990’s. In the near future a British ruler will represent the European Union in the formation of the next World Empire.

When I say World Empire I don’t mean the entire world. There have already been several world empires throughout history. Generally they all covered the same geographic area. None of them covered the entire world. The territory that the next world empire will cover is the same territory that the ancient world empires covered. That is the old world; from Europe to India, and from Russia to Saudi Arabia.

So Daniel identified the European Union as the first of four kingdoms. The second kingdom that Daniel identified is an end time Russian Union. It seems to me that the old Soviet Union might have fulfilled this prophecy. But as you know it was dissolved in 1991. I think that God had his own plans. Perhaps he wanted to order events according to Daniel chapter 7; First the formation of the European Union, then the formation of the Russian Union.

I hope that you have been following world news lately. A new Russian Union was formed in late May 2014. The new Eurasian Union includes Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Ukraine was also supposed to join the new Russian Union. I am certain that this isn’t the final configuration of the new Russian Union. Russia is already threatening to conquer Ukraine. According to Daniel chapter 7 Russia will suddenly act to gather more nations on its western border.

The third Union that Daniel chapter 7 identifies is a Middle Eastern Union or Central Asian Union. Turkish President Erdogan has plans to create a new Islamic Union. He also has intentions to conquer Syria. I think that Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran may be the first four nations that belong to the new Islamic Union. Plans are also underway to create a Central Asian Union including Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India called TAPI. TAPI are the initials of these nations and also stand for Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline. This proposed pipeline is the largest natural gas pipeline in the world.

There is something weird about this new Central Asian Union. Pakistani ex-President Musharraf told the press that he was looking forward to having US President Obama as their supreme leader. Remember that a leader of this Central Asian Union will participate in the formation of the next World Empire.

So perhaps US President Obama may be slated to become the leader of this new Central Asian Union. It occurs to me that this may explain why the White-house recently exposed the CIA chief in Afghanistan. It may also explain the recent lopsided prisoner of war exchange. President Obama gave up five of the worst Guantanamo terrorists in exchange for one US deserter. Obama may be paving the way to obtain his next job. Let’s not forget that Obama also has agreed to withdraw most US troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2014.

Hey I almost forgot. This commentary is about the formation of the next World Empire. We have recognized three of the groups of nations or Unions that Daniel chapter 7 identifies. They are the European Union, the Eurasian Union (Russian Union), and a new Middle Eastern or Central Asian Union. There is one more Union left. I think that Daniel chapter 7 describes the first three Unions as they combine to form the fourth mega-Union or the next world Empire. Daniel identifies four kings that conspire together to form the next world empire. The first three kings are probably the rulers of the first three Unions.

Four rulers from at least three regions (or Unions) will agree together to unite under one government. They will create one larger group of Unions that will be the next Word Empire. It won’t cover the entire world but it will cover the old world.

If you are a Bible scholar then you probably already know that this final man ruled World Empire exists during the Great Tribulation period. During the Great Tribulation this World Empire torments the nation of Israel. When Jesus returns at his second coming he will destroy this World Empire. Stop and think about this. If this World Empire exists during the Great Tribulation then the formation of this World Empire and its four parts marks the timeline leading up to Israel’s Great Tribulation. I also expect that the Rapture of the Church will happen before the next world empire is formed. I suspect that the Middle Eastern Union will be created after Turkey conquers Syria and destroys Damascus. The Rapture may happen even before the Middle Eastern Union is formed.
