The Pope; he’s up to-ah no good!

(Say it with an Italian accent!)

This week Pope Francis is visiting Israel. Before his visit he conducted a crusade to convince church goers that it was time for Catholics and Protestants to unite. He did this on the Kenneth Copeland show earlier this year. His arguments were largely emotional disallowing scrutiny of the scripture. In reality Christians already enjoy unity by way of the Holy Spirit within them. But this isn’t the sort of unity that Pope Francis is selling. Rather this Pope is referencing unity under a new World Church government. I have no doubt that Christians of all stripes will fall to this deception. While they are holding hands and singing camp fire songs they will unwittingly be subjecting themselves to the government of a false World Religion.

The bible’s model of church government is for the local church to appoint Elders and Deacons, not for some sort of New World Church order. God also separated nations by scrambling their languages at the tower of Babel. God’s plan for nations is for their sovereignty not for a one world government. If world “unity” isn’t God’s plan then whose plan is it?

Revelation 12 describes Satan as a great red dragon. The dragons seven heads represent the seven World Empires.that have had authority on earth throughout world history. One is yet to come. Satan has been the power behind every king of each World Empire.

Rev 12:3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Satan is always working to form world governments; both political and religious. His desire is to bring the world under his subjection. He wants to be king of this world. From the beginning he wanted to be like the most High God.

Isa 14:12-14How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Along with every World Empire came a false World Religion. This will also be the case during the next World Empire. The Pope has shown that he is a willing participant in the forming of this false World Religion.

According to scripture the false World Religion forms after the next World Empire forms. Today the false World Religion seems to be in the birthing stage.

Beasts represent man led governments. In the verse below the next false World Religion is described as having two heads. I think that one head is “Christian” and the other head is Islamic. Religious leaders from both sides have been promoting this idea for a long time.

Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

So the Pope wants all of us to follow a World Religion. Of course the false World Religion promotes the next World Empire. During Pope Francis’s visit to Israel today he first met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem. Bethlehem is a Palestinian territory. By meeting with Abbas the Pope lent his stamp of approval for the formation of a Palestinian state in Israel. The Pope expressed his frustration with the Israeli-Palestinian stalemate. Like I said before, God’s plan is for nations to remain sovereign. God’s plan for Israel is that they make no treaty with the other inhabitants in the land of Israel that they should live there. It seems that Pope Francis feels that this command of God can be ignored completely.

Exodus 23:32-33 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

Before landing in Israel today the Pope visited Jordan. In his speech there he angrily called for an end to fighting in Syria. He neglected to say how that would be accomplished or which side should win. So I suppose that you could argue that Pope Francis was saying that the fighting in Syria must be stopped by any means necessary. It sounds like the Pope has also been visiting my website (www.hightimetoawake.com). You may not know it but the Turkish led invasion of Syria and the destruction of Damascus is the next great bible prophecy that we can expect to see happen.

I usually don’t write about the Pope but it seems to me that we are in a new phase of creating the new World Religion. Pope Francis has shown himself a willing participant. It may be that he is represented by one of the heads in Revelation 13:11. If so we are all very close to the resurrection and Rapture of the Church and also a time of terrible tribulation on earth.

1Th 5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

When they say peace then destruction will come. Try to remember this; when they say unity they really want to bring you under subjection.
