You are about to be introduced to the Antichrist
State of emergency could make Erdogan dictator over Turkey

In Daniel chapter 11 we are first introduced to Antiochus Epiphanes at verse 21. Antiochus Epiphanes was the ruler over one fourth of the Grecian Empire. This quadrant of the Grecian Empire was known as the Seleucid Dynasty, named for the family that ruled over it. The capital of the Seleucid Dynasty was in Antioch of Syria which is now part of Turkey. Antiochus Epiphanes is a foreshadowing of the Antichrist. The Antichrist will do many of the same things that Antiochus did. Like conquer Egypt, invade Jerusalem, and stop the temple sacrifices there.
Well guess what? We may be being introduced to the Antichrist in the same verse. Daniel 11:21 explains that Antiochus Epiphanes obtained his throne by fraudulent methods. Antiochus seized the throne while the true king was being held hostage in Rome. At that time the next heir in line for the Seleucid throne was only an infant. Antiochus proclaimed himself as co-regent and then killed the boy.
In Daniel 11:21 below, it indicates that the Antichrist will obtain the kingdom by flatteries. The word “flatteries” literally means something that is very smooth like a treacherously smooth section of a cliff. In this case the Antichrist’s kingdom will be acquired by devious maneuvering.
Dan 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
Turkish President Erdogan is already the duly elected President of Turkey but Erdogan wants to have complete authority over Turkey. Erdogan wants the Turkish Parliament to vote to change their constitution making the President the legal dictator over Turkey. My friends Erdogan may have just given himself that opportunity.
Just days after the failed coup in Turkey Erdogan has proclaimed that Turkey is now officially in a state of emergency. This gives the Turkish Parliament the ability to make laws that the Turkish judiciary cannot change. Turkish President Erdogan’s AKP political party holds a majority of seats in the Parliament. During this period of emergency the Turkish Parliament could vote to make Erdogan the legal dictator of Turkey.
That is all I have to say about that. Within the next few weeks Turkish President Erdogan could become Turkish Supreme Leader Erdogan.
The next verse in Daniel chapter 11 is also interesting. This is the verse that Islam bases its prophecy about the promised Mahdi (or supreme ruler over Islam) conquering Constantinople (or Istanbul as it is called today). In their prophecy the enemies of the Mahdi lay down their weapons and the people of the Mahdi win the battle by shouting “Praise Allah”. Of course that is NOT the proper meaning of this verse. Nevertheless Erdogan has staged a win over his adversaries in Istanbul. The Turkish rebels readily surrendered laying their rifles down in the streets. To me this all seems suspicious but to the Islamic world this is a sign that their promised Mahdi has at last appeared.
Dan 11:22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
One day after Turkish President Erdogan apparently won the day in Istanbul the highest association of Muslim Scholars from all four corners of the Muslim world sent letters to Erdogan pledging their allegiance to him as the true Islamic Mahdi. So Bible prophecy marches on. So has Islamic prophecy as far as these Turkish Scholars are concerned.
I do find it interesting that one true Bible prophecy may indeed be fulfilled while Islam falsifies the fulfillment of their predictions. Pay attention over the next few weeks. Turkish President Erdogan may become the supreme ruler over Turkey. If he does his first order may be to invade Syria. Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes an invasion into northwestern Syria coming from the Turkish border. After the residents of Hamah and Tell-Rifaat hear evil reports of a coming invasion the residents of Damascus will flee from the city and then Damascus will be destroyed.
Remember that Daniel 11:21 introduces us to the Antichrist. He will gain the kingdom by slippery methods. Turkish President Erdogan may grab complete authority over Turkey by using treacherous means.
