US Pastor Andrew Brunson is in the Bible
To the Church in Smyrna write; the devil shall cast some of you into prison.
By Craig C. White
American Pastor Andrew Brunson led a small church in Izmir, Turkey for twenty four years. After Turkey’s failed coup attempt Turkish President Erdogan arrested or jailed hundreds of thousands of suspected dissidents. US Pastor Andrew Brunson was only one of several Christians to be jailed. Brunson has been held in a Turkish prison for the past two years. Despite a prisoner exchange initiated by the US between Israel and Turkey, Pastor Brunson remains hostage in Turkey. Andrew Brunson is at the center of a war of words, ill feelings, and economic sanctions between NATO allies Turkey and the US.
Pastor Brunson served in a small Church in Izmir. Izmir is called Smyrna in Revelation chapter 2. Jesus warns that in the last days before the Rapture, some Christians in Smyrna will be thrown into prison.
Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Do I think that Revelation 2:10 describes the plight of US Pastor Andrew Brunson? Yes I do. The letters to the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 are especially pertinent to end time Christians because they include warnings about the consequences that Christians will suffer if they are not watching when Jesus returns for the Rapture. US Pastor Andrew Brunson is in the Bible. That means that Jesus will return soon!
US Pastor Andrew Brunson is at the center of an international controversy that threatens to split apart Turkey from the US and NATO. Watch Jay Sekulow as he informs us of the latest developments in the Brunson case.
Read the #1 new release in Eschatology Jesus will fight on the Golan Heights
The book of Nahum says that Jesus is coming in a fiery whirlwind to fight on the Golan Heights. This verse concludes this description “The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” I think that Jesus will return to turn back the Turkish Army as they lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into northern Israel. I think that the Rapture will happen at that time!
