The phrase High Time to Awake comes directly out of Romans chapter 13 verse 11.

Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

The apostle Paul assumes that we know the time, or that we understand the season. If we do understand the season then we must stir from our spiritual sleep and become alert. We must be prepared for our “salvation”. In this verse “salvation” is not our spiritual rebirth but our physical resurrection, rapture and gathering together to meet Jesus Christ. In this way we will escape the wrath that is to come on earth. Salvation from wrath on earth is also explained in Romans chapter 5.

Rom 5:7-10 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Verse 12 literally tells us that midnight is past and that noon is upon us. “Works of darkness” are actions freely performed by people who do not have the light of the Holy Spirit or the knowledge of God’s Word in their hearts. But instead, their hearts are literally in the shade. Sin is a work of darkness, but Jesus offers forgiveness of sin. Rebellion is a work of darkness. Rebellion is when you refuse to accept God’s offer of forgiveness. Without repentance there is no remission of sin.

To “put on the armour” is to be busy using the offensive weapons of war! The “light” is that ray of pure light that illuminated your soul and embodied your spirit when you first believed on Jesus. That is to say, the light is the Holy Spirit!

Rom 13:13-14 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Verse 13 tells us that since our redeemer will come soon we ought to live soberly. We ought not to be getting drunk or practicing sexual sin. Perhaps more difficult, we ought not to quarrel or be jealous of another believer in Jesus Christ.

The ministry of High Time to Awake corrects prophetic misconceptions. It also helps us to understand the season. Many teachers have said that Christ’s coming is eminent. But their accounts are too often generalized. The High Time to Awake website identifies very specific milestones that we can observe today. Many prophecies are just now coming into focus. We can only recognize these events as we examine scripture, and keep watch as they are happening!

The end time as prophesied in the Bible is here. When I say “end time” I mean the period just before the return of Jesus Christ to gather his Church. Some end time events are already happening. Some end time personalities are already on the world stage. Many end time events are about to happen. Many of the prophecies explained on this website will happen simultaneously and quickly. We need to be alert to recognize these events. The Church is under-prepared. Many churches do not emphasize the teaching of God’s word. Most Christians don’t know what a “Magog” is. Well he is on the world stage today. You will find many teachings here that you will scarcely find elsewhere. I want every believer to be prepared with the knowledge of his near salvation. That is, our gathering together to Jesus at the resurrection. It is high time to discern the season.
