Is Israel’s idol shepherd coming in March?

The Antichrist won’t conquer Israel with his dazzling personality. Israel won’t need to be dazzled. God will raise an idol shepherd in Israel. Which means that Israel will receive a rotten ruler. This isn’t the Antichrist. This is an Israeli ruler of the nation of Israel. Israel’s rotten ruler will dismantle its military and allow Israel’s enemies to rule the land.
Today there is a world wide movement to remove Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from office. Netanyahu stands in the way of creating a Palestinian State inside of Israel without security assurances. Many parties in the peace talks want Israel to dismantle their military, including US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Netanyahu is up for reelection on March, 17 2015. The new Israeli Prime Minister will be chosen by the president from amongst the largest political party. So Netanyahu is working to create a large coalition. Everyone else including US President Obama is working against Netanyahu. Nearly every political party in Israel is vehemently against their current Prime Minister. US President Barack Obama has even sent members of his administration to Israel in order to overthrow Netanyahu. If world powers succeed then Israel will be filled to the brim with rulers who will give away their country and dismantle their military. The bible describes these rotten Israeli rulers as idol shepherds.
Zechariah 11:16-17 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. 17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
The idol shepherd in Zechariah 11:16-17 is an Israeli ruler put in charge of the nation of Israel during the Tribulation period. He will give away his country and its security. During the Tribulation period Israel will be subject to the next world empire. There is some precedent for assigning a new ruler in Israel when under the authority of a world empire. Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar fired King Jehoiachin (aka Jeconiah or Coniah; 2Ki 24:15) and assigned Zedekiah to take over as king of Israel during the Babylonian captivity. Zedekiah did evil in God’s site (2 Kings 24:19, 20; Jer. 52:2, 3).
Lately the Palestinian peace process negotiators have been lamenting that they aren’t dealing with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. If you will remember Ehud Barak removed Israeli settlers from southern Lebanon. He is now serving as Deputy Prime Minister. The Palestinian authority is looking for an Israeli ruler who will hand them Israel’s land and sovereignty.
Several Israeli Prime Ministers have also given away land for peace. In 1995 Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin gave full control of Bethlehem and other west bank areas to the Palestinian Authority. Rabin was assassinated in November 1995.
I am also reminded of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon who orchestrated Israel’s unilateral disengagement of the Gaza strip in 2005. Sharon turned over the Gaza strip to the Palestinian authority. Ariel Sharon died on Jan. 11, 2014 after suffering a stroke and falling into a coma in 2006.
It could very well be that Ehud Barak will be the idol shepherd spoken of by Zechariah. Of course it could be another Israeli ruler. Perhaps he will be thrust into power by the Antichrist or by world powers. Whoever this Israeli leader is he will give away the sovereignty and land of Israel.
If I were you I wouldn’t wait to see if Ehud Barak regains power in Israel. This could happen after Church age believers are taken into heaven at the Rapture. That would mean that you must endure the terrible time of Satan’s influence and God’s wrath on earth called the Tribulation. The Church is saved from this terrible period. Call on the name of Jesus Christ and be saved now while there is still time!
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
High Time to Awake 
Hi, I am really enjoying reading your books and think your pretty right on with teaching prophesy. I wanted to comment on this article about the Idol Shepherd, as I was watching for the results of the elections in Israel, I just had a knowing that Netanyahu would be re-elected, as I believe he is the one God will use to fulfill the prophecy about Israel subduing her neighbors to her borders which they will push forward all the way to the borders of Egypt and Israel will attack Iran and dismantle their nuclear plants, which will fulfill the prophecy about God destroying Elams arrows. I believe it’s Elam modern day Iran. The prophecy shows Israel gaining great wealth during this time and that could be from the spoils of war combined with their discovery of natural gas. Anyway, they will be sitting pretty for the nations that will come against them in the next war, after Israel enjoys a time of victory. I believe that won’t last long, only till the next elections, then the next Prime Minister will be the IDOL Shepherd and sign the confirmation of the covenant with the anti-christ. I believe we are that close to the rising of the anti-christ. What is your take on what is next on the horizon as far as prophecy of the wars that are coming?

Hi Victoria: I think that Netanyahu might yet be ousted. He has not yet formed his coalition government. So he is not officially reelected. I think we are as close as six months until the Tribulation. If we see the following events happening soon then the Resurrection, Rapture, and Tribulation will happen soon afterward. 1) Mosul flooded and attacked by Iraq, Iran, and the Kurds (Nahum). 2) Rotten ruler comes to power over Israel (Zechariah). 3) Turkey attacks Syria and destroys Damascus (Jeremiah 49). 4) Turkey leads the forces fighting in Syria into northern Israel (Ezekiel 38).

Do you think it’s possible that some faction within the Israeli government, like a leftist group, could arrange to have Netanyahu “removed”? I know it’s on the conspiracy side of things, but very questionable “accidents” or untimely demises have been known to happen in the U.S. Government. Judge Scalia’s sudden death comes to mind.

US president Obama and the UN are already trying to remove Netanyahu. Obama wants to be the head of the UN in December. The UN also wants to unilaterally recognize Palestine as a separate nation.
