Revelation 13 Wounded
You do that boo-boo that you do so well!
Revelation 13:1-3

In interpreting Revelation 13 there is a popular idea that the Antichrist will recover from a fatal wound. Are we looking for a man who has been wounded and lived? No. We are looking for an empire that has been wounded and lives again? We are looking for a revived gentile world empire similar to the ancient Roman Empire or perhaps the Ottoman Empire. Notice in the verse below that one of the beast’s heads was wounded. Heads in this verse represent world empires. Horns represent kings. The king isn’t wounded. The empire is wounded and revives again. We are not looking for a man with a wounded head. We are looking for a revived gentile world empire!
Revelation 13:1-3 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Revelation 17:10-11 identifies a revived Ottoman Empire as the end time empire that will oppress Israel during the Tribulation period.
Rev 17:10-11 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
There were seven world empires throughout history. According to Revelation 17:10 five world empires had fallen at the time of the disciple John, and the Roman Empire was in existence, and a seventh world empire had not yet come. Revelation 17:11 tells us that the eighth world empire will come out of the seventh. The only other world empire was the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire ended in 1923. A revived Ottoman Empire will be the end time empire that will oppress Israel. Turkish President Erdogan is feverishly working to revive the Ottoman Empire. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist.
We are not looking for a wounded Antichrist. We are looking for a revived Ottoman Empire.
