In the Beginning
Jesus was God long before he was a man!

In the beginning God was not a man. Then God cared about our poor condition. That is, that we suffer death. God cared enough that he became a man to suffer death for us.
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There is no definite article in the original Greek before “beginning”. So it actually reads “in beginning”, making the word monolithic. Beginning is the time further back before time was. It is an eon before the beginning of all things. “Word” is the Greek word “logos”. It also has a Greek sentiment. Logos is the ultimate source of all things. In Greek understanding even the gods emanated from the logos. The logos was literally “facing” God, and he was God. He was the creator of all things. He gave life to all things.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus is the Word. God was a busy guy for several millennium. Then one day, two thousand years ago he entered into a human body so he could sympathize with us (Heb 2:17). Also so he could give a human life as the payment for human sin. Of course this human life held the power and value of the life of God. So Jesus life and death paid the penalty of sin for all mankind forever! We only need to accept his death as payment for our own sins.
Jesus was God long before he was a man. He displayed his love toward his creation (namely man) by becoming a man and dying to pay the penalty for our sins. Trust God.

The chief prince of Meshech and Tubal
Magog is the primary ruler of Turkey

Have I introduced you to Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal? Magog is a man. Noah had a son named Japheth who had a son named Magog who settled in Turkey. You can find the generations of Magog in Genesis 10:2 and also in 1Chronicles 1:5.
Gen 10:1-2 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
In the following passage Gog is Turkey. Magog is its ruler. In verse 2 it isn’t the land called Magog, but it is the land pertaining to Magog.
Ezekiel 38:1-3 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

Magog was a man. Magog was also a prince who ruled over a province of Turkey. As a matter of fact Magog was a pretty terrific prince. Magog was such a great prince that the Bible calls him the “chief prince” among his brothers Meshech and Tubal. Magog was the chief prince or primary governor of Turkey. Today we could call him the Prime Minister of Turkey. Unfortunately Turkey no longer has a Prime Minister. That’s because ex-Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdoğan got himself elected as President and then eliminated the position of Prime Minister altogether. So President Erdogan is the chief prince of Turkey who has gained complete authority over his nation. Turkish President Erdogan is the modern day personification of Magog. According to Ezekiel chapter 38, he will lead the nations of the Middle East into Israel.

Every nation that is listed in Ezekiel 38:5 is now fighting in Syria. After Turkey destroys Damascus they will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into northern Israel.
I think that Ezekiel tells us that Jesus Christ will return to stop them.
By this time you should know who Magog is. Magog is the primary governor of Turkey. He will lead an end time invasion into Israel. Today Turkish President Erdogan is the chief ruler of Turkey. He will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of northern Israel. Jesus will return to stop them and also to take away Christians. Turkish President Erdogan is Magog. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. It’s High Time to Awake!

We are told about an end time Turkish led invasion into Israel in Ezekiel 38. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya will join Turkey in this invasion. Most folks know that Persia is the ancient name for today’s Iran. Libya is easily identified as today’s Libya. But when it comes to identifying Ethiopia we may falter. It seems obvious at first but the English translation is somewhat misleading. The English translators chose a convenient title for their day but the nation of Ethiopia didn’t exist at the time that Ezekiel wrote his prophecy!

The name Ethiopia is only as old as about 400 AD. That name was given long after Ezekiel wrote his prophecy (Ezekiel 38:5)! The name Ethiopia comes from the Greek word “Aethiopia” referring to the people who lived south of Egypt. The original Hebrew word translated as “Ethiopia” in the English bible is the Hebrew word “Cush”. Look it up in your concordance! Cush was one of Noah’s grandsons who settled the land south of Egypt (Genesis 10, 1Chronicles 1). Sudan is the major nation today that is located directly south of Egypt. Ethiopia is southeast of Sudan. When you read “Ethiopia” in the English bible you can be certain that it is referring to the modern day nation of Sudan!
By the way all of these nations are represented in the forces fighting in Syria today! It seems likely that after the destruction of Damascus, Syria that these armies will turn south into Israel led by Turkey! It is High Time to Awake!

Apply the blood of Christ

As you will soon see, the translators of the King James Bible couldn’t tell the difference between Easter or Passover. Still they weren’t too far from the truth. As it turns out that Easter and Passover have the same application. We are saved by the application of blood.
Act 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
The word “Easter” appears in the King James bible only once. Now this word is a little misplaced. Easter is a word that the old English speaking “King James Bible” translators chose. For them Easter was a familiar holy-day. But Easter was not what the original Greek text had in mind. The original Greek word is pascha. It means “The Passover”.
Here is the definition of pascha from the Strong Greek dictionary.

Of Chaldee origin; the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it): – Easter, Passover.Passover celebrates Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. God sent a plague of death among the firstborn of the Egyptians. God told Israel to put the blood of a sacrificed lamb on the doorposts of their homes. The applied blood caused the death angel to “pass over” the homes of the Hebrews, sparing the firstborn child of each family.
According to Leviticus 23:5 Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of Nissan (March or April) and lasts seven days (Leviticus 23:6). The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on Nissan 15.
Here are the instructions for the first Passover along with its dramatic results.
Exodus 12:21-30 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. 24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. 28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
Without applying the blood of the lamb the first born among the Egyptians died. Only by applying the blood did death pass-over their homes.
According to 1 Corinthians below, Jesus Christ is our passover (pascha). When we apply his blood, death passes over us. We may die once, but we will one day be raised to everlasting life; and we will be raised in our bodies! Christ defeated the power of sin and death. Just as Jesus could not be held in the grave; death can no longer keep those who are covered by Jesus blood. So in both Easter or Passover you must apply the blood in order to live.
1Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
For all believers Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death. Because he rose we can be certain that we will rise likewise (Act 17:31).
Be certain that you have applied the blood of Jesus Christ on this Passover, or Resurrection Day, or as King James would say “Easter”.

Turkey, US, and Russia may prioritize stability in Syria
Does this mean a ceasefire or the overthrow of the Assad regime?

Stability is the word for today concerning Syria. Some people conclude that this means a ceasefire but there already is a ceasefire in northwestern Syria. Lasting stability can only come if Turkey and their proxy Al-Qaeda forces pack up and leave. Considering the fact that Turkey has recently poured military assets into Idlib province I don’t think that they intend to retreat any time soon.
Turkey has recently deployed US Hawk mid-range anti-aircraft missiles in Idlib. The US has promised to give Turkey Patriot missiles if Turkey will lay down their Russian S-400 missiles. The US has promised to support Turkey in northwestern Syria and indeed they already are. So the US is propping up military instability in northwestern Syria.
There is another means of creating stability in Syria. That is to overthrow the Assad regime. That way everybody gets what they want, that is everybody except for the Syrian people. Turkey will install Sunni Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Damascus adding another cooperative nation to Erdogan’s neo-Ottoman Empire. The US will minimize Iran’s influence over Syria and strengthen their NATO ally in the Middle East. Turkey and the US are eager to take on the overthrow of Assad. That means that Russia will be able to sit back and stop spending their military dollars in Syria. Russia wants stability in Syria above all. As long as Russia has assurances that their warm water shipping ports in Latakia are preserved then they would be willing to work with any regime that could provide stability.
Turkey has extreme leverage over Russia. Turkey controls Russia’s shipping lane through the Bosporus. Russia also recently opened the TurkStream natural gas pipeline that extends from Russia to Turkey. Russia is also relying on Turkey to buy Russian weapons including the S-400 missile system and Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets. Whether they like it or not, Russia must cater to Turkey’s interests.
The Prophet Jeremiah tells us that northwestern Syria will hear evil reports and be terrified. Then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Erdogan and Gulen in cahoots!
Erdogan is the Antichrist. Gulen is the False Prophet.

Turkish President Erdogan has a near strangle hold on power in the Turkish government. But it is about to get worse. Erdogan’s main opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, head of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), accused Erdoğan of being the top political operative of the Gülen movement. Exiled Turkish cleric Fethullah Gulen is billed as public enemy number one in Turkey. Erdogan blamed Gulen for the failed 2016 coup. Erdogan accuses Gulen of infiltrating the Turkish government with his own political operatives. After the coup Erdogan used this excuse to get rid of hundreds of thousands of government officials including from the military, the state run police, the courts, education, and the media. Turns out that Erdogan didn’t remove Gulenists at all but instead removed secular leaning leaders, those who didn’t believe in giving Erdogan supreme power over Turkey. In fact most Gulen followers were installed into key government positions after Erdogan’s AKP party gained power.
Well opposition leader Kılıçdaroğlu says that Erdogan and Gulen are in cahoots. It seems that this is common knowledge among many in Turkey. Accusations that Erdogan and Gulen have been collaborating were being made even before their split in 1999.
This is especially interesting because Fethullah Gulen is my number one suspect for fulfilling the role of the False Prophet. The False Prophet is a chief religious leader who will promote the next world empire and also promote the worship of Its leader. I have suspected that one day Gulen would return to Turkey as the head Imam of a revived Ottoman Empire. That is exactly what he promises to his followers.
Erdogan and Gulen were once allies in Turkey. It seems that they are playing an epic hoax on the Turkish people. Erdogan has the allegiance of the more radical Islamist element in Turkey. Gulen has the support of tens of millions moderate Muslims. One day Erdogan and Gulen will reconcile thus consolidating enormous political power in Turkey. Gulen will return to Turkey as the head religious leader. Gulen will direct all of Islam to worship Erdogan as the rightful leader of the promised Islamic Empire. The False Prophet will be born. The head of the Ottoman Empire will be healed!
Erdogan is the Antichrist. Gulen is the False Prophet.

Health experts are admitting that their initial projections were extreme

Hi Beloved of Jesus. I want to share a little encouraging news regarding the Corona virus. Real life experience with the virus is turning out to be much less extreme than early reports had suggested. Initially it was reported that the Corona virus had about a 3.5 percent fatality rate. Meaning that 3 1/2 out of one hundred people who contracted the virus were expected to die from it. Turns out that the real life fatality rate is proving much much lower. The actual percentage so far has been 0.22 percent world wide. That means that basically two people out of one thousand people who have contracted the disease have died. The numbers are actually even lower than that considering that that number includes people who already had severe underlying health issues. These are people who were expected to die from other causes. These severely sick people represent about half of all deaths counted in the Corona virus calculation. So the real number is closer to 0.11 percent or one in one thousand. The fatality rate has been worse in countries that don’t have good medical systems or resources. Meaning that we can expect a better than 0.11 percent fatality rate in places that are handling the virus outbreak effectively. The 0.11 percent fatality rate is equal to the fatality rate of the typical flu. By the way as more data is gathered these number are trending downward.
The UK adjusted their expected Corona deaths from 500,000 to just 20,000 using actual results. Again about half or 10,000 of these anticipated deaths are people who will likely die of other causes. Some health experts are now admitting that their initial projections were extreme.
Don’t worry too much. About 81% of people who contract the Corona virus exhibit mild symptoms. In the US only about 61 out of 100,000 people who test positively for the Corona virus are hospitalized.
Do I think that the Corona virus is prophesied in the Bible? No. I do think that the Corona virus has given a lot of people the opportunity to examine their own mortality and hopefully has turned some to seek God.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
We will all give an account of ourselves to God. Jesus is coming soon. Why not get to know him beforehand so he can greet you as a friend. The other alternative is to endure a terrible period of time on earth filled with war and famine and true pestilence. This day is coming soon!
Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
King Solomon said a prayer for the people of Israel in time of plague and disease. It turns out that Solomon included all men in his prayer. Solomon asked God to hear the prayer of any man who recognized the plague in his own heart. So praying to God about the Corona virus is most appropriate.
1Kings 8:37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;
38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

It is High Time to recognize that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist

Convincing Christians that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist is like watching a glacier melt; except it’s much slower. I told you about Erdogan nine years ago and only now am I seeing some Christians beginning to consider the possibility that Erdogan is the Antichrist. Even now they still can’t grasp it.
Erdogan is the Antichrist. Not only does he intend to revive the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire but he has threatened to conquer Jerusalem for Islam. Both of these things are foretold in the Bible. Erdogan is the “chief prince” or primary governor among the provinces of Turkey mentioned in Ezekiel 38:1-3. According to Ezekiel he will lead the Islamic nations into Israel. According to Daniel 11:40 the Antichrist will invade Egypt by “many ships”. Turkey has begun building a large naval personnel carrier. Erdogan has vowed to reinstate Muslim Brotherhood leadership back into power in Egypt. Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes an invasion into northwestern Syria at Hamah and Tell Rifaat. The Turkish Army is gathered against Hamah and Tell Rifaat right now. According to Jeremiah after Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear reports of a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. There is yet more evidence that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist.
In response to riots on the Temple Mount Turkish President Erdogan said that “Palestine’s problems began with the fall of the Ottoman Empire.” So Erdogan’s prescribed solution to the Israeli and Palestinian problem is for Turkey to once again rule over Israel. I am here to tell you that Erdogan will get his wish.
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said, “The Jews should appreciate how good they had it under the Ottoman Empire”. He said that life was better for the Jews before the Jewish state. So the idea of Turkish rule over Israel is now being openly promoted.
Turkish President Erdogan wants to reestablish the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire. This is the head that was wounded and healed in Revelation 13:3. The head represents the last world empire that was defeated but then revived during the end time.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
The revived Ottoman Empire is the end time world empire that will sorely oppress Israel. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist.

Netanyahu at risk of losing position

After Israel’s third round of elections, Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin has determined that the election was too close to determine a clear winner. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s rival Benny Gantz has been given the first chance to form a government. Gantz won this opportunity by gaining the recommendation from the Joint List of the four largest Arab-majority parties in Israel. If Gantz hopes to successfully form a new government, he will need to include these Islamic parties.
Benny Gantz said that he is willing to form a unity government with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That means that Netanyahu and Gantz would take turns being Prime Minister over Israel. But before you get too excited, some of Gantz’ party members have already said that this deal is off the table.
I find the possibility of a dual Prime Minister position interesting in light of the Prophet Zechariah. I think that Zechariah may indicate two Israeli leaders, one good and one rotten. The rotten leader will not care for his people while the good leader pleads for their well being.
Some reports have said that Benny Gantz is willing to allow Netanyahu to be sole leader. But the majority sentiment of Gantz’s Blue and White party seems to be against Netanyahu. Everything is up in the air. Netayahu and Gantz have set a Monday March 23rd deadline to form a coalition government. With all the political turmoil and mixed reports I would be surprised if they are successful. The other alternative is for Benny Gantz to form a new government including the Joint Arab List.
Zechariah says that there is an Israeli leader coming who will not look out for the welfare of his land or his people.

Who is “Magog” the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal? The word translated as “chief’ in Ezekiel 38:2 is the Hebrew word “rosh”. Is Magog really Russia as so many Bible teachers say? They say that the Hebrew word “rosh” means Russia. Rosh might sound a bit like Russia but the Hebrew word rosh means “first or primary”. Nowhere else in Bible prophecy is a verse interpreted by identifying an English homophone; or a word that sounds the same as another word. The Hebrew word “rosh” doesn’t identify a nation at all.

I am familiar with the view that Magog represents Russia. I like Hal Lindsey but he is wrong on this one. Ezekiel chapter 38 is about a Turkish led invasion into Israel. Turkey will lead Iran. Sudan, and Libya into Israel. These nations are already gathered in the Golan Heights of Syria today! The battle called Gog and Magog as described in Ezekiel chapter 38 will happen soon. Ezekiel chapter 39 describes another Turkish led battle into Israel. Ezekiel chapter 39 describes the battle of Armageddon.

Syria is not mentioned at all in Ezekiel chapter 38. Even though the name “Ethiopia” is listed in Ezekiel 38:5; Ethiopia does not really represent modern day Ethiopia. The Hebrew word that is translated as Ethiopia in Ezekiel 38:5 is the name “Cush”. Cush settled in the land south of Egypt which is Sudan today.
Meshech and Tubal are Magog’s brothers. they can be found in the genealogies. Magog, Meshech, and Tubal were the first princes that were set over provinces in the land that we call Turkey today. Magog, Meshech, and Tubal were the names of provinces in the land that we call turkey today. Look at any Bible map. Magog the “chief prince” of Meshech and Tubal is the “primary governor” of Turkey. Ezekiel chapter 38 tells us that a leader of Turkey will lead Iran, Libya, and Sudan into Israel. Read my commentary titled “Magog Made Easy!”
Military forces from Iran, Libya, and Sudan are fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria today! Turkish President Erdogan has declared to the Islamic world that the Golan Heights must be taken away from Israel. The Turkish Army has already entered Syria. Soon the Turkish Army will enter Syria in force. They will first fight against Hamah and Tell Rifaat as foretold in Jeremiah 49:23. Then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.
After the destruction of Damascus then Turkish President Erdogan will lead the forces that are now fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel.
