Turkish Parliament passes Presidential powers bill

Sultan rising

By Craig C. White

On Friday January 20, 2017 the Turkish Parliament passed a bill that would give Turkish President Erdogan supreme authority over the Turkish government. The Parliament floor broke out in fistfights in protest over the drastic bill. The Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire lasted for over 600 years from 1299 to 1922. Almost one hundred years after its demise Turkey will once again be governed by a Sultanate. The bill will be finalized in a couple of months in a national referendum.

Ezekiel chapter 38 tells us that an end time ruler will lead an invasion into Israel. The invader of Israel is identified as the ‘chief Prince” among the provinces of Meshech and Tubal. Most Bible scholars locate these provinces in today’s Turkey.

Ezekiel 38:1-2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

If Meshech and Tubal are provinces in Turkey then the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal is the primary governor of Turkey. In Ezekiel chapter 39 the primary governor of Turkey leads the battle of Armageddon. If the Antichrist leads the battle of Armageddon then the primary governor of Turkey is the Antichrist. We should all be alarmed by the actions and intentions of Turkish President Erdogan.

  1. Craig,

It was also telling that Erdogan went on a tour of Africa shortly after parliament passed the strong presidential powers bill. There is also an alarming amount of Muslim clerics declaring that he is the leader of the future caliphate. What are you thinking the new administration’s policies will be concerning Turkey?
