Turkish President Erdogan to have complete power!

Turkish President Erdogan to have complete power!

President, Sultan, Mahdi, Antichrist

By Craig C. White

The Turkish Parliament has cleared the way for a Spring 2017 national referendum that will give Turkish President Erdogan complete authority over the Turkish government. The referendum could extend Erdogan’s time in office until 2029. It would also eliminate the position of Prime Minister giving Erdogan total executive authority. The referendum would also allow Erdogan to stack the Turkish Parliament giving his AKP Party an overriding majority.

The Presidential term in Turkey is five years. If the referendum passes then the term would remain at five years. Erdogan would assume the powers of the executive presidency immediately after the referendum, but the electoral clock would reset in 2019 and he would then be allowed to run for two more five-year terms.

Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. He is the “chief prince” or primary governor of Turkey described in Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39. According to Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 a Turkish ruler will lead two end time invasions into Israel. Ezekiel 38 describes Turkey as it leads Iran, Libya, and Sudan into Israel. This invasion will fail. All of these nations are fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria now. They are already shelling Israel. I expect the Turkish Army to enter Syria in force soon and then destroy Damascus. Then Turkey will lead the forces that are already fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel.

  1. The prophecy of the Bible is fulfilled, where it says “the one who opposes and exalts himself above all,” he elevates himself so that he will soon “impersonate God.” This time is near.

  2. I sure hope 2017 is the year of Jesus’ second coming. Everything seems to be lining up perfectly. Is the abomination of desolation at the Western Wall or somewhere else? and do you see the day of the second coming to be on a feast day of the old or new testament, such as Passover, Easter, Pentacost, First Fruits, Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Tabernacles, etc….or just any ordinary day of the year?

    1. Hi Steve. 2017 might be the year that Jesus Christ returns for his Church but his second coming won’t happen until seven years latter. Jesus’ second coming happens at the end of the seven year long tribulation period. I don’t know if the Rapture will happen this year. I don’t know which day that the Rapture will happen.

In 170 BC the abomination of desolation was when Antiochus Epiphanies took over the temple in Jerusalem and made sacrifices to other gods. There will be another temple built in Jerusalem.

    1. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The article that I attached is trying to say that Erdogan could conceivably be in office for at least another seven years. There is no specific seven year term established for Turkish President Erdogan. Erdogan was elected as President in August 2014. He actually took office in December 2014. So he has been President for just over two years.

The Presidential term in Turkey is five years. If the referendum passes then the term would remain at five years. Erdogan would assume the powers of the executive presidency immediately after the referendum, but the electoral clock would reset in 2019 and he would then be allowed to run for two more five-year terms. So Erdogan would basically be allowed to run for three five year terms.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel ties the seven year term to a covenant, not to a Presidential term. That being said Turkish President Erdogan certainly has plenty of time to fulfill Bible prophecy.

  3. Craig,

I should be learning from our new president that posting thoughts off the top of your head can have consequences. My tongue was in my cheek. However that is how bad exegesis gets a foothold. I think that when we actually get to the final 7 yr. countdown, the AC won’t be depending upon a democratic vote to stay in power.

    Sorry about that,

    David
