Trump hopeful on Israeli – Palestinian peace deal
Trump is not the Antichrist!
By Craig C. White
Yep Trump figures that an Israeli – Palestinian peace plan will be the toughest deal that he will ever make. But don’t jump to conclusions. Trump isn’t the Antichrist. He’s just a US President doing his job.
US President Donald Trump may play a role in the Israeli peace process but we can all be certain that Donald Trump is not the Antichrist. That’s because Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. Erdogan is the “chief prince” or primary governor of Turkey (Eze 38:1-3). He will destroy Damascus (Jer 49: 23-27) and then lead the forces that are fighting in Syria into northern Israel (Eze 38). I think that this will happen very soon. Erdogan will also invade Egypt during the first half of the seven year long Tribulation period (Dan 11:42). All of these things are the actions of the Antichrist. Erdogan has already announced his plans to do all of these things!
There isn’t a peace deal in Israel yet. Many past US Presidents have tried and all have failed. I suspect that a few cataclysmic events must happen before all sides see the need to finalize an Israeli peace deal. According to Ezekiel chapter 38 Turkey will lead an invasion into northern Israel. God will fight against them with torrential rain and disease and infighting. So this Turkish led invasion will fail. This could facilitate the necessity of an international security agreement with Israel. The Rapture could happen soon. Perhaps Jesus will take away Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Zechariah says that God will raise up a wicked Israeli ruler who will give away his land and its security. A lot of Bible prophecy events are about to happen. So stay tuned.

Craig,
I recently had a conversation with someone about Ezekiel 38 and 39. He echoed the same idea I have heard from others that 39 is a retelling or reemphasis of 38, when God is dealing with Gog. I pointed out to him that in 38, Gog is turned back, and in 39 he is ultimately defeated. Do you think the peace treaty with the antichrist will be before the first invasion in 38, or after?

Hi David. That is a very good insight. I am certain that Ezekiel chapter38 describes a separate Turkish led invasion into Israel than does Ezekiel chapter 39. The Ezekiel 38 invasion is forming now in Syria. Every nation that Ezekiel 38:5 lists is already fighting in Syria. After Turkey destroys Damascus then Turkey will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into northern Israel. So the Ezekiel chapter 38 invasion will happen soon. Perhaps even this year. I think that the seven year peace treaty will be signed after this Turkish led invasion into northern Israel.
Ezekiel chapter 39 describes the battle of Armageddon that will happen at the end of the Tribulation period.
