Turkish Army gathered near Tell Rifaat (Arpad, Jer 49:23)

Following is a quote from an article on Sputnik News: Syrian Kurds Say Turkish Troops Preparing for Offensive on Town of Afrin.
“The Turkish army gathered in large numbers in these areas, preparing to attack Afrin, Tell Rifaat and Shaikh Isa, which have been under control of the Kurds since last year,” the Kurdish representative said.
Jeremiah 49:23 says that Hamah and Arpad will hear reports of a coming invasion and be terrified. Afterwards the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed!
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Today Arpad is called Tell Rifaat. The Turkish Army has gathered against the Kurdish held region of northwestern Syria near Tell Rifaat.

It’s also sad that we’re hearing this first from an ‘enemy’ Russian news source instead of a mainstream/lamestream U.S. source. It’s another reason to be wary of most of the mainstream liberal/globalist media.

Turkey is denying an invasion, but they are saying that they are setting up a buffer zone about 60 mi. by 20 mi. into Syria. One report says that the U.S. has reconsidered its arms deliveries and has made an informal promise to retrieve some of the shipments from the Kurds. Another report said that 600 troops from Libya have entered through Turkey to join the operation. Russia is saying they will supply more arms to the Assad regime. Things are definitely heating up. 100 years ago in Turkish history may be significant to Erdogan.

Hi David. That’s very interesting info. 600 is a lot of Libyan soldiers. I wish that more Christians were aware of the pending Turkish led invasion on Hamah and Tell Rifaat and the nearing destruction of Damascus.

Syrian Kurdish officials have expressed worries that the Turkish army will attack either Afrin or Til Rifaat in northern Syria.
“The people are afraid of a huge attack from Turkey and the Syrian Islamists on Afrin and the Shahba region with support from Russia, the Syrian regime and Iran,” Dr Kamal Sido, a consultant for ‘the Society for Threatened Peoples’ (STP), told ARA News.

Erdogan has ordered 1500 -2000 FSA to be at the ready to go in and police the buffer zone that will be created in Northern Syria. It is still hard to understand Russia’s involvement with Turkey. They have launched cruise missiles into Kurdish held Hama, while vowing to protect the Assad regime. This seems to be exactly what you have said in the past about Erdogan being committed to changing the government structure in Syria. Again in a recent speech, Erdogan vowed to remove any regional threat to one Turkey, one flag, and one head of state (antichrist).

Erdogan’s official state propaganda newspaper Yeni Safak has now indicated that the northern invasion of Syria is “Operation Afrin” an extension of “operation Euphrates.” the end goal as stated in the Erdogan media source is Tell Rifaat. They also say that FSA’s role is not clear at the moment. This will escalate into Aleppo, and advance to Damascus. As you have said in your commentaries, the next stop following Damascus will be an invasion of Israel. We must be within days, months, or perhaps one year of Jeremiah 49. I said that when Operation Euphrates stared, it would extend to include a full on invasion of Syria. Just wondering, what if Turkey was to oppose Russia? Would Russia really want a war with Turkey? The U.S. will take the path of least resistance, because they refuse to listen to the people who truly know the historical and prophetic meanings of the Middle East Islamic Caliphate implications.
