Afrin and Tell Rifaat is next on Erdogan’s agenda

Afrin and Tell Rifaat is next on Erdogan’s agenda

Jeremiah 49:23

By Craig C. White

Turkish President Erdogan said that the Turkish Army’s mission in Idlib is nearly complete. The Turkish Army entered the northwestern Syria city of Idlib only a few weeks ago and have gained military positions there without a fight. That’s because Idlib is controlled by Sunni Muslim Al-Qaeda forces that are sympathetic to Turkish goals.

Erdogan said that Turkey’s next mission in Syria is the siege of the Kurdish controlled region of Afrin with a concentration on Tell Rifaat. That is certain to be a fierce battle.

Tell Rifaat is mentioned in Jeremiah 49:23 as Arpad. According to Jeremiah, after Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear reports about a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

Idlib is located only a few miles north of Hamah. So expect Turkey to attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat soon. Then expect Turkey to march southward to besiege Damascus.

After Turkey along with its Al-Qaeda allies destroy Damascus then expect Turkey to lead the forces that are fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel. I think that Jesus will return to stop them, and he will also collect his Church at that time. We are getting close to seeing Jesus. I hope that you are being serious about understanding Bible prophecy.

  1. Craig,
In correlation to your commentary, yesterday the US said that “their is no future for Assad and his family in Syria”, public opinion is mounting against inhumane treatment of children in Damascus, and the EU said “the Syrian regime is guilty of using chemical weapons.” Also, there are photos being posted daily in Turkey and other media outlets of starving, injured, and dead children in Syria and Africa. It is as if Erdogan is being handed an open invitation to go deeper into Syria, Africa, and Iraq. Do you think that the nations being disquieted might also mean that they have nothing to say about the apparent, deceiving motives of Turkey? Erdogan is operating under the guise of bringing stability and peace. Even an assault on Israel would be welcomed by misinformed masses of people who have been convinced that Israelis are occupiers.
