Turkey and Russia agree about Syria
Turkey will attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat then Damascus then Israel
By Craig C. White
Not too long ago all of my Bible prophecy buddies were saying that if Turkey entered Syria they would start World War III, dragging NATO and the US into war with Russia. I told them that the Bible didn’t describe that scenario. The Prophet Jeremiah predicts that Turkey will attack the northwestern Syria cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat, then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. I said that Turkey and Russia would make a deal and Turkey would be able to make war in Syria unabated by Russia. Now it seems that Turkey and Russia are on the same side in Syria. Russia and Iran have just given Turkey permission to place 25,000 troops in Idlib, Syria. That’s a lot. Idlib is located just a few miles from Hamah. Turkish supported Al-Qaeda groups headquartered in Idlib have been fighting against the Syrian Army in and around Hamah for years.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
In the previous verse Arpad is the modern day city of Tell Rifaat. The Turkish Army is already amassed in Azaz ready to attack Tell Rifaat. Now the Turkish Army is heading for Idlib near Hamah. One week ago Turkey said that they were going to Idlib in order to police Al-Qaeda forces there, but now they have signed cease fire agreements with Al-Qaeda. Turkey is now determined to fight against the Kurds in Hamah. That may be a surprise to some of my Bible prophecy buddies but it is no surprise to me. I told you about this six years ago. Jeremiah told you about this 2,500 years ago. It is High Time to Awake!
Craig,
I remember a few years ago, we had discussed Russia’s presence in Syria, and a motive behind their alliance with Assad. A warm water port, wanting a say in how Syria will be carved up, or a trade off for other resources or territory. One thing is for certain, Russia does not care about Assad, the world opinion is now against Assad, and Russia only wants what they can get out of the situation. Yesterday, I read that there is a plan to evacuate Assad and 45 members of his family to Iran. Also, I think the U.S. was waiting to see what the outcome would be of the talks between Turkey, Russia, and Iran. My thought is, they will let Turkey continue towards Damascus with its Olive Branch theme, Russia will stay back, the U.S. will wait until it is too late, and Iran will pile on when Turkey heads for the Golan Heights.

Sounds just about right.
Notice that there is no mention of World War III or nukes. Too many Christians are running around with catastrophic theories. Gotta read your Bible folks.

We should get all of our foreign policy analysts in a room together and sing, “The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the Book for me, my policies will only stand on the B-I-B-L-E.” I guess that is very wishful thinking.
