Easy as 1, 2, Tribulation!

Damascus, Golan Heights, Peace treaty

By Craig C. White

Three events stand between us and the beginning of the Tribulation period.

1) First Turkey will invade Syria near Hamah and Tell-Rifaat (or Arpad as described in Jeremiah 49:23-17). Then the Turkish army will march southward to destroy Damascus.

2) Second Turkey will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel. This invasion will not go well. God will fight against them with a tremendous earthquake, torrential rain, disease, and infighting. This Turkish led invasion into Israel is known as the battle of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel chapter 38. Gog is Turkey Magog is its ruler.

3) Third an international peace treaty will be made concerning Turkey and Israel. It will have a seven year term and include provision for building a new Jewish temple in Jerusalem (Dan 9:27). This treaty officially begins the Tribulation period. It is a time of suffering for Israel. The Tribulation period is also a time of great wars and terrible natural disasters world wide.

I think that Jesus Christ will return to repel the Turkish led invaders when they enter the Golan Heights of Israel. I think that Jesus will also gather Church age believers at this time. Jesus Christ will return to rescue his Church from the coming chaos of the Tribulation period. So Christians will not be around to witness the signing of the seven year term peace treaty that will be made concerning Israel.

Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. He will destroy Damascus and then invade the Golan Heights. Afterwards I think that a peace deal will be made beginning the seven year Tribulation period.

  1. Craig,

Right before Jesus was born we know that certain individuals had visits from angels to announce His birth. Zachariah, Mary, and Joseph all had visits from angels, and the wise men discerned the signs and prophecies. Another interesting fact is that the deplorable bad guy of the day Herod was in the know and tried to kill Jesus. There was also a visit from the heavenly host to announce the event.

With only a few events left to be fulfilled before Jesus returns, do you think we might expect to see similar angelic events, and an awakening of signs with prophetic confirmation of people in darkness seeing a great light? Also, the bad guy of our day knows time is short and is trying to kill all the babies and Christians again. I think you might be one of the wise guys, I mean men.

    1. Thanks for the vote of confidence David. I haven’t been visited by angels. I just read my Bible. I’ve been trying to tell folks about Erdogan for the past five years. The way things are going the Christians might do me in.

    2. David. I think that the Bible tells us that the Church had better be on its toes or there will be consequences when Jesus returns at the Resurrection and Rapture. I wouldn’t expect any miraculous awakening except on my website. These warnings were given to the Churches in Revelation.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

  2. Craig,

I have a lot of Armenian friends here in the central valley of California. Some are eastern orthodox catholics, and some protestants. When I talk with them about Turkey and Erdogan, they don’t seem to raise their eyebrows at all. They know exactly who he is. I am giving a copy of “Turkey Invades Israel” to one of them.

  3. Hi, Craig, I was watching a 10-min video 46 min. ago, my time PST at 9 p.m. by Steven ben-Nun of Israeli News Live entitled, “Massive Turkish Military Convoy Crosses into Syria” where he describes the convoy crosses the Syrian border headed for Aleppo. He didn’t know what to make of it, so I will give you the link to see what your thoughts might be. Do you think this could be Turkey invading Syria now to destroy Damascus? Let me know back what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcOhtWJJN0M&t=7s

    1. Thanks Nancy. Yes, I think that Turkey will lead the forces that are fighting in Syria into Israel. I think that Turkey will first attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat and then destroy Damascus like Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes. I will watch the video.

    2. Turkey continues to deploy troops to Idlib, northwestern Syria which began October 12, 2017.

According to Jeremiah 49:23-27 the northwestern Syria cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat will hear evil reports about a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. The Turkish Army is amassing near both of these cities now. Turkish President Erdogan wants to chase the Kurdish forces out of Hamah and Tell Rifaat.

  4. Thanks, Craig. Since Turkey wants to chase the Kurds out of Tell Rifaat and Hamah, what will cause him to go to Damascus to destroy it as there aren’t any Kurds that far south, are there? So he’s really not after the Kurds there then. Wouldnt Russia and Iran come to Assad’s aid to defend Damascus as there are Iranian and Russian bases near there?

    1. Nancy, Turkish President Erdogan announced that the sole reason why the Turkish Army has entered Syria is to remove Syria President Assad from power in Damascus. As far as Iran and Russia go, Iran is in league with Turkey. I think that Iran will choose Erdogan over Assad. Turkish President Erdogan offers Iran a real hope of creating the promised Islamic Empire. Iran and Turkey have been getting along together very well for the past couple of years. Russia might object to Turkish aggression in Syria but Russia has also been making BIG deals with Turkey. As long as Russia is assured that their interests in Syria will be protected then they might not object much at all. Russia wants access to the warm water port at Latakia, Syria.

  5. WOW! Things are further along than I thought with Erdogan getting his way in Syria against Assad and getting Iran to have the same goals as he does! I read the 6-day old article in the Washington Examiner to convince Russia and the US to leave Syria. I wondered when Russia would leave, but didn’t hear what the US would do for sure. Do u think that Trump and Putin both will leave soon? Thanks Craig for your valuable input! You have nailed it Scripturally!
