You could be left behind!
Jesus warns the Church in Revelation
By Craig C. White
The Bible tells us that Christians had better be on their toes or there will be consequences when Jesus returns at the Resurrection and Rapture. I wouldn’t expect any miraculous awakening before his return except on my website http://www.hightimetoawake.com.
In the letters to the seven Churches in Revelation Jesus warns us to be watching and hot when he comes at the Rapture. It seems to me that he is implying that lukewarm Christians will be forced to endure the Tribulation on earth.
These warnings were given to the Churches in Revelation.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
As far as Christians being left behind goes, these warnings were written to the Church. They mean something. Jesus tells us to be ready or there will be bad consequences. Trouble comes to Jerusalem like a thief in the night. That means that Jerusalem will suffer great tribulation suddenly and unexpectedly. That is what Jesus promises unprepared Christians in Rev 3:3.
By the way, I think that the Resurrection and Rapture will happen within the next couple of years. Jesus could come within the next couple of months.
