Bible prophecy is REALLY lining up in Syria
Destruction of Damascus

The prophet Jeremiah predicted the destruction of Damascus. One hundred years before Jeremiah gave his prophecy the Assyrian King Tiglath-Pileser conquered Syria and invaded northern Israel. This is a model for the future destruction of Damascus and following Turkish led invasion into Israel. Back in 734 BC Israel was having trouble with Syria so they asked Assyria for help. After Assyria conquered Syria they attacked northern Israel. All of this in in your Bible. Today Israel is once again having trouble with Syria. The Syrian Army is blasting the Syria-Israel border town of Daraa. This is making Israel very uneasy. On June 29th, 2018 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu raced to Washington DC for an emergency meeting with US President Donald Trump concerning Syria. The US was supporting Al-Qaeda rebels against Syrian President Assad but lately have withdrawn their support, especially in Daraa. So the US is getting out of the Syrian war. The US does however have a NATO ally on the scene in Syria that is just itching to attack Damascus and to remove Syrian President Assad from office. That alleged ally is Turkey. Turkey has condemned the Syrian attack on Daraa. Perhaps this time Israel will rely on Turkey to help them fight against Syria. It is 734 BC all over again!
Just so that you know; the Syrian Army is also fighting US backed Al-Qaeda rebels in the northwestern Syria town of Hamah. That is significant because the Bible mentions Hamah in conjunction with the destruction of Damascus.
The Prophet Jeremiah says that when Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Tell Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23 below.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
The US has stopped supporting the Anti Assad Al-Qaeda rebels elsewhere in Syria. Al-Qaeda is losing everywhere in Syria. The US still wants to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Damascus. The Turkish Army is amassed just outside of Hamah and Tell Rifaat right now. More Turkish troops have entered northwestern Syria this week. Perhaps the US will look to their NATO ally Turkey to attack Hamah, Tell Rifaat, and Damascus soon.
Israel is getting nervous. Turkey is getting itchy. Turkish President Erdogan was just reelected with sweeping new powers. In his acceptance speech Erdogan said that the Turkish Army will march deeper into Syria. It’s nice to know what is foremost on his mind. The US is inclined to leave Syria’s fate in regional hands. All of the puzzle pieces are in place for the near time destruction of Damascus as described in Jeremiah 49:23-27.
I have been telling people about this for seven years from the scripture but nobody is listening. The Church is lulled asleep by fables. Bible prophecy is really about to happen. Israel wants to respond to the war on its border but they need help. Expect Turkey to move aggressively in Syria soon.
