Syria says attack on Idlib inevitable
That means a Turkish response in Hamah
By Craig C. White
The Syrian Army is in the Hamah province in northwestern Syria. Syrian President Assad says that no matter what deal that Russia makes with Turkey that the Syrian Army will attack the neighboring Idlib province. As a matter of fact the Syrian Army has already taken control over a few towns in western Idlib and has begun shelling a few others. Idlib is controlled by Al-Qaeda and the Turkish Army.
Syrian President Assad vowed to remove Al-Qaeda rebels and the Turkish Army from Idlib beginning in September.Syria says they will expel Turkey. Syria’s envoy to the United Nations on Tuesday railed against Turkey’s growing influence in the north, calling it an “occupation” and vowing to “expel” its troops. Syrian Ambassador Bashar Ja’afari condemned the presence of the Turkish troops during the 10th round of talks hosted by Russia in Sochi.
Turkey has made it clear to Damascus that they would not accept an attack on Islamist rebel groups in Idlib, where Turkey has established 12 military observation posts. Besides the 100,000 Al-Qaeda rebels that Turkey supports in the Idlib province, Turkey is also in league with some 25,000 Al-Qaeda Free Syrian Army troops in Idlib. There are already about 15,000 Turkish troops in Idlib, plus 50,000 more Turkish troops in nearby Afrin, Azaz, and on the Turkish/Syrian border along with many more Free Syrian Army troops. Turkish President Erdogan said that Idlib is a red line. If the Syrian Army attacks Idlib then Turkey will attack the Syrian Army in Hamah.
I wish that the Christian Church could see what was happening here. The Prophet Jeremiah says that when Hamah hears evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
When the Syrian Army attacks Idlib then Turkey will attack the Syrian Army in Hamah. The Turkish Army will attack Hamah and then march southward to destroy Damascus! The Turkish attack on Hamah is the first step in the destruction of Damascus. If you don’t recognize this then you don’t understand Bible prophecy.
