Idlib deal is about to collapse

Idlib deal is about to collapse

By Craig C. White

Every Christian should be watching the battle for Idlib in northwestern Syria. The Syrian Army is in Hamah and are fighting against Al-Qaeda rebel groups in Idlib. The Prophet Jeremiah says that when Hamah hears evil reports that they will be terrified. Then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

The Turkish and Russian brokered Idlib demilitarization deal has benefited the various Al-Qaeda rebel factions in Idlib. Over the past few weeks these Al-Qaeda groups have formed a single unified military body, which is called the National Front for Liberation under Turkish leadership.

Fighting has increased despite the formation of demilitarized zones between Hamah and Idlib provinces. The Syrian Army is on the verge of a major assault on Idlib. So far Turkey has claimed that everything is going well in Idlib but both the Syrian regime and Al-Qaeda say that the Idlib deal is about to collapse. Al-Qaeda is now looking to Turkey for additional military support. High Alert! Turkey has just established a military zone on the Turkey and Idlib border. That could only mean that Turkey is preparing a major assault on northwestern Syria. That would be enough to terrify me.
