Rabbi Yehudah Glick and the new temple
The courtyard will be given to the nations
By Craig C. White
Temple activist Rabbi Yehudah Glick has been appointed to the Israeli parliament known as the Knesset. Rabbi Glick is a leading figure in the establishing of a new Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Glick wants all religions to worship together on the Temple Mount. Some in Israel say that this is Bible prophecy fulfilled. They may be right but not in the way that they think. The Bible says that there will be a Jewish temple in Jerusalem during the coming Tribulation period. Animal sacrifice will resume for a time but then the Antichrist will invade Jerusalem and end the sacrifices and defile the Temple. This begins a three and one half year period of terrible suffering in Jerusalem and Judea called Jerusalem’s great tribulation in Matthew 24:21.
The Prophet Daniel says that the Antichrist will make a seven year term treaty with Israel regarding temple sacrifice. In the middle of the seven years the Antichrist will stop the sacrifices.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The construction of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is a sign of impending doom for Israel. Rabbi Glick and his associates claim that a new temple will usher in an era of peace and prosperity for Israel. They reference Isaiah chapter 9 to make their claims of coming peace. This is what the verse says in The Israel Bible™.
“That the government may be increased, and of peace there be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts doth perform this.” Isaiah 9:6 (The Israel Bible™)
Unfortunately Rabbi Glick and the Jews have rejected the true meaning of this verse. They have edited Isaiah to serve their own desires. Isaiah identifies the birth of a divine Prince who will rule in Jerusalem forever. This ruler is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will return after the seven year Tribulation period in order to save Israel from Rabbi Glick’s folly. Here is Isaiah 9:6-7 from the King James Bible.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Like I said before the Antichrist will make a seven year agreement with Israel regarding temple sacrifice. So who is the Antichrist? Since 2009 Rabbi Glick has been working with Turkish government officials as well as Turkish religious leaders to gain Islam’s approval for the building of a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Glick told Turkey’s rulers that Jews and Muslims worship the same god and that the new temple would be open to all religions. Glick along with his Rabbi friends, as well as the Turkish Imams all agreed that a new temple in Jerusalem will usher in lasting peace and prosperity for Israel and an era of peace among all nations. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. He is the “chief prince” of Turkey mentioned in Ezekiel 38:2-3. Ezekiel chapter 38 describes Erdogan as he leads an invasion into northern Israel. On this occasion the God of Israel will turn back the Turkish led invaders. Lately Erdogan has threatened to take the Golan Heights away from Israel. Also Turkey and Israel have been struggling to finalize a reconciliation agreement since 2010. Perhaps the failed Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights is the event that finally causes Erdogan and Israel to conclude a peace agreement. Rabbi Yehudah Glick has arrived in the Knesset to ensure that a new temple is part of that agreement.
The Bible says that there will be a temple in Jerusalem during the Tribulation. Rabbi Yehudah Glick says that the temple will be open to all religions. The book of Revelation says that the courtyard of the temple will be trampled upon by the nations.
Revelation 11:1-2 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
This is the beginning stage of the tribulation period temple in Jerusalem and the seven year peace treaty among Erdogan and Israel. I think that the Church will be taken away before the Tribulation begins. We may not be here to see this seven year agreement signed. The Resurrection and Rapture, and the Tribulation are very near. It is High Time to Awake!
Craig, I just read this, and it is virtually the same thing I found. You’ve got it precisely Biblically. I left you a link with a comment I made under your article on May 25th that indicates a couple of influential people from Turkey, a peace activist Adnan Oktar and a Turkish journalist Ozbudak, who are all for helping Glick achieve the Jewish 3rd Temple international worship center.
I’ll leave the link here too as it is an article from the Jewish Press. Ozbudak believes that Muslims around the world should recognize Israel’s right to exist. According to Islam, he states the Jews have the right to live in Israel until the day of resurrection, the end of the world. He quotes the Qur’an which says, “Dwell in this land and when the promise of the End of Day comes to be fulfilled, we shall ensemble you there.” I think you are right bout Glick being in the Knesset to make sure the 7-year peace agreement with Turkey gets the temple rebuilt. it’s coming right around the corner, but maybe after Erdogan gets through trying to succeed through violent means, which all these people are very opposed to (muslims and Israelis alike).

Craig,
I have heard many teachers of prophecy over the past 40 years debate a pre tribulation, mid tribulation, and post tribulation rapture of the church. Many of the debates ended with most saying that “at a minimum the church would see the revealing of the antichrist and the building of the Jewish Temple before the rapture of the church.” Well, It appears that the antichrist is alive and well, with the plans and ground work for the temple in place. I was recalling what Peter said in II Peter 3:4, that many scoffers would come in the last days saying “where is the promise of His coming.” Who are these scoffers? Church age believers, Jews, or perhaps false teachers during the last days?

I think that the scoffers were around at Peter’s time and still are today. I think that Peter was referring to his day and to ours. Peter was probably talking about Jews who denied that God judged the world with a flood even though they knew the scriptures. In the same way they deny that Jesus will return to judge the world.
2Peter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

So, it seems that peter was dealing with the same mindset towards prophecy that many have today. They claim that the prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled back then, and are not relevant for today. I hope that many will embrace Christ as the prophetic events unfold and not scoff at the word of God and His faithful teachers.

Craig,
I have been reading about Ezekiel’s temple and have been puzzled over it. Is it the 3rd temple? Because there will be sacrifices offered. Who is the Prince? Is it Jesus, if so why sacrifices? Or is it both the 3rd temple that will be used by the anti Christ and then by Jesus when he returns ?

Good question. I think that Ezekiel’s temple will be built during the millennial rule of Jesus. Ezekiel’s temple is big. It wouldn’t fit on the present day temple mount. When Jesus returns Mt. Zion will be lifted up into a high mountain.
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
I think that the next temple will last only a short while. It will only be used during the Tribulation period.
