Turkey and Libya Maritime agreement

Turkey and Libya Maritime agreement

Turkey exposes it’s Ottoman expansionist ambitions

By Craig C. White

Over the past couple of years Turkey has forced a lot of disputation over oil drilling rights in the eastern Mediterranean. Turkey has sent their ships to drill around Cypress and the Greek Isles claiming it as their own territory. Luckily all that has been solved. This week Turkey and Libya have passed a new maritime agreement. The Turkish Parliament has ratified and enacted an official maritime boundary map that gives them the rights to Greek and Cypress waters. The map also seems to give Libya the rights to Egypt, Israel, and Lebanon waters.

In reaction to the new Turkey and Libya maritime agreement Greece is expelling the Libyan ambassador. Egypt called the agreement “illegal”. Before you conclude that this maritime agreement is dead in the water; on Friday December 6, 2019 Turkish President Erdogan sent the new boundary map to the UN for international approval. This new maritime map justifies Turkish aggression towards Greece, Cypress, Egypt, and even Israel. I hope that it isn’t lost on you that these are the areas that would complete a revived Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire. A revived Ottoman Empire is the beast who’s head was wounded and then healed in Revelation 13:3.

Now let’s learn something from the Bible. In Daniel chapter 11 we are told that the Antichrist will attack Egypt by many ships. There is no dispute between Bible teachers that the king of the south represents Egypt. I am here to tell you that the king of the north represents Turkey. That would make them the king of the south Mediterranean and the king of the north Mediterranean.

Dan 11:40-43 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

In the last verse we see that Libya will be allied with Turkey, the king of the north. Turkey and Libya are in cahoots today. Libya is fighting alongside of Turkey in Syria. The Free Syrian Army was created in Libya by Libyans. It is named the “Free Syrian Army” because their goal is to conquer Syria. There aren’t any Syrian soldiers in the Free Syrian Army. Ethiopia is also mentioned. The name “Cush” is translated as Ethiopia in the Bible. Cush is one of Noah’s grandsons. Cush settled in the land south of Egypt. Today Sudan is located south of Egypt. Whenever you read the name Ethiopia in the Bible, you can be assured that it really refers to Sudan. Turkey is also in cahoots with Sudan. Turkey is rebuilding an Ottoman era naval base off of the coast of Sudan.

  1. Hi Craig,

I read about the Lybia agreement this morning and immediately thought about what you have written in the past about Turkey and Egypt in regards to prophecy and the sea. I heard someone yesterday say, “when it comes to biblical prophecy being the inspired word of God there are ony three choices: One is Jesus lied, two, Jesus tried to cover up errors, or third, God’s Word was spoken by the Son of God, and has been, is being, and will be fulfilled exactly as written. That is why your commentaries are so powerful, you speak prophetic scripture.

  2. I am new to your site, so it will take some time to learn a few things. I am now trying to read more into the rapture, the differences between Tribulation and Great Tribulation, and finally, what sets off the Tribulation, not the Great Tribulation. The first 3.5 years, what sets this time period in motion?

I have read the Bible verses referring to 70-80 years being a life span, and then some people refer to the date that Israel began as a Nation, which was May 14, 1948. Ironically, the Pope is having a global leader meeting on the same day next year. It’s supposed to be a meeting on climate change. Just odd he made it for that specific date. So do we count from May 14, 1948, 70 years? 80? Or do we not use that date as a reference for the Tribulation period? Thanks

    1. Nice hearing from you Dan. I think that the seven year tribulation period begins with the signing of the seven year covenant with the Antichrist and concerning Israel.

You can stop counting generations. The generation of Jews in Jerusalem who see the Tribulation begin will also see it end.

God bless you, Craig C. White
