2020 Bible Prophecy Timeline
Satan’s fall may initiate end time prophecy
By Craig C. White
Unfortunately many popular Bible teachers have massacred Revelation chapter 12 lately. Among other things Revelation chapter 12 describes one particular moment in time. This moment divides rejoicing in heaven from damnation on earth. I think that we may be waiting for this moment to happen before end time prophetic events can proceed. Events like the Turkish attack on Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria as described in Jeremiah 49:23. Since Turkey is threatening to attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat right now I have growing suspicions that this moment is near.
What is this moment in time? It is the casting out of Satan from heaven to earth. I think that the fall of Satan could hasten the destruction of Damascus and the subsequent Turkish led invasion into Israel. You may already know that I think that Jesus will return to stop the Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights. Jesus will also gather Christians when he comes. Therefore the fall of Satan will also hasten the Rapture.
Revelation chapter 12 tells us that Satan will be cast out of heaven.
Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
You may be wondering “Hasn’t Satan already been cast out of heaven?” The short answer is, no he hasn’t. In the next verse; after Satan is cast out of heaven he loses his opportunity to approach God’s thrown in order to accuse believers in Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Folks, I think that these verses are written about you and me, as well as all Church age Christians.
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
In the next verse we see that there are people living in heaven. It seems that the casting out of Satan triggers the resurrection and rapture of Christians.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
This short time undoubtedly describes the terrible seven year long time of trouble that God has promised for Jerusalem and for all of the earth. Satan will be allowed to form a final world empire and be allowed to oppress Israel. Christians have been promised that they will escape this time of tribulation.
While Christians rejoice in heaven, the people on earth will be subject to Satan’s rage as well as to God’s judgment.
My point is that we may be waiting for Satan to be cast out of heaven before major end time events can progress. Also that we may want to prepare ourselves to expect to see Satan falling like lightning from heaven to earth.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
I know that Al-Baghdadi is dead. I still expect him to address his ISIS troops using a recorded message. This is the same way that he communicated when he was living.
