Tell Rifaat in the Bible and in the News

Jeremiah 49:23 says that the northwestern Syria cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat will hear evil reports before Damascus is destroyed. The Syrian army is in Hamah and Tell Rifaat is the last remaining Kurdish held town in northwestern Syria.

Today Turkish supported militia are shelling Tell Rifaat. The Turkish army has been threatening to attack Tell Rifaat for the past few years. Tell Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23.

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

#Turkey is redeploying Troops to their outposts in northwestern Syria. It looks like their invasion of the Syrian Army in Hamah and the Kurds in Tell Rifaat is on.

I think that after Turkey destroys Damascus then they will lead the Islamic nations that are fighting in Syria into northern Israel. Jesus will return to stop them.
