Evil abounds on earth

Evil abounds on earth

Satan was recently cast out of heaven. Satan and his angels are on earth and are causing more evil than usual. The Antichrist has already been revealed.

By Craig C. White

2Thessalonians chapter 2 tells us that two events must happen before the Tribulation period can begin. Those two events are the fall of Satan from heaven to earth and the revealing of the Antichrist as he sits in the temple of God showing himself that he is God.

I want to tell you two things. First, 2Thessalonians 2:3 says that Satan must be thrown out of heaven before the Tribulation can begin.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

Last year (2020) God cast Satan out of heaven. Satan has fallen to earth. He has taken one third of the angels with him. These angels are also known as demons. Satan and his demons have been cast out of heaven to earth. Satan and his angels are causing more evil in the world now than usual.

That is the first thing that I want to tell you.

Here is the second thing that I want to tell you. The abomination of desolation is not the same as the revealing of the Antichrist. The abomination of desolation will happen during the middle of the Tribulation. Three and one half years earlier the Antichrist will confirm a seven year covenant regarding Israel. The abomination of desolation marks the breaking of that covenant.  So the Antichrist will be revealed before the abomination of desolation.

There is more. 2Thessalonians chapter 2 says that the Antichrist must be revealed before the Tribulation period can begin. 2Thessalonians 2:4 says that the Antichrist will sit in the temple of God showing himself that he is God before the Tribulation period can begin. The Tribulation period is a seven year period of time of God’s wrath on earth.

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

From this we can determine that the abomination of desolation is not the same event as the Antichrist sitting in the temple of God. The Antichrist will sit in the temple of God before the Tribulation period begins. The abomination of desolation will happen during the middle of the Tribulation period. These two events happen at least three and one half years apart. These two events happen at different times so they can’t be the same. We will see that they also don’t happen in the same place.

That is the second thing that I want to tell you.

The abomination of desolation will stand in the holy place in the newly built temple in Jerusalem during the middle of the Tribulation period. This is the beginning of Jerusalem’s three and one half years of great Tribulation. The abomination of desolation is mentioned in Daniel, Matthew, and Revelation. This is not the revealing of the Antichrist.

The Antichrist is revealed in 2Thessalonians chapter 2. The Antichrist sitting in the temple of God showing himself that he is God in 2Thessalonians is different than the abomination of desolation standing or being set up in the Holy place.

On July 24th 2020 Turkish President Erdogan sat in the Hagia Sophia Cathedral in Istanbul Turkey exalting himself above all that is called Christian. According to 2Thessalonians Erdogan officially revealed himself as the Antichrist. Satan has fallen. He has taken one third of the angels with him. Evil abounds on earth. The Antichrist has been revealed. The Tribulation can begin. Jesus is coming soon!
