  • Will Biden become POTUS?

    Will Biden become POTUS?

    Will Biden become POTUS?

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

    By Craig C. White

Satan has fallen from heaven to earth. Turkish President Erdogan has been revealed as the Antichrist as he sat in the Hagia Sophia Cathedral saying that Allah is greater than the Christian God. Evil men are waxing worse and worse. What should we do?

2Timothy 3:13-15 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The US election has been hijacked by a barrage of fraudulent Democrat votes. Does this have to stand? No. President Trump is making efforts to assure that all votes are legitimate. However the Democrats are still disallowing Republican vote checkers access and are accusing President Trump of using the Federal government to cheat on the election. No matter who wins this election, the US has been infiltrated by evil leaders who disregard the rule of law. If Biden becomes President fraudulently then your vote will never count again. The United States of America will no longer be free.

Pray that justice will prevail. The devil is hard at work in this world but if you resist the devil he will flee.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Does the Bible say that Joe Biden will take office as the POTUS? Not exactly. However Jeremiah 49:23-27 does describe Turkey as they attack northwestern Syria and destroy Damascus. The Turkish Army is amassed in northwestern Syria now ready to attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat just as Jeremiah 49:23 describes. Tell Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23 below.

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

What does Jeremiah 49:23-27 have to do with Joe Biden? I will tell you what. The Biden administration has already vowed that they will support Turkey in removing Syrian President Assad from power in Damascus. This is the first item on their agenda.

By helping Turkey to overthrow Syrian President Assad, the US will be turning over Syria to the radical Muslim Brotherhood and to Erdogan’s revived Ottoman Empire. This is the world empire that will sorely oppress Israel during the end time. This is the end time.

Now is the time to take your faith seriously. Pray that God would prevent the United States from being turned over to theses evil men.

Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

  • Is Jesus the only person who is called the Son of man?

Is Jesus the only person who is called the Son of man?

Is Jesus the only person who is called the Son of man?

The answer might surprise you but if you read your Bible it really shouldn’t.

    By Craig C. White

It may surprise you to learn that Jesus is not the only person who is described as the son of man. In several instances in the Bible God addresses men in general as “son of man” (Psa 8:4, Heb 2:6). God often addresses the Old Testament Prophet Ezekiel as “son of man”. God calls the Prophet Daniel “son of man” only one time in (Dan 8:17). God uses the term son of man to describe all men and even says that he is not the son of man.

Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Job 25:6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

Psa 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psa 80:17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

Psa 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

    Isa 51:12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Jer 49:18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.

Jer 49:33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.

Jer 50:40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

Jer 51:43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

Eze 2:6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

Eze 2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

Eze 3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

Eze 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Eze 8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

Eze 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

Eze 8:8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.

Eze 8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

Eze 8:15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

Eze 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Eze 11:2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

Eze 30:2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

Eze 30:21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

Eze 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

Eze 33:10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

Eze 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

Eze 33:24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

The term Son of man is used to describe men. In a few instances it is even used to describe the Antichrist because he is a man. In the Bible the term “Son of man” does refer to Jesus Christ because he is also a man even though he is also God. But in these few instances the term “Son of man” is warning the people in Jerusalem and Judea about the invading army of the Antichrist.

The term “Son of man” refers to the Antichrist as he invades Jerusalem and Judea only in the following verses.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Let’s consider what events happen on the day that the Son of man is revealed. That day is a day of destruction for Jerusalem and Judea. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 17:26-29 And as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Please notice that the day that on the day that the son of man is revealed, the residents of Jerusalem and Judea are instructed to flee from their homes. Does this describe the coming of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem?

Luke 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Does Jesus return to Jerusalem when the residents of Jerusalem and Judea see the abomination of desolation? No. This is the day that the armies of the Antichrist will overrun Jerusalem.

Mat 24:15-22 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

The day that the son of man is revealed is a day of trouble for Jerusalem and Judea.

Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Mat 24:50-51 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The day that the Son of man is revealed is a day of destruction for Jerusalem and Judea. This is the beginning of Jerusalem’s great tribulation. This isn’t the day that Jesus returns to Jerusalem to save Israel.

Is Jesus the only person who is called the Son of man

    Woe to the Idol Shepherd

Rotten, good for nothing, worthless shepherd

    Zechariah 11:16-17

    By Craig C. White

What is an Idol Shepherd? Well a shepherd is someone who tends to a flock. A shepherd can also tend people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has proven that he is a faithful and strong shepherd. Thank God for him. He is diligent to serve his land and people. He is conscientious to beware of Israel’s enemies. He is attentive to the safety and welfare of the Israeli people. Today Israel is blessed with an upright shepherd.

An Idol Shepherd is a leader who does not care for his people. One day God will raise up a wicked leader in Israel who will hand over his people for profit. Don’t think that I am talking about the Antichrist. I am not. I am talking about a Jewish Israeli leader who will be in office during the great tribulation.

Zec 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

God himself will raise this shepherd to serve his purpose of judging Israel during the final seven years of indignation spoken of by the prophet Daniel (Dan 9:24). The wicked shepherd will not care for the children who wander the streets having lost their parents. He will not help those whose lives have been broken. The phrase nor feed that that standeth still means he will not support those who are standing for what is right. The shepherd will not do what is right. He will do the opposite. He will greedily consume the wealth of Israel for himself. He will tear apart all those who reach out for help.

Zec 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

God decrees misfortune upon the Idol Shepherd. The word leaveth means to forsake. The Idol Shepherd forsakes the administration of the health, safety, security and welfare of the Israeli people. God calls him the idol shepherd. Today we would literally say “rotten, good for nothing, worthless shepherd”. In the phrase the sword shall be upon his arm the word sword refers to a drought, also a cutting instrument. The word arm refers to the arm (as stretched out), it signifies force, mighty power, and strength. This verse is declaring God’s judgment upon the unfaithful leader of Israel. This could be applied to his personal judgment or possibly judgment to Israel under his tending. This could mean that the Israeli military will be cut. The idol shepherd will be powerless against Israel’s enemies. The sword will also be upon his right eye. The word right refers to your strong side. The word eye refers to sight. This may mean that his vision to do right will be darkened. Because of the context I think this may mean that a strong leader (the shepherd’s right hand man) will be cut off. Let me suggest that a wicked Israeli president may get rid of his Prime Minister who sees the needs of the people. Of course there may be a different meaning.

Zechariah further describes the condition of the arm and the eye. The phrase his arm shall be clean dried up again probably means that the Israeli military will be ashamed, confused, confounded, dried up, and withered away to nothing. The phrase his right eye shall be utterly darkened may mean that the shepherd is completely blind to what is right, or that the shepherd’s decent right hand man is completely restrained.

The idol shepherd is spoken of throughout Zechariah chapters 10 & 11, and recapped in Zechariah 13:7.

Zec 11:5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

During “the Great Tribulation” the Israeli people will be bought and sold as slaves.

Amos 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

Joel 3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

Joel 3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.

Those who own them will kill them. The slave merchants will say, “Blessed be the Hebrew God because I have become rich selling the Israeli people; and their own leaders don’t care about them”.

Zec 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Many prophetic bible verses signify two distinct events, usually separated by time. This is one of them. Here the phrase My fellow tells us that the idol shepherd is a Hebrew. God smites the idol shepherd and the Israeli people are dispersed out of their land.

In another meaning, this verse also tells us that the shepherd is God’s companion. That is “another of the same kind”. In this application my shepherd and my fellow refer to Jesus Christ. The word man here means valiant man. Zechariah is prophesying the death of Christ and the scattering of his disciples.

We all wonder how the world is going to impose their “peace plan” on Israel. It seems that Israel will not relent to their un-survivable terms. Well, there is an Israeli leader coming who will not look out for the welfare of his land or his people.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Shimon Peres are faithful shepherds. Both men hold the deepest love for their country. There is a growing global movement to replace the Israeli leaders. This coo extends inside the Israeli government. The opposition wants to install a vain leader who will bow to world dictate, especially concerning creating a Palestinian State inside of Israel. Opposition Leader Ms. Tzipi Livni has rudely blasphemed Netanyahu. She is leading protests against his leadership and is calling for his replacement. The world is greedily clamoring for Israel’s rotten shepherd. All signs point to a soon coming of Jesus Christ to gather his church.

The idol shepherd is a Jewish Israeli leader.

Russian airstrikes kill Turkish backed rebels in Idlib Syria

    In the news

    By Craig C. White

On October 26, 2020 Russian airstrikes killed or wounded some one hundred Turkish supported Al-Qaeda rebels in a large training camp in Idlib province. This group of rebels works most closely with Turkey. Russia is helping Syria to launch a new offensive aimed at ridding Idlib province of its last remaining rebels opposed to the Syrian President Assad regime. Turkey has continually reinforced its own military positions in Idlib province prompting many to suspect that Turkey will ultimately attack the Syrian Army. This week Turkish President Erdogan condemned the Russian airstrikes and said that Turkey is justified to begin its own offensive. Erdogan said that the Turkish Army could attack at any time. Things are heating up in northwestern Syria between Russian backed Syrian forces and Turkish backed Al-Qaeda forces.

The Prophet Jeremiah says that the destruction of Damascus will begin in northwestern Syria. The Turkish army is amassed in the Idlib province threatening to launch an offensive of their own.

The Antichrist is not from Assyria!

    The Antichrist is from Turkey

    By Craig C. White

The Bible compares the Antichrist to the ancient Assyrian Kings. A lot of people assume that the Antichrist must come from Assyria or northern Iraq. That is a wrong assumption. The Antichrist will not come from northern Iraq. The Antichrist is compared to the Assyrian kings because the Antichrist will do the same things that the Assyrian kings did!

What did the Assyrian kings do? The Assyrians conquered Syria and then invaded northern Israel. Latter they returned to invade southern Israel.

Today Turkey is poised to launch a major ground invasion into Syria. Turkey will invade Syria, destroy Damascus, and then lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into Israel.

  • The destruction of Damascus is still future!

The destruction of Damascus is still future!

    Jeremiah prophesied long after Isaiah

    By Craig C. White

Please allow me to defend the future fulfillment of the destruction of Damascus. Many Bible scholars claim that the destruction of Damascus has already taken place. They say that the Assyrian conquest of Damascus in 734 BC fulfills the Damascus prophecy. Well Damascus was conquered by Assyria in 734 BC and several cities around Damascus were burned with fire but Damascus has never been completely destroyed. These Bible teachers argue that the Assyrian conquest of Damascus happened shortly after Isaiah gave his prophecy about the destruction of Damascus.

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

It is true that the Assyrians conquered Damascus and wreaked havoc on surrounding towns shortly after Isaiah predicted the event. I am certain that much of Isaiah’s prophecy was fulfilled in 734 BC, BUT long after Isaiah gave his prophecy the Prophet Jeremiah also predicted the destruction of Damascus.

Jeremiah 49:23-25 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

Jeremiah was a prophet of Israel around 600 BC. Jeremiah gave his prophecy one hundred years after Assyria conquered Damascus in 734 BC. So the Assyrian conquest of Damascus cannot possibly fulfill Jeremiah’s prophecy. The destruction of Damascus is still future.

I think that Jeremiah is prophesying about an invasion of Damascus that is forming now. Turkey will destroy Damascus!

Turkey is pulling back a few of their military outposts in Hamah province and on the outskirts of Idlib province in northwestern Syria. These outposts had become completely surrounded by the Syrian Army.  Syria and Russia are beginning a major push against Turkish backed rebel forces in Idlib province. Turkey doesn’t want their outposts to be easily captured in this attack. Another reason why Turkey may be pulling back is that, if Turkey launches their own offensive then they don’t want their outposts that are deep in Syrian controlled territory to become hostage. Under the Sochi agreement with Russia, Turkey was allowed to set up 12 military outposts in Idlib. Turkey has now set up over 50 outposts. Turkey is not leaving Syria. Turkey is relocating these outposts in Idlib province.

Idlib is located between Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria. The Prophet Jeremiah says that the destruction of Damascus will begin in Hamah and Tell Rifaat. Jeremiah 49:23-27 says that when Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. The Turkish Army has built up a large military presence in Idlib. It looks like Turkey will launch a major offensive against the Syrian Army in Hamah and also against the Kurds in Tell Rifaat. Tell Rifaat is the last remaining Kurdish held town in northwestern Syria. Turkey has already pushed all of the Kurds in the Afrin region into Tell Rifaat. Tell Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23.

  • Kir is Kerak – Damascus refugees will soon flee to Kerak, Jordan!

Kir is Kerak – Damascus refugees will soon flee to Kerak, Jordan!

    Kir is Kerak

Damascus refugees will soon flee to Kerak, Jordan!

Damascus refugees will soon flee to Kerak, Jordan!

    By Craig C. White

The Prophet Amos condemned Damascus. He said that God would send an army against Damascus and that the Syrian people would become refugees in Jordan. This prophecy was fulfilled when Tiglath-pileser the Assyrian king conquered Damascus (734 B.C.) and carried the Syrian (Aramean) captives away to Kir (mountainous region in western Jordan). However, like many bible prophecies this may also refer to a current event. Today the city of Kir in Jordan is called Kerak. Kerak is in south western Jordan east of the Dead Sea. It has a population of about 20,000. Not including the tens of thousands of Syrian refugees already there. The citizens of Kerak are poor and mostly Christian. By the way Kerak is in the Moab region of Jordan and is very likely where the Judean refugees will flee during Jerusalem’s Great Tribulation!

There are about 600,000 Syrian refugees in western Jordan today. This is further evidence that the destruction of Damascus as described in the bible is eminent. It is also evidence that the God of Israel is the one true God and that we all had better heed his word and we had also better humble ourselves before him while there is still time! In Amos 1:5 the plain of Aven is a valley in the northeast part of Lebanon near the Syrian border. Today it is called the Bekaa valley. It has been suggested that Saddam Hussein hid WMD’s here before the invasion of Iraq.

Amo 1:3-5 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: 4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. 5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

God used the terminology to send a fire to mean that the Assyrian army would besiege the city. Just as the ancient Assyrians assaulted the city in 734 BC, I think that the Turkish army will do likewise soon. The palaces of Benhadad refer to the ancient thrones of Syrian Kings in Damascus. Like the ancient invasion, this future invasion will also destroy Damascus’ seat of government in the old part of Damascus.

Tens of thousands of Syrians have already taken refuge in Kir (or Kerak) in western Jordan. Many more will join them as Damascus flees. Bible prophecies are coming true. There is a terrible time of Satan’s anger and of God’s judgement coming on all of the world. It is High Time to surrender your soul into God’s care.

Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49 also predict the destruction of Damascus, Syria. They both offer details that can be observed today!

  • Life after the Tribulation

    Life after the Tribulation

    One hundred and done

    Isaiah 65:20

    By Craig C. White

I shared this passage about life after the Tribulation period with a class of about 40 well-read Bible students. Nobody had heard of it. Naturally they thought I was nuts. Don’t worry, I am used to it.

In life after the 7 year Tribulation period Jesus Christ will rule on earth in Jerusalem. Individuals will have one hundred years to trust in Jesus for remission of sin. If they don’t submit to God by age one hundred they are doomed to perdition (hell).

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

This passage is contrasting the difference in day to day life between Tribulation period, and post Tribulation Israel. OK folks, here is something that is quite different. Literally; There shall no longer be accomplished there at that time a baby of a few days old (or a baby will not die as an infant), nor an old man who has not fulfilled his own days (an old man will not die before his entire natural life span is complete). During the Tribulation period many babies and old men will be killed in Israel. It will be different in the days following the Tribulation. Literally; the young (pre-adolescent) child shall die when he is one hundred years old. Wow, this seems to be saying that it will take over one hundred years for a child to reach adolescence. Perhaps this was the way of life after Eden? If we take a more figurative view (although I don’t see any reason to do so) perhaps this passage is saying that a one hundred year life span will be considered very short. Let me state the obvious. Children will be born during Christ’s reign on earth. Literally; but the person who misses the mark when they reach one hundred years of age shall be brought into contempt. If a person doesn’t honor God by the time they reach one hundred years old they will be judged by being sent to the lake of fire.

I think that Isaiah is describing the youthful eternal life that believers in Jesus Christ will enjoy after his second coming. Isaiah also describes the terrible fate of those who rebel against God over their long lifetime. Isaiah 65:20 specifically describes the populous in Jerusalem.

By the way, I am still waiting and praying for some dear people that I know who are approaching the age of one hundred to turn to God.

Very interesting to read and hard to stop. – Alexandria

Bashan Carmel and Lebanon - Nahum 1:4 Map

Why are the areas around Damascus and the Golan Heights mentioned in conjunction with the flooding and judgment of ancient Nineveh? Nineveh was destroyed with a flood in 612 BC. Today Mosul in northern Iraq is built around the ruins of ancient Nineveh. The Prophet Nahum predicted the flooding of Nineveh he may also predict the flooding of ISIS in Mosul! In Nahum it seems that Jesus Christ will personally judge ISIS in Mosul.

Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

While describing the flooding of Nineveh the Prophet Nahum also mentions these other places; Bashan, Carmel, and Lebanon. Is it possible that Jesus will judge these places in person when he comes to collect his Church at the Rapture?

Nahum 1:4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. 7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

It is interesting to note that all of these places are the scenes of end time events that I believe will happen around the same time. I think that the flooding of Mosul (Nahum), and the destruction of Damascus (Jer 49:23-27), and the following Turkish led invasion into (northern) Israel (Eze 38) will all happen just before the Tribulation begins. The scene is set for all of these events to happen now!

Nahum also says that as the Lord comes in his anger that he knows who belongs to him (Nahum 1:7). Could this be describing the Rapture?
