The flooding of Mosul – Israel’s sign of coming judgement

    By Craig C. White

The book of Nahum is all about the destruction of the ancient city of Nineveh. God destroyed the city with a flood and then it was ransacked for two months.Today the ruins of Nineveh lie within the city limits of Mosul.

Nahum 1:8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

Conditions in Mosul are the same as they were in ancient Nineveh. The Mosul dam is in danger of bursting. The same three armies are set against it. Nahum likely also foretells the destruction of Mosul. The destruction of Mosul could be the end time sign to Israel that their time of trouble is at hand. The destruction of Mosul could also be the sign to the unbelieving world that God is about to judge them.

The unbelieving religious rulers in Jerusalem demanded a sign from Jesus. Jesus told them that they would not be given a sign except for the sign of Jonah. Jonah was sent to ancient Nineveh to tell them to repent because God’s judgment was coming on the city.

Matthew 12:38-39 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

Perhaps some of the nation of Israel will repent at the preaching of Jonah when Mosul is flooded! If they do repent then they will narrowly escape God’s coming judgement on the city of Jerusalem and on the nation of Israel.

  • What is the abomination of desolation?

What is the abomination of desolation?

    By Craig C. White

The Prophet Daniel describes an action that will bring desolation upon Jerusalem and pollute its new temple.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The abomination that makes desolate is an action that desecrates the next temple to be built in Jerusalem. The Antichrist will either sit in the temple and proclaim that he should be worshiped as god; or he will erect an image or idol in the temple that claims that he is god.

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Matthew 24:15-17 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

The action of desecrating the temple will usher in a three and one half year period of God’s indignation towards Israel. During this time the enemies of Israel will overrun Jerusalem. God has determined three and one half years of suffering for Jerusalem. At the end of this time Jesus Christ will return to rescue the last remaining Jews in Jerusalem and vanquish Israel’s enemies.

What is the abomination of desolation?

In the end Jesus Christ will bring desolation upon the person who brought desolation upon Jerusalem. Read my commentary titled God has determined to pour out his wrath on the desolator

  • When will Elijah come?

    When will Elijah come?

Before the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

    By Craig C. White

The Prophet Malachi promises that God will send the Prophet Elijah to Israel before the great and dreadful day of the LORD. So then we must determine when the “day of the LORD” will happen.

The word “day” in Malachi 4:5 tends to refer to a specific day rather than a period of time, so I would suspect that this is the day that Jesus returns to wipe out Israel’s enemies.

Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

The Prophet Daniel foretells a coming seven year period of trouble for the nation of Israel. It is referred to as the Tribulation period. The seven years long Tribulation happens just before Jesus returns to judge the nations that have gathered against the nation of Israel.

Yes the nation of Israel will turn to God during the tribulation period or at least during the second half of the Tribulation (Jerusalem’s great tribulation”).

So when is the “day of the LORD”? Every verse in the Old Testament that refers to “the day of the LORD” describes the day that Jesus will return to judge the nations.

Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Obadiah 1:15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

I am pretty sure that Elijah will be one of the two witnesses that are described in Revelation chapter 11. According to Revelation chapter 11 the nations will overrun Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years. Also the two witnesses will prophesy for 3 1/2 years.

Rev 11:2-3 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

It seems that the two witnesses will be killed and resurrected near the end of the tribulation period. If that is the case then they will begin to prophesy during the middle of the tribulation period. That means that Elijah will come during the middle of the seven year Tribulation period.

The next verse happens just after the two witnesses are killed and resurrected.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The day of the Lord seems to primarily indicate the day that Jesus returns to fight against the armies that he has gathered together. Just before the day of the Lord, the sun shall be darkened. When Jesus fights against his enemies then the earth will melt with heat.

I agree that the entire seven year Tribulation period is a time of God’s wrath. I agree that God will pour out judgments upon the earth during the Tribulation. The Revelation seal judgments seem to fall on the earth in general. Such trials as earthquakes, famines, disease, tidal waves, hail, fire, blood, wild animals, and wars will happen throughout the entire seven year tribulation period. The day of the Lord seems to fall on the rebellious nations and armies that God has purposely gathered together so that he can destroy them in person.

While it is important to note that God will pour out his judgments upon the earth throughout the tribulation period; “The great and dreadful day of the LORD” definitely refers to Jesus Christ’s second coming when he will personally judge the nations.

Elijah will come before the second coming of Jesus or what the Bible calls “the day of the LORD”. Elijah will continue for 3 ½ years. The Bible does not say that Elijah will come before the Antichrist. The Bible doesn’t say that Elijah will come before the seven years long tribulation period begins. The real and original Elijah will come to Jerusalem during the middle of the Tribulation period to turn the hearts of the Jews back towards their God. Then Jesus will return to judge the nations and to restore the nation of Israel.

    When will Elijah come?

Jesus will return to fight against Turkey!

    By Craig C. White

“Believers in Grace Fellowship” in Marion, Iowa is hosting what is shaping up to be an utterly amazing Bible prophecy conference.

The conference includes four national speakers including newcomer Craig C. White. Here is the amazing part. Mr. White says that Jesus will return soon. But that’s not all. White says that Turkey will destroy Damascus and then invade the Golan Heights of Israel. Craig C. White says that we can expect Jesus Christ to return to earth in order to fight against the Turkish Army when they enter the Golan Heights. That scares me a little since the Turkish Army is now flowing into northern Syria.

Craig C. White says that the “Rapture” of Christians will happen at the same time that Turkey invades the Golan Heights. If this amazing claim is true then the Rapture could be expected to happen within the next several months. Come to Marion, Iowa to find out more.

“Believers in Grace Fellowship” is a nondenominational Bible church located in Marion, Iowa. Pastor Bill Randles is an internationally acclaimed Bible teacher, writer, and speaker.

Also appearing at the conference is Philip Haney who was a founding member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security where he specialized in the strategy and tactics of the Global Islamic movement.

Another well-known national speaker and writer rounds out the roster at the “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference. Jim Fletcher is a prolific writer for Rapture Ready, The Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, World Net Daily, and Beliefnet.

The “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference will run for three days on January 19-22, 2018 and is open to the public.

  • Jewish and Christian conservatives promote building new temple in Jerusalem

Jewish and Christian conservatives promote building new temple in Jerusalem

This will usher in Jerusalem’s great tribulation.

    By Craig C. White

The latest troubling news that I have heard is that conservative Christian Bible teachers and conservative Jewish pundits are all calling for a temple to be built in Jerusalem. They say that this will usher in lasting peace in Israel. But in truth, building a temple in Jerusalem will usher in Jerusalem’s great tribulation. Some people who have promoted building a new temple in Jerusalem are Rabbi Yehudah Glick of course but also former Arkansas Governor and Evangelical Christian Mike Huckabee, Jewish conservative activist and lawyer Jay Sekulow, and Jewish Evangelical Christian and Bible prophecy speaker Amir Tsarfati.

Mike Huckabee has joined forces with Rabbi Yehudah Glick for the purpose of gathering signatures on the Jerusalem Covenant. The Jerusalem Covenant is a petition that reaffirms Israel’s right to exist as a nation and also it’s right to build a temple in Israel. Rabbi Yehudah Glick is an Israeli Parliament (Knesset) member plus Glick is also the leading proponent for building a temple in Jerusalem.

Conservative Radio and TV talk show host and lawyer Jay Sekulow recently gave a speech at the UN calling for Israel’s right to build a temple in Jerusalem. I love Jay Sekulow. He truly does fight for law and justice; but he should be aware that the Prophet Daniel says that building a temple in Jerusalem and resuming temple sacrifices there will hasten the time of Jacob’s trouble.

Jewish Christian and Bible prophecy speaker Amir Tsarfati says that Israel will certainly not be attacked. That’s not what Zechariah says.

Zechariah  14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Amir Tsarfati says that the Ezekiel chapter 38 invasion into Israel will usher in lasting peace in Israel. The Turkish led Ezekiel chapter 38 invasion into Israel is forming now in the Golan Heights of Syria. Every nation that Ezekiel 38:5 lists is fighting in Syria today. This invasion will happen soon.

Ezekiel 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

God will cause these nations to retreat. The Turkish led Ezekiel chapter 38 invasion into Israel probably will prompt the seven year peace treaty spoken of by Daniel, but the peace treaty will be broken by an attack on Jerusalem beginning their time of great tribulation.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

It just proves that it is not enough to be conservative. You must be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is destruction.

The next verse was written about the Jews living around Jerusalem. When they declare that peace and security has finally come to Jerusalem then an army will sweep in and kill them or carry them away as prisoners.

1Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Today the Jewish Rabbis are predicting that building a temple will bring lasting peace to Jerusalem. Jewish and Christian conservatives are reinforcing this treacherous misconception. The Tribulation truly is near. It’s High Time to Awake!

  • Satan must fall from heaven and then empower the Antichrist to do false signs and wonders before the Tribulation begins.

Satan must fall from heaven and then empower the Antichrist to do false signs and wonders before the Tribulation begins.

    Do you disagree?

    By Craig C. White

I know that most Bible teachers say that the “falling away” in 2Thessalonians 2:3 is either the apostasy of the Church or the leaving of the Church from earth and the taking away of the Holy Spirit at the Rapture. BUT I don’t agree at all. The Apostle Paul isn’t telling us anything new in 2Thessalonians 2. He is referencing Old Testament Prophets in order to tell us the timing of the Tribulation.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

The Christians in Thessalonica were worried that they had missed the Rapture. They were asking Paul if the Tribulation had begun. It makes no sense for Paul to tell them that the Tribulation hadn’t come because the Rapture hadn’t come. That piece of information doesn’t help Christians to identify the beginning of the Tribulation because if the Rapture happened then they would be gone. Paul referenced the Old Testament Prophets Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah when he said that Satan must fall from heaven to earth and then empower the Antichrist to do false signs and wonders before the Tribulation begins. Now those events are something that Church age believers can recognize even if they occur before the Rapture!

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Paul even directs the Christians in Thessalonica to rely on the Old Testament writings and on his letters in order to determine the timing of the Tribulation.

2Th 2:15-17 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

The message of 2Thessalonians 2:3 is simple. The Tribulation will not begin until Satan falls from Heaven to Earth and then the Antichrist is revealed.

I think that you will agree that Satan must fall before he can empower the Antichrist. It makes sense. Now if you could only see that Paul has been telling us that all along.

Satan must fall from heaven and then empower the Antichrist to do false signs and wonders before the Tribulation begins.

    2018 Bible Prophecy Timeline

    We can see Jesus coming!

    By Craig C. White

2018 is upon us and end time Bible prophecy is becoming clearer and clearer to see. Every year I tell you that these end time events typically take longer than I suspect to come to pass. Now it seems that Bible events are cued up and ready to begin in earnest. I think that Jesus will return within the next couple of years.

The path to Jesus Christ’s return for his Church is easy to see! The nearer that the Turkish Army gets to Israel, the nearer that Jesus will get to Israel, and the nearer that Christians will be to being rescued. Unfortunately that means that seven years of God’s wrath is about to begin for Israel and also for the rest of the world.

The Prophet Jeremiah told us about two northwestern Syria cities that will hear evil reports just before the residents of Damascus flee and then Damascus is destroyed. So the invaders that destroy Damascus come from the north. Jeremiah 49:23 identifies Hamah and Arpad (or modern day Tell Rifaat). The Turkish Army is amassed near both of these cities now. Turkish President Erdogan is threatening to attack the Kurds in Hamah and Tell Rifaat. Erdogan has also promised to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Damascus. Erdogan said that the sole reason that Turkey has entered Syria is to remove Assad.

By the way, Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist! Scout’s honor. Just a side note: we should expect to see Satan cast out of heaven and fall to the Earth. This will become apparent as Satan empowers Turkish President Erdogan to blaspheme the God of Israel and to perform false miracles. It could be that Satan will enrage Turkish President Erdogan to finally attack Israel.

A lot of Bible prophecy that was written about the ancient Assyrian capital city of Nineveh has already been fulfilled in Mosul. The northern Iraq city of Mosul is built around the ruins of Nineveh. The Prophet Nahum predicts that an army will attack and destroy Mosul. Last year the Iraqi Army hunted down ISIS fighters street by street until much of Mosul was reduced to ruins. Nahum also predicts a final ISIS uprising in Mosul as well as the flooding of the city.

Most Bible teachers completely ignore the Old Testament book of Nahum but it turns out that Nahum gives us remarkable insight into end time events. The Prophet Nahum makes several other predictions concerning Mosul in northern Iraq. Here is the latest one to come to fulfillment.

In the next verse Nahum says that Mosul’s wicked leader will formally address his troops just before a final battle is staged.

Nahum 2:5 He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.

In September 2017 ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi released a 46 minute long voice recording addressing his ISIS troops in Iraq and Syria and around the world. Al-Baghdadi told ISIS soldiers in Iraq and Syria to keep fighting. He also told ISIS sympathizers around the world to commit terrorist acts against the west. Now it could be that we will be hearing even more from the ISIS leader.

In the very next verse the city of Mosul is destroyed by a flood of water.

Nahum 2:6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.

Besides telling us about the destruction and flooding of ancient Nineveh; the book of Nahum also describes the coming in the air of Jesus Christ!!! He comes in a whirlwind and he is HOT!!!

Nahum 1:3-8 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. 7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. 8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

In the verses above, Nahum identifies Bashan, Carmel, and Lebanon. These places all describe the Golan Heights that separate Israel from Syria and Lebanon. So it seems that Jesus Christ will scorch the ground as he passes by the Golan Heights when he comes in the air! But notice that God also protects those people who trust in him. This could refer to the Resurrection and Rapture of Church age believers.

I think that Ezekiel chapter 38 describes a Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights of Israel. I expect this invasion to happen after Turkey attacks Hamah and Tell-Rifaat in northwestern Syria, and then marches southward to destroy Damascus. Every nation that is listed in Ezekiel 38:5 is now fighting in Syria.

Ezekiel 38:20 says that, “all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence”. So it seems that Jesus Christ will fight against the Turkish led invaders in person. Ezekiel says that God will cause these invaders to retreat.

Psalm 50:3-5 describes a similar scenario. Jesus will come in the air in a fiery tornado. Jesus will cause the armies that have gathered against Israel on the Golan Heights to retreat and he will also gather Christians.

Psalm 50:3-5 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. 5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

The Rapture fuse is lit! The nearer that Turkey gets to Israel, the nearer that Jesus will get to Israel.

Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. He will destroy Damascus and then invade the Golan Heights. Jesus will return to turn the Turkish led invaders back and also to take away Christians. Afterwards I think that a peace deal will be made beginning the seven year long Tribulation period.

    Erdogan is the Antichrist

    By Craig C. White

A lot of Christians insist that U.S. President Barrack Obama is the Antichrist but let’s take a look at what the Bible says about what the Antichrist will do.

The Antichrist will become the ruler over a coming world empire. The beast in Revelation 17:8 is the last past world empire that will be reestablished in the end time. The last world empire was the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire. When the Ottoman Empire is reestablished then the Islamic nations will wonder.

Be careful when you interpret “they that dwell on the earth” as representing the entire earth. According the the following passage, the whole world will not wonder at the beast but only unbelievers. These are the old world Islamic nations of the Middle East.

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

There is only one person on the political scene today who is boldly working to reestablish the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire. That is Turkish President Erdogan. Erdogan has built the largest palace in the world in Ankara, Turkey. He has dedicated the palace to the resurgence of Turkey as a world power. Erdogan is already viewed by every Islamic nation as being their new Sultan. The Islamic nations are already saying, “Who is like Erdogan and who can make war against him?”

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Many Christians say that U.S. President Barrack Obama is the Antichrist. Barrack Obama is certainly on the wrong side BUT he is not the Antichrist. Barrack Obama is subservient to Erdogan. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist.

  • Jesus Claims that he is God

Jesus Claims that he is God

    GOD HAS A SON

    By Craig C. White

I believe that Jesus is God. As a matter of fact I believe that Jesus was God long before he was a man. Jesus himself believed that he was God. He claimed to be God over and over again. God became a man in order to reconcile sinful man to himself.

Some people say that there is nowhere in the bible that Jesus claims that he is God. They are so wrong. Jesus claims to be God and gets into a lot of trouble for it.

Mat 26:63-65 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

In the verse above the high priest understands that Jesus claims to be God. He was ready to stone for him for what Jesus claims. I understand that Jesus claims to be God. In the verse below the disciple Peter understands that Jesus claims that he is God. Only by God’s power can we believe that Jesus is God.

Mat 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

We believe that Jesus is God through faith.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

John 8:56-58 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus claims to have lived before Abraham. That is because he was alive before all creation. Jesus is not only a prophet. Jesus is God.

John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”

Jesus the Son is one with God the Father. He said it!

John 18:4-6 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? 5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. 6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Jesus had the power of God. Jesus healed the sick, made the blind to see, and did many miracles. John the Baptist asked if Jesus was the messiah. Jesus said that his miracles were evidence that he was. These miracles were prophesied (Job 29:15; Psa 146:8; Isa 29:18-19, Isa 32:3-4, Isa 35:5-6; Isa 42:6-7, Isa 42:16, Isa 61:1-3; Jer 31:8 etc.)

Luke 7:19-23 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

John 14:7-10 [7] If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” [8] Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” [9] Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, `Show us the Father’? [10] Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

You have to try awfully hard to believe that there is nowhere in the bible that Jesus claims to be God.

John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

Do you still falter? Do you still say that there is nowhere that Jesus claims to be God?

John 10:37-38 [37] Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. [38] But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”

If you cannot believe Jesus claims that he is God then believe his miracles. Evidently people have stiff necks, and deceitful hearts that keep them apart from God.

Mat 27:41-43 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

In the verses above and below the religious leaders and the people understood Jesus claims that he was God and the son of God, even though they didn’t honor Jesus as God.

John 10:31-33 [31] Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, [32] but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” [33] “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

In the verse below Jesus claims that he was with God before creation. That means that Jesus claims to be God!

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

In the verse below Jesus claims to be the Christ (the anointed one), the son of God, the I am, that he sits on the right hand of God in heaven, and that he will come back to earth as God. Show me somebody else who claimed to be God as much as Jesus did! Who do you believe?

Mark 14:61b-62 [61b] Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” [62] “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

In the verse below Jesus claims to be the Christ (the Messiah, the anointed). He is coming back with vengeance for the enemies of Israel!

Luke 22:66-70 [66] At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was led before them. [67] “If you are the Christ, ” they said, “tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, [68] and if I asked you, you would not answer. [69] But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.” [70] They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?” He replied, “You are right in saying I am.”

Do you believe Jesus when he says that he is the Messiah? Do you believe me? Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is God.

Daniel 7:13-14 [13] “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. [14] He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Jesus is coming again. This time he will rule over the entire earth with power. Beware. Jesus said,

John 5:42-43 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Who will you believe? It doesn’t seem to matter what the evidence is. What seems to matter is what is in a man’s heart. Will you reject God because he is God? Don’t condemn yourself. Jesus is God!

    Resurrection

    Resurrection

Because Jesus lives we will live.

    By Craig C. White

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ happened three days after his death. Every person will also be resurrected. The Resurrection is the raising up again to life of the dead.

1Co 15:3-4  Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

What hope do we have that we will be resurrected? Because Jesus rose bodily from the grave we have confidence that one day we will rise likewise!

Act 17:31  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Christ rose in his physical body. All people who trust him will also rise in their physical bodies! The verse below is part of a song. This song will be sung by the citizens of Judea at Christ’s second coming.

Isa 26:19  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Jesus Christ died and then rose from the dead in his physical body. He now sits on the right hand of God in heaven.

Rom 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Because Jesus rose up alive in his body, we can have confidence that we will also rise from the dead to eternal life.

1Th 4:13-14  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Even your loved ones who are dead will live again. All who put their faith in Jesus will rise up again in their bodies and live! We will be raised bodily and live forever with God. That’s the way God meant life to be. Life is Eternal. Can’t you see that this is true? Do not think that you won’t see your family again. You will see them if they have faith in God.

Joh 5:28-29  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Every person will come out of the grave. The faithful believing will live. The unbelieving and wicked will be thrown into the lake of fire forever. This is called the second death (Rev 20:14). There is no coming back from the second death. Don’t harden your heart towards God. Don’t stiffen your neck! There is eternal life at stake, and eternal hell to pay! Humble yourself and pray. God will hear the prayer of an open heart. Jesus died in our place. God raised him again so we would have hope for our own resurrection.

By the way, I expect the next resurrection to occur in the next year or two. I’m going to run down to the cemetery and greet them.

Resurrection note: It may be that just as Jesus Christ was raised from the grave on the third day; that when he returns to Israel at the end of the Tribulation period he will also revive the surviving Jewish people for two days and then raise up from the dead all believing Jews since Abraham on the third day.

Hosea 6:1-2  Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.  2  After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
