The elders of the Church are in heaven before the scroll of God’s judgment is opened. That means that the rest of the Church is with them!
Revelation 5:8-9 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
People from every tongue and nation are in heaven before Jesus opens the seals of the scroll that begins the Tribulation (Rev 5:9). That means that the Church is resurrected and raptured before the Tribulation begins!

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is still in Mosul

If you will remember Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi proclaimed himself as the head of a new Islamic Caliphate, also known as the Islamic State, or ISIS. It was reported that al-Baghdadi may have been killed in a air raid on Raqqa, Syria in June 2016. But the report was never confirmed. Iraqi intelligence is now reporting that al-Baghdadi is still present inside of the northern Iraq city of Mosul. Mosul is the hometown and headquarters of ISIS. As you know, the battle to remove ISIS from Mosul has been underway for the past two months. I think that the Prophet Nahum identifies al-Baghdadi in the following verse.
Nahum 1:11 There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.
The Old Testament book of Nahum is all about the flooding and destruction of the ancient Assyrian capital city of Nineveh. Today Mosul is built around the ruins of Nineveh. I think that Nahum also predicts the flooding of ISIS in Mosul.
Nineveh was destroyed by a flood along with three invading armies in 612 BC. When the walls of Nineveh collapsed the Assyrian King Sinsharishkun committed suicide inside of the city. Sinsharishkun is certainly represented in Nahum 1:11. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may also be represented.

Ezekiel chapter 38 lists every nation that is fighting in Syria today! Ezekiel lists every nation except Iraq. ISIS from northern Iraq is fighting in Syria but it is not listed in the Turkish led invasion into Israel that is described in Ezekiel chapter 38.
Why is ISIS missing from Ezekiel chapter 38? Because God is going to marginalize ISIS before the Turkish led invasion into Israel happens. In Bible prophecy ISIS represents the Ancient Assyrians from the city of Nineveh. Ancient Nineveh is the modern day city of Mosul in northern Iraq. Mosul is the hometown and headquarters of ISIS. The Prophet Nahum says that ISIS will be gathered together in Mosul at the time that God sends a flood of water to drown them! The city will then be plundered by its neighbors; Iraq, Iran, and the Kurds. Now the Mosul dam is in danger of failing. Nahum says they will be in the midst of a drunken celebration when the flood hits.
Today the battle to retake Mosul from ISIS is underway. Iraq, Iran, and the Kurds are all fighting against ISIS near Mosul. ISIS is also occupying much of northeastern Syria. Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes a Turkish invasion into northwestern Syria. The Turkish Army is already amassed on the Syrian border. Turkey President Erdogan has threatened to enter northwestern Syria. It could be that Turkey will chase ISIS in Syria back to their home base in Mosul, Iraq.
Be aware; ISIS in Mosul will be destroyed by a flood. Turkey will invade Syria and destroy Damascus. Then Turkey will lead Iran, Sudan, and Libya into Israel. Today they are all fighting in Syria!

This is something that you don’t hear every day. ISIS has opened a five star resort hotel in the northern Iraq city of Mosul. When ISIS invaded Mosul in the summer of 2014 they ordered every hotel to close. Lately they have taken control of the Nineveh International Hotel and reopened it after doing some ISIS friendly remodeling. ISIS has removed all ornamentation from the building and raised the black ISIS flag overhead. The hotel will cater to high ranking ISIS officers and dignitaries.
The Nineveh International Hotel overlooks the Tigris River directly across from the ruins of the ancient city of Nineveh. Nineveh was destroyed by a flood in 612 BC. The Mosul dam sits a few miles upstream from downtown Mosul. The dam is unstable. According to the Army Corps of Engineers the Mosul dam is the most dangerous dam in the world. So there is a real threat that Mosul could be destroyed by a flood just as ancient Nineveh was. According to flood studies the Nineveh International Hotel on the west side of the Tigris River is in the absolute worst location. If the Mosul dam suffers a catastrophic failure then the hotel could be hit by a seventy five foot high wave of water.
It gets more interesting. The Bible may actually foretell the flooding of Mosul! The book of the Prophet Nahum is all about the flooding and plundering of ancient Nineveh. Nahum says that God will destroy the “place” where Nineveh sat with a flood of water. So Nahum may also describe the flooding of modern Mosul.
The book of Nahum chronicles the Ancient Assyrians as they were gathered together in a palace in Nineveh celebrating their great exploits. The Assyrians may have been recounting their conquest of the Egyptian city of Thebes when the flood hit in 612 BC. I wonder if ISIS will be gathered together at the Nineveh International Hotel remembering some city that they have conquered when the Mosul dam breaks? It’s funny that you should bring that up.
Over the past year there has been an ongoing struggle for control over the northern Syrian city of Kobani. Kobani is a Kurdish city and is a strategic spot for ISIS to control. Kobani borders Turkey and would allow easy entrance of ISIS rebels into Syria. At one point ISIS had gained almost complete control of the city. Turkey stepped in and allowed Turkish Kurdish Peshmerga troops to enter Kobani from Turkey. The Kurdish Peshmerga troops forced ISIS out of Kobani. The city was left in complete ruins. Almost none of the 50,000 residents remain.
Turkey allowed the Turkish Kurds into Kobani, Syria for their own purposes. The Kurds cleared a path to an Ottoman Empire shrine. Turkey then entered Syria through Kobani in order to retrieve the remains of Suleyman Shah the grandfather of the founder of the Ottoman Empire. If ISIS returns to retake Kobani it is doubtful that Turkey will allow the Kurds to enter Syria again.
Now the Kurdish Peshmerga troops have left Kobani. Only a small force of Kurdish militia remains. Well guess what? ISIS is on the march again to capture Kobani. ISIS has already taken several small towns south of Kobani and is fighting their way northwards towards the city.
I wonder if ISIS will be gathered together at the Nineveh International Hotel celebrating their conquest of Kobani when the city of Mosul floods?
Oct. 23, 2016: There have been unconfirmed reports that ISIS has blown up the Nineveh International Hotel. I am not convinced.

Turkey has retaken Al-Bab, Syria from ISIS
Al-Bab is the doorway to the Kurdish controlled northwestern region of Syria.

Turkey along with foreign Al-Qaeda rebels known as the Free Syrian Army have been fighting to retake the northwestern city of Al-Bab from ISIS since December 2016. Al-Bab is just thirty miles from Tell-Rifaat. Tell-Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23. According to Jeremiah, after Tell-Rifaat hears about a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Turkey has taken Al-Bab. Next they promise to continue fighting the Kurds in Syria. Tell-Rifaat is a Kurdish held town. Turkey has already begun shelling Tell-Rifaat. There has also been speculation that Turkey could target nearby Manbij. Manbij is another Kurdish held town.
There has also been a great amount of debate about whether Turkey will attack Raqqa, Syria. Raqqa is the ISIS headquarters in Syria. My Opinion is that Turkey has very little interest in eliminating ISIS in Syria or Iraq. Turkey is a majority Sunni Muslim nation. The Sunni Turks prefer to support the Sunni Al-Qaeda ISIS group. Even though Turkey has removed ISIS from Al-Bab, they have allowed most of them to escape to nearby towns. The Arabic name “Al-Bab” means the door. Al-Bab is the doorway to the Kurdish controlled northwestern region of Syria.
Jeremiah says that after Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria hear about a coming invasion then Damascus will be destroyed!

The Prophet Daniel says that the Antichrist will conquer many nations in North Africa. Daniel says that the Antichrist will conquer Egypt in particular. Daniel 11:40 says that the Antichrist will come against Egypt with many ships. Today Turkey is constructing its first large scale amphibious assault ship. This new landing vessel will hold 1,200 troops, 150 vehicles, eight helicopters, plus three unmanned aircraft. Turkey is located just 300 miles to the north of Egypt across the Mediterranean Sea. This new landing ship will be just what Turkey needs to attack Egypt.Almost every Bible prophecy teacher agrees that the “king of the south” in Daniel 11:40 represents Egypt. I am here to tell you that the “king of the north” represents Turkey! Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist! He has already promised to reinstate ousted Muslim Brotherhood President Morsi in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood was removed from power in Egypt. They are now waiting inside of Turkey to try to overthrow the Egyptian government again. Turkey is helping them. Now even political analysts are seeing that Turkey is very likely to attack Egypt soon.According to Daniel chapter 11 the Antichrist will conquer Egypt along with several other North African nations. Daniel 11:41 says that the Antichrist will then “enter also into the glorious land”; meaning that after the Antichrist conquers North Africa he will also invade Israel. Most Bible teachers think that the Antichrist will invade Jerusalem and Judea in the middle of the seven years long Tribulation period. That means that the Turkish conquest of Egypt will happen just before the halfway point of the Tribulation period. The Tribulation period is designed by God to chasten Israel for its unbelief and it is also meant for judging the nations with wars, natural disasters, famines, and disease. The Rapture of Church age believers is designed to rescue Christians from this terrible time of trouble. Turkish President Erdogan wants his new landing ship to be ready in four years. That means that the seven years long Tribulation period could begin in six months! If the Rapture happens before the Tribulation begins then the day of the Resurrection and Rapture must be very near.As you may know Turkish President Erdogan recently forced Turkish Prime Minister Davutoglu to resign. Davutoglu and Erdogan did not have big differences of opinion but Erdogan didn’t like the fact that Davutoglu had an opinion at all. Erdogan is quickly replacing Davutoglu with his long time ally and yes-man Binali Yildirim. Yildirim is a maritime engineer and has overseen many highway, railway, airport, and public infrastructure projects. As Turkey’s new Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will not offer any ideas of his own. Binali Yildirim will not oppose Erdogan at all. But Yildirim could be the right man to rapidly advance Turkey’s naval capabilities over the next few years.

Turkey President Erdogan is the Antichrist! He will conquer Syria and destroy Damascus. Then he will lead an invasion into northern Israel. Afterwards Turkey will conquer Egypt and even enter into Jerusalem. The Church is oblivious to the end time events that are happening right under their end time noses. It is High Time to Awake for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Egypt’s Evil President Morsi will be reinstated!

By Craig C. WhiteDo you remember Egypt’s terrible President Morsi? Mohamed Morsi was the Muslim Brotherhood candidate for president of Egypt. He was elected and became president of Egypt in June 2012. Morsi attempted to turn Egypt into a strict Islamist state. The Egyptian Army removed Morsi from office in July 2013. Well guess what? I think that evil President Morsi will return to power in Egypt!
According to Isaiah 19 Egypt will be led by a cruel leader. He will be in power before, during, and even after the seven year long Tribulation period.
Isaiah 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
Isaiah 19:4 above identifies Egypt’s terrible ruler in two different ways. He is called a cruel lord and he is also called a fierce king.
Since Isaiah gave Egypt’s rotten ruler two separate titles I have wondered if this verse was identifying two separate persons or if it was identifying only one person but describing him in two separate ways. Just so you know. There is no punctuation in the original Hebrew language.
I think that Isaiah has described one person who will serve as Egypt’s ruler on two separate occasions. President Morsi has already served as Egypt’s ruler once but I think that he will serve once more as Egypt’s fierce king.
The Bible tells us that Egypt will be conquered by the coming Antichrist. The Antichrist and his armies will rob Egypt of its treasures.
Dan 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
In case you didn’t already know, I think that the Bible identifies a Turkish Prime Minister or “primary governor” as the Antichrist. I think that that person is in fact newly elected President Erdogan who served as Prime Minister of Turkey for twelve years. President Erdogan is an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood just as is Mohamed Morsi. Turkish President Erdogan has already vowed to reinstate President Morsi in Egypt.
During the first half of the Tribulation period Turkish President Erdogan will lead the Turkish army along with Al-Qaeda from Libya and Sudan into Egypt. Erdogan will conquer Egypt and install Muslim Brotherhood leadership there. Mohamed Morsi will once again serve as Egypt’s terrible ruler!
Last week Muslim Brotherhood supported Al-Qaeda rebels from Libya together with Al-Qaeda rebels from northern Iraq (ISIS) conducted a major offensive on Egypt’s Sphinx and Pyramids. According to these Islamist terrorists, anything that doesn’t glorify their brand of Islam must be destroyed. Folks are now wondering if Egypt’s historic treasures and landmarks could possibly one day be destroyed. One day soon Turkish President Erdogan will conquer Egypt and rob it of its treasure. Then under Egypt’s reinstated fierce king Mohamed Morsi the Sphinx and the Pyramids will certainly be devastated.

Shalom, I am a messianic Judean Jewish Christian. I would like you to send me concrete scriptural proof of what you are actually saying here please being appreciated, as I am quite sure, if you are right, then such knowledge should be broadcast throughout all Christian circles and especially my people Y’israel as a matter of urgency.

Shalom Dr. Cromwell. Thank you for your comment. Yes of course you are correct. The message of the coming Turkish led invasion into Judea should be broadcast throughout the world and especially in Judea. As a matter of fact Turkey is about to lead three separate invasions into Israel beginning with a Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights with the forces that are now fighting in Syria. This invasion is described in Ezekiel chapter 38. According to Ezekiel chapter 38 God will cause these armies to retreat using torrential rain, disease, and infighting. Ezekiel 38:5 says that Turkey will lead Iran, Libya, and Sudan into Israel. All of these nations are already fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria today!
By the way I think that Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes a Turkish invasion into northwestern Syria along with the destruction of Damascus that happens just before Turkey invades northern Israel. The conquest of Syria and the following invasion into northern Israel are modeled in the Assyrian invasions of Syria and northern Israel in 734 BC.

Turkish President Erdogan is certainly the Antichrist! He is the “chief prince” or primary governor among the provinces of Turkey that is described in Ezekiel 38:1-3 as well as in Ezekiel chapter 39. Ezekiel describes two other separate invasions into Israel than the Judean ambush.

Residue of a Remnant
Zechariah 14:2

The English Bible uses the word “remnant”. Remnant most interestingly refers to a small part that is left of the whole nation of Israel after God judges them.
One Hebrew word for “remnant” is:
sheh-ay-reeth’
a remainder or residual (surviving, final) portion: – that had escaped, be left, posterity, remain (-der), remnant, residue, rest.Here is “remnant” used in a verse.
2Ch 30:6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
This is talking about the Jews who did not get captured by the Assyrian kings around 700 BC. A few Jews were still left in the land of Israel.
There is an even more interesting word used in the English Bible, “Residue”! Residue can mean an even smaller group of people!

Properly an overhanging, that is, (by implication) an excess, superiority, remainder; also a small rope (as hanging free): – + abundant, cord, exceeding, excellency (-ent), what they leave, that hath left, plentifully, remnant, residue, rest, string, with.Here is “residue” used in a verse.
Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
In the verse above “residue” refers to the few inhabitants of Jerusalem who do not flee but stay behind in the city and are hunkered on Mt. Zion until the end of the Tribulation.
Here are the two words used together in the same verse.
Zephaniah 2:9 Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
In the verse above “the residue of my people” are the people of Judea who have fled into the Jordanian wilderness during the Tribulation. When Jesus returns they will plunder Jordan.
Also in the verse above “the remnant of my people” includes every Jew who has survived the Tribulation!
The residue is only part of the remnant.
The events of the coming seven year Tribulation period crescendo into a pinnacle of trial for the nation of Israel, and also into a moment in time when the trials are over and redemption comes to Israel at last and forever. Jesus Christ will return to save Israel from its enemies.
At the epicenter of this moment between trouble and salvation sits a small band of Jews waiting for their redeemer on Mt. Zion in Jerusalem. They are the last Jews in Jerusalem. They are the residue of Jerusalem in Zechariah 14:2.
You probably haven’t thought about it much but understanding that moment in time when the residue of Jerusalem is rescued by Jesus Christ will illuminate much of what Jesus said in the Gospels.
In the English Bible several Hebrew words are translated as “remnant” and “residue”. Sometimes the English word for remnant and residue are the same Hebrew word.

Turkey invades Syria then Israel

Ezekiel chapter 38 foretells an end time invasion into Israel. This invasion is forming now although it is being widely overlooked. Every nation mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 38 is now fighting in Syria. Ezekiel’s battle has been forming before our eyes for the past five years but we still don’t see it! This invasion is no longer hidden! Turkey has 54,000 troops on the Syrian border. Turkey will soon lead an invasion into Syria and destroy its capital city of Damascus. But even more alarming is that Turkey will then lead the forces that are fighting in Syria into Israel. Turkey will lead Iran, Sudan, and Libya in an invasion into Israel! Ezekiel identifies these players.
Christians have wondered for millennia; who are the nations described in Ezekiel chapter 38? Well today it has become perfectly clear! We can now identify every nation that Ezekiel described and we can see them in action. Why should you care? Because Ezekiel chapter 38 describes the MAJOR pre-Tribulation event. Plus it is already underway! Here is a quick highlight of the national identities and their current roles in Ezekiel’s prophecy. In Ezekiel chapter 38 we are immediately introduced to the key player in the end time invasion into Israel. That is Gog, the land of Magog. Gog is not Russia! Gog is Turkey! Magog is Turkey’s ruler! Magog is the chief prince among his brothers Meshech and Tubal. Magog, Meshech, and Tubal all settled Asia Minor or what is known as Turkey today! They were the first Princes of Turkey! Each one was set over a province! Today Magog is the primary governor (chief prince) or Prime Minister of Turkey! Turkish President Erdogan has been President since December 2014 but Erdogan was Prime Minister for twelve years before that.
Ezekiel 38:1-2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal
Next we are introduced to the armed forces that will join Turkey in an invasion into Israel! Turkey will be joined by Iran, Sudan, and Libya! Persia is the ancient name of Iran. The word translated as Ethiopia in the verse below is the Hebrew word “Cush”. Cush was one of Noah’s grandsons. Cush settled the land south of Egypt. Sudan is the major nation that is located just south of Egypt today. Ethiopia is south of Sudan. Cush may have settled in the entire land area of today’s Sudan and Ethiopia, but the major land area belongs to Sudan!
Ezekiel 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
All of these nations will invade Israel together! So if we were to see all of these nations amassed along Israel’s border then we would be alerted to the start of this war! Right? Well my friends, all of these armies are in fact amassed just north of Israel today!!! They are the major forces that have been fighting in Syria for the past five years!!! Al-Qaeda rebels from Libya make up the majority of the “Free Syrian Army” fighting against Syrian President Bashar Assad and the Syrian Army! Hezbollah trained fighters from Iran and South Sudan are also in Syria fighting against the “Free Syrian Army”! Also some North Sudanese rebels have joined various Al-Qaeda groups fighting against the Syrian Army.
There are a couple of other nations mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 38 that are also fighting in Syria today. Al-Qaeda fighters from Saudi Arabia are fighting against the Assad regime in Syria. Saudi Arabia is easily identified as Sheba and Dedan in Ezekiel 38:13.
Ezekiel 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
The merchants of Tarshish are a little harder to identify. But let’s try. In Isaiah 23:6 below there is an invasion coming upon the island seaport of Tyre. Tyre was in today’s Lebanon. As a matter of fact there is still a major city named Tyre (or Sur) on Lebanon’s Mediterranean mainland. In Isaiah 23:6 the residents of the mainland city of Tyre are instructed to pass over into the island fortress of Tarshish. They are fleeing to the safety of the island fortress. It is very possible that Tarshish was the name of the island fortress located just to the west of the ancient seaport city of Tyre. I think that The merchants of Tarshish represent the nation of Lebanon. Lebanon is acting as a support base for Hezbollah in the Syrian war.
Isa 23:6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
Ezekiel chapter 38 tells us that Turkey will lead Iran, Sudan, and Libya into Israel. The Turkish army is now conveniently amassed on the Syrian border. Iran, Sudan, and Libya are all fighting inside of the nation of Syria. Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are also participating in the Syrian war. The battle of Gog and Magog described in Ezekiel chapter 38 has been gathering for the past five years!!!
For your information: Ezekiel chapter 39 describes another Turkish led battle. Ezekiel chapter 39 describes the battle of Armageddon that happens at the end of the coming Great Tribulation period. But Ezekiel chapter 38 is talking about the Turkish led invasion that will happen very soon! Are you aware that this preeminent pre-Tribulation Bible prophecy is forming now? Does your Pastor know? Soon Turkish forces will Invade Syria and destroy Damascus as prophesied in Isaiah 17:1 and Jeremiah 49:24-27. Turkey will be joined by the forces that are now fighting inside of Syria. From Damascus these armies will then turn south a few miles into the land of Israel.
