The complete guide to Syria in end time Bible Prophecy
The complete guide to Syria in end time Bible Prophecy
Paperback and Kindle eBook on amazon
By Craig C. White
The fuse has been burning in Syria for twelve years. Now the powder keg is about to explode! Isaiah 17 predicts the destruction of Damascus, Syria.
Isa 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Now more than ever it is important for Christians to be alert to the Bible prophecy that is unfolding in Syria. For that reason I have edited and compiled all of my commentaries about Syria into this one book. These commentaries appear throughout several of my other books. This book contains everything that you need to know about Syria in Bible prophecy as you watch events unfold in the coming days.
The city of Damascus is the capital of Syria. It is a large prosperous city with modern amenities and an ancient history. Damascus is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It was founded by the Aramaeans over four thousand years ago, and was inhabited two thousand years before that. Damascus is a living depiction of human history. Today Damascus is dying.
According to Old Testament prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah; Damascus, Syria will be destroyed. I think that the Bible tells us that Turkey will enter Syria and destroy Damascus. This could be the prophetic event that puts the end time into high gear!
Syria has been fighting for the past twelve years, in the midst of a hostile takeover by outside forces. During that time Damascus has suffered some damage, but has been mostly spared. Now Turkey has amassed 54,000 soldiers on the Syrian border. Now Turkish President Erdogan has vowed to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Syria’s capital city of Damascus. Now Turkey has acquired world wide support for their invasion into Syria.

Whirlwind on the Golan Heights
Whirlwind on the Golan Heights
By Craig C. White
Dateline Dec 1, 2016: It’s being reported that a thick cloud covered the Syrian side of the Golan Heights where several Islamic factions have gathered against Israeli IDF. The Prophet Nahum says that the clouds are the dust of God’s feet. It could be that Jesus Christ is drawing a line in the sand.
Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
I expect the Battle of Gog and Magog to take place on the Golan Heights of Israel shortly. Turkey will lead Iran, Libya, and Sudan into Israel. The Turkish Army has already entered northwestern Syria although I expect them to enter in force soon. Iran, Libya, and Sudan are already fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria.
I expect the Battle of Gog and Magog as described in Ezekiel chapter 38 to happen after Turkey destroys Damascus. God will fight against them with torrential rain, disease, and infighting.
Read my commentary titled Magog Made Easy!
By the way, the book of Nahum is all about the flooding and destruction of the ancient city of Nineveh. Today Nineveh is Mosul in northern Iraq. Mosul is the hometown and headquarters of ISIS. Since Nahum mentions God’s whirlwind moving across the Golan Heights and ending up in Mosul; perhaps God will employ a great storm to breach the Mosul dam and destroy ISIS in Mosul.
By the way, the path across the Golan Heights and eastward to Mosul is the same path that Jonah took on his way to Nineveh. It may be that Jesus will also take this path when he returns to stop the Turkish led invasion into northern Israel and also to gather his Church at the Rapture!

Patterns and Paths map of five end time battles
Patterns and Paths Map
of five end time battles
By Craig C. White
God is pretty smart. He wants to teach us about end time events. So God has patterned world history to reflect events that we can now expect to see happen.
I want to point out five paths that are designated by arrows and dots on the Patterns and Paths map. They represent the five major end time battles that will be fought over Israel.
First look at the the black dots; they represent the path that the Turkish Army will follow on their way to destroy Damascus and then invade Israel. Turkey will begin their warpath by harassing the northwestern Syria cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat. The Turkish Army is amassing near Hamah and Tell Rifaat now. Jeremiah 49:23-27 is all about the Turkish Army as they march from northwestern Syria southward to destroy Damascus. In Jeremiah 49:23 below, the city of Tell Rifaat is called Arpad. Read my commentary titled The nations are disquieted over Syria.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
After Turkey destroys Damascus they will then lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel. Ezekiel chapter 38 describes Turkey as they lead Iran, Sudan, and Libya in an invasion into Israel. In the next verse Persia is called Iran today and the Hebrew word that is translated as “Ethiopia” is really the name Cush. Cush settled in the land south of Egypt. The major nation that is located south of Egypt today is Sudan.
Ezekiel 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
This is known as the battle of Gog and Magog. Ezekiel chapter 39 describes another battle called Gog and Magog. That battle is the same as the battle of Armageddon and happens at the end of the Tribulation. But every nation that is listed in Ezekiel chapter 38 is now fighting in Syria. So we can expect the first battle of Gog and Magog to happen after Turkey destroys Damascus. Read my commentary titled Magog Made Easy!
The Turkish conquest of Syria and the following invasion into northern Israel follows along the same path as the Assyrian conquest of Syria and subsequent invasion of northern Israel in 734 BC. The Assyrian attack is a model for the Turkish attack that is now forming in Syria!
Next let’s talk about the path represented by the white dots. After Turkey destroys Damascus then I think that they will lead the forces that are fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel. The Golan Heights are located just thirty miles south of Damascus.
Nahum 1:4 describes Jesus Christ as he passes over the Golan Heights. As he passes he will burn the ground with a fiery heat.
Nahum 1:4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
The book of Nahum is mostly about the destruction and flooding of ancient Nineveh. Today Nineveh is called Mosul in northern Iraq. Mosul is the hometown and headquarters of ISIS. I think that when the Turkish Army reaches the Golan Heights that then Jesus will return in the air to turn back the armies that Turkey has led into northern Israel. Next Jesus will travel to Mosul to flood the city and judge the ISIS fighters that have gathered there for one last rebellion. Read my commentary titled Jesus will fight on the Golan Heights.
This is the same path that Jonah took to Nineveh. Jesus promised the religious leaders of his day that he would give them the sign of Jonah (Mat 12:39). So the coming of Jesus in the air and the flooding of Mosul may be the one sign to Israel before their tribulation begins that Jesus is truly their Messiah. As we will see, the Resurrection and Rapture of gentile believers may also be part of the sign of Jonah!
Nahum also says that Jesus will save those people who trust in him.
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
So Jesus is coming in the air in heat and fury. He will pass over the Golan Heights and then travel to Mosul in northern Iraq. I think that while Jesus dispenses his wrath against Israel’s enemies he will also gather Christians in the Resurrection and Rapture. Yes that’s what I said. The Rapture will happen when the Turkish Army reaches the Golan heights of Israel! They are in Syria now and headed towards Damascus and then on to Israel.
Now on to the purple path. During the middle of the seven year long Tribulation period the armies of the Antichrist will launch a surprise attack on Jerusalem and Judea. The attack will come from Egypt. Read my commentary titled Before the Great Tribulation – The Antichrist will invade Egypt then Israel.
In Matthew chapter 24 the residents of Jerusalem and Judea are instructed to watch for the coming invasion and to flee into the desert wilderness east of Jerusalem. If the residents of Judea do not watch then they will be killed or be taken away suddenly just like the wicked inhabitants of the earth were taken away by Noah’s flood. Read my commentary titled Matthew 24.
Guess what; the mid-Tribulation attack on Jerusalem and Judea is also patterned for us in ancient history. In 167 BC the army of Antiochus Epiphanes suddenly attacked Jerusalem from Egypt. The attack was devastating with many Jews being killed. Antiochus instructed his soldiers to take every other Jew away captive as slaves. In that way one Jew was taken and the other Jew was left in Jerusalem. Matthew chapter 24 tells us that the same thing will happen when the Antichrist invades Jerusalem and Judea beginning three and one half years of Jerusalem’s great tribulation.
Matthew 24:40-41 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Read my commentary titled One shall be taken and the other left.
Now let’s talk about the path that is represented by the yellow dots on our map. I think that this is the path that Jesus will follow when he returns at his second coming. This is the same path that Israel took when they left Egypt. If you will remember, Israel was led by a pillar of cloud and fire. So God himself determined Israel’s route of travel. This foretold Jesus Christ’s own route when he returns to defeat Israel’s enemies leading up to the battle of Armageddon. Read my commentary titled Revelation Wrath Path.
I would like to point out that the Psalm 83 war will take place in Jordan at the end of the Tribulation period. This is part of Jesus Christ’s yellow path of vengeance. Jesus will rescue the Jewish refugees living in Jordan before he enters Jerusalem. Psalm 83 is a cry for God’s help by the Jews who have fled from Judea (the region around Jerusalem) when they saw the armies of the Antichrist approaching Jerusalem. The Bible says that the residents of Judea must flee when they see a sign in the temple called the abomination of desolation.
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
The residents of Judea will take refuge in the Moab region of Jordan for three and one half years. At the end of that time Jordan, Lebanon, and northern Iraq will conspire together to finally eliminate the last remaining enclave of Jews. Read my commentary titled Psalm 83 War.
Finally the Battle of Armageddon is represented by one blue arrow on the Patterns and Paths map. The arrow begins in the valley of Megiddo (that’s what Armageddon means) in northern Israel and ends near the Dead Sea. Revelation says that the blood of Israel’s enemies will flow for this entire length.
Revelation 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
You see, at his second coming Jesus will first save the Jewish refugees living in Jordan (spoken of in Psalm 83) and then he will save Jerusalem. Jesus will then travel outside of the city of Jerusalem to trample Israel’s enemies like grapes.
Here is the prayer of the Jewish refugees living in Jordan during the second half of the Tribulation. They are asking God to defeat Israel’s enemies just like Gideon did long ago. The following verses describe the armies that were destroyed by the Israeli Army while led by Gideon (Judges 4 & 8). The bloodshed of these battles started in the valley of Megiddo and ended in western Jordan near the Dead Sea.
Psalm 83:9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. 13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. 14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; 15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
The Psalm 83 refugees are asking God to defeat Israel’s enemies beginning in the valley of Megiddo. Jesus Christ will answer their prayer personally as he tramples out the vintage of the blood of his enemies outside of the city of Jerusalem from Megiddo to the Dead Sea! This passage proves that the Psalm 83 rescue of Judean refugees in Jordan will happen just before the battle of Armageddon.
Turkey is in position to begin their march to Damascus and then on to the Golan Heights. I think that Jesus will return to cause them to retreat. At that time Jesus will also collect his Church. There is a terrible time coming upon Israel and also upon all the world! Jesus is coming soon!

The nations are disquieted over Syria

The nations are disquieted over Syria
verse by verse through Jeremiah 49:23-27
By Craig C. White
According to the Prophet Jeremiah the destruction of Damascus begins at Hamah and Arpad. The Turkish Army is amassed near Hamah and Arpad right now!
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Jeremiah 49:23-27 goes on to say that after the Syrian towns of Hamah and Arpad hear reports of a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Today the Syrian town of Apad is called Tell Rifaat.
The Prophet Jeremiah asks the question “How is Damascus not there?”. Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city in the world. One day it will no longer exist.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
What is Jeremiah telling us? Obviously this prophecy is concerning Damascus, Syria. In the verse above, Jeremiah mentions two cities. Hamath and Arpad (or modern day Tell Rifaat) are both located in northwestern Syria near the Turkish border. Today Hamah is Syria’s fifth largest city.. Hamah is further south but still close to the Turkish border. Arpad is modern day Tell Rifaat located about 25 miles north of Aleppo and about 20 miles south of the Turkish border. These cities are located along the path of an invasion launched from Turkey headed towards Damascus.
According to Jeremiah 49:23 the people of northwestern Syria will hear intelligence reports that the Turkish army is about to invade Syria. The army’s target is Damascus and they are coming through their cities! The people of northwestern Syria are terrified. Their hearts faint with fear
There is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. The sea in Bible prophecy can refer to the Mediterranean Sea when it is accompanied with the definite article “the”. The sea can also refer to the nations. There is no article used here in the original Hebrew. I think that Jeremiah is saying that the nations will have great anxiety over the coming Turkish invasion into Syria. The Hebrew word translated sorrow means anxiety, fearfulness, carefulness, or heaviness.
So the nations will be very nervous concerning the coming Turkish invasion into Syria. The Turkish army’s goal is the destruction of Damascus. The English says it well here. The nations will not be able to be still. The Hebrew word translated quiet is defined below. The nations of the world will not be able to be at rest. They are already feeling uneasy concerning Syria.
quiet – shâqat, shaw-kat’
A primitive root; to repose (usually figuratively): – appease, idleness, (at, be at, be in, give) quiet (-ness), (be at, be in, give, have, take) rest, settle, be still.
Jeremiah 49:24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
Damascus is waxed feeble. This is the idea of failing in your old age. Damascus is about to die. Damascus turneth herself to flee. This could refer to the city preparing to relinquish its life and it could also refer to the cities inhabitants as they attempt to escape.
The Hebrew word translated fear means to tremble with terror. Anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail; literally Damascus is feeling a localized tightness like a woman about to give birth.
Jeremiah 49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
Two different Hebrew words for city are used in the verse above. The city of praise is a fortified city that has been celebrated in song. When God says “how is the city not left” he could be communicating his astonishment that even after a terrible assault on Damascus, the city has still not surrendered. When God calls Damascus “the city of my joy!” he is specifically saying that he delights in the cities old buildings. So we are looking for the destruction of the old part of the city. The neighborhood of “Old Damascus” is the capital of Syria. Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city on earth. It was founded by the Aramaeans over four thousand years ago, and was inhabited two thousand years before that. Damascus is a living depiction of human history.
Jeremiah 49:26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
In this verse the young men are contrasted to the men of war. The men of war obviously represent the Syrian Army. Lately Syrian citizens have joined Assad and the Syrian Army to help defend their country. The Syrian National Defense Force is a newly formed civilian guard. I think that the Syrian National Defense Force could be represented by the young men in this verse.
It sounds like the young men of Damascus will stay behind to defend the city. Perhaps they will be the first line of defense. The young men of Damascus will die in its streets. The Syrian Army will be bunkered in Damascus. When God says that all the men of war shall be cut off he means that every Syrian soldier will die defending Damascus.. Jeremiah isn’t necessarily saying that this assault on Damascus will last only one day. That day refers to the entire duration be it one day or longer.
Jeremiah 49:27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
The phrase “kindle a fire” leads many to imagine a nuclear explosion but that is not what is pictured here. The terminology “kindle a fire” is used in several other Bible passages. The terminology “kindle a fire” mean that God will send an army against a city or a nation. I think that God will send the Turkish army against Damascus.
Many so called Bible scholars claim that the destruction of Damascus has already taken place. They say that the Assyrian conquest of Damascus in 734 BC fulfills the Damascus prophecy. Well Damascus was conquered by Assyria in 734 BC and several cities around Damascus were burned with fire but Damascus has never been completely destroyed.
Jeremiah was a prophet around 600 BC. Jeremiah gave his prophecy one hundred years after Assyria conquered Damascus. So the Assyrian conquest of Damascus can not possibly fulfill Jeremiah’s prophecy. The Assyrians conquered Damascus in 734 BC. I think that Jeremiah is prophesying about an invasion of Damascus that is forming now.
In Jeremiah 49:27, The palaces of Benhadad refer to the ancient thrones of Syrian Kings in Damascus. Like the ancient invasion, this future invasion will also destroy Syria’s seat of government in the neighborhood of Old Damascus.
So the Turkish army will march down from Syria’s northwestern border terrorizing cities along the way. Their goal is the destruction of Damascus. The nations of the world will be in a tumult. They will not be able to calm down. Damascus will prepare to die. The people will flee and the young men and army will fight to the death never surrendering. The oldest city on earth will be destroyed along with its historical buildings. Jeremiah describes a city under siege not a city obliterated by a single bomb.

Psalm 83 War – From Judah to Jordan to Jesus

Psalm 83 War
Hidden in a secret place!
By Craig C. White
https://www.spreaker.com/embed/player/standard?episode_id=8084463&autoplay=false
It is very popular these days to say that the Psalm 83 war will happen soon. Well it will happen pretty soon, but not before the Rapture of the Church, and not before the Great Tribulation. It will happen during the Great Tribulation. Psalm 83 is short and simple. The key to understanding it is to recognize who “thy hidden ones” are in verse 3. They are Jews from Judea (region south of Jerusalem) who have fled into the wilderness during the second half of the Great Tribulation. The wilderness is the mountainous region of Jordan east of Jerusalem.
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Psalm 83 is a request for God’s help. It probably represents the Judean refugee’s call for defense at the end of the Tribulation. Jesus Christ will come through Jordan defeating Israel’s enemies (read Revelation Wrath Path). In the verse below, Edom and Bozrah are in todays Jordan.
Isa 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
Psalm 83 has four sections; God, be not still, Counsel Council, List of enemies, and Do unto others as you have done unto them before!
God, be not still!
Psalm 83:1 A Song or Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
The word not is used three times in the opening verse of Psalm 83. The Hebrew word translated not here means not!
This is a prayer that God would not allow the people of Israel to be killed by their enemies. Also that God would not fail to devise an offense against Israel’s enemies. And that God would not be idle while Israel’s enemies attack. In other words, Lord now is the time for action!
Psalm 83:2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Israel’s enemies hate Israel. The enemies of Israel are the adversaries of God. They are making a loud sound. They are enraged. They are screaming to make war on the Judean refugees. They hate God personally. The word translated head in the verse above is the Hebrew word rosh. Rosh means chief or primary. It probably refers to a leader. Israel’s enemies have magnified their leader. They think that they can fight against God because their ruler is supreme!
Counsel Council
Psalm 83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
God’s enemies have assembled together in a secret meeting and have devised a cunning plan against the nation of Israel to utterly destroy them. They have deliberated together to kill God’s “hidden ones”.
In verse 3 above, the term “hidden ones” means to hide by covering over. The Judean refugees are protected in mountainous dens in Jordan. They are kept in a secret place until Jesus Christ returns!
In Isaiah 16 below, God allows the Jews escaping Judah to take refuge in Moab which is in today’s Jordan east of the Dead Sea. This verse is applied to the time just before Jesus Christ takes his place on his throne in Jerusalem.
Isa 16:3-5 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. 4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. 5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
In the middle of the Great Tribulation Jews in Judea will flee to the mountains or wilderness. Some of the people of Judea (region around Jerusalem) will flee to the mountains where God will sustain them for three and a half years (Mat 24:15-16, Luke 21:21-22). I think that this place is on the east side of the Jordan River near Jericho and Mt. Nebo, where Israel entered the land after the exodus. It is also the place where ravens fed Elijah as he hid (1Ki 17:3). It is also the place where King David and his men fled out of Jerusalem from Absalom his son when he took over the kingdom of Israel (2Sa 17:22).
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Note: In the verse above “Wings of a great eagle” refers to God’s supernatural help given to Israel in time of flight. This idiom is applied to Israel during the exodus in Exo 19:4. It is also applied to Israel’s deliverance from Jerusalem at the end of the Great Tribulation in Isa 40:31. It is applied here to the people in Judea just before Israel is overrun with its enemies during the Great Tribulation period.
Below; Zechariah tells us that Jesus will save “the tents of Judah” before he saves the city of Jerusalem!
Zec 12:7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
It may be that “the tents of Judah” (above) are those of Judea who fled to the Jordanian mountains. They have been living there for 3 ½ years protected by God.
Psalm 83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
During their meeting, Israel’s enemies plan to destroy the nation of Israel. They have deliberated together and all agree. They have made a pact with themselves. This is describing a Middle Eastern conference were a contract is written that all nations agree to. They will completely eradicate the nation of Israel.
List of enemies
Psalm 83:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
This list of Israel’s enemies is mostly describing the nation of Jordan. Edom is in today’s Jordan. Ishmaelites settled Saudi Arabia, but I don’t think that Saudi Arabia is represented here. Ishmaelites also settled in today’s southern Jordan. Hagarenes settled in today’s Jordan, There is a Gebal in Lebanon, but this Gebal is in today’s Jordan. Ammon settled in today’s Jordan, Amalek probably lived just west of today’s Jordan. The Philistines lived on Israel’s Mediterranean coast. I think they represent Lebanon here, along with Tyre. Assur is ancient Assyria. Today it is best represented by northern Iraq. So Lebanon and Iraq agree to help the children of Lot. Lot’s children were Moab and Ammon. Like I said before, they both settled in today’s Jordan.
Psalm 83 War Map
So Psalm 83 is describing a Jordanian conference where Lebanon and Iraq agree to help Jordan eliminate the Jewish refugees who have fled from southern Israel into the mountainous wilderness of western Jordan.
Do unto others as you have done unto them before!
The verses above describe armies destroyed by Israel while led by Gideon (Judges 4 & 8). The bloodshed of these battles starts in the valley of Megiddo and ends in western Jordan.
Psalm 83 describes a treaty to eliminate the Judean refugees. Jesus Christ will personally pour out his wrath on Jordan’s armies. He will save the Jewish people who are hiding in the mountainous region of western Jordan.
[important]The Psalm 83 war is not the next prophetic event on the end time calendar. The invasion of Syria’s northwestern cities and the Destruction of Damascus by Turkey is the next event to look for. After Turkey destroys Damascus then they will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into Israel. Read my commentaries The nations are disquieted over Syria and Magog Made Easy.[/important]

Fire of Judea
Fire of Judea
The Judean refugees will fight in Jerusalem
Zechariah 14:14
By Craig C. White
When Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation period he will vanquish Israel’s enemies alone. That is at least until he enters the land of Israel. Jesus will first rescue the Judean refuges that are hiding in Moab in western Jordan. Then along with Jesus, the Judeans will fight in Jerusalem!
In the verse below, the tents of Judah indicates that the Judeans inhabit the land in a temporary fashion. They are refugees in Jordan.
Zec 12:5-7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
Judea (or Judah) is the region around Jerusalem. Remember that the inhabitants of Judea were warned to flee to the mountains during the Great Tribulation. The mountains are located in the Jordanian wilderness east of Jerusalem. King David and Elijah took refuge there.
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Jesus will rescue the Judean refugees hiding in western Jordan. From there the Judeans will continue on with Jesus to fight in Jerusalem and also up along the coast of Israel through the land of the ancient Philistines. The Judean refuges will fight valiantly and regain their land.
Isaiah 63:3 below Jesus proclaims that he has trodden the winepress alone. That means that he has stomped Israel’s enemies like grapes all by himself. This verse specifically references the battle at Bozrah in Edom (southern Jordan). Jesus will fight alone until he destroys the armies that have gathered in Bozrah to wipe out the Judean refugees hiding just to the north in Moab. His garments are stained with the blood of the armies that would have killed the Judean refugees.
Isa 63:1-3 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
So at Edom Jesus will defeat the enemies of the Judean refugees (please read my commentary titled Psalm 83 War). Before Jesus enters Jerusalem he will “save the tents of Judah first”. The “the tents of Judah” are the Judean refugees who have fled to the mountains during the second 3 ½ years of the seven year Tribulation period.
Zec 12:7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
Jesus will continue with the Judean’s into the city of Jerusalem. The Judeans will fight in Jerusalem.
Zec 14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
The Judeans will fight courageously. They will be invigorated by the prospect of saving their brothers in Jerusalem. Jesus will give the Judeans great power to consume their enemies. He will make them into a consuming fire!
Zec 12:5-6 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
From Jerusalem Jesus will send the Judean refugees west into Gaza and up the coast of Israel to the cities of Ashkelon and Ekron. Jesus himself will continue north out of Jerusalem to the valley of Megiddo (Armageddon). In Amos 1:7 below, to send a fire means that Jesus will send a consuming army against Gaza and up the coast through the land of the ancient Philistines.
Amos 1:6-8 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom: 7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: 8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
The men of Judea will fight in Jerusalem and then to Gaza and up the coast of Israel. What sort of acts of valor will these men of Judea perform in their fight to regain Israel’s land? Well the Prophet Samuel records similar deeds performed by a few of King David’s mighty men. In many cases these men defended the same land that the men of Judea will defend in the future; namely the land of the ancient Philistines.
2Sam 23:8-23 These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. 9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: 10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. 11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory. 13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim. 14 And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. 15 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate! 16 And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD. 17 And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men. 18 And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three. 19 Was he not most honourable of three? therefore he was their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the first three. 20 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow: 21 And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and slew him with his own spear. 22 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men. 23 He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the first three. And David set him over his guard.
When Jesus returns to rescue Israel from their enemies the men of Judea will fight in Jerusalem. Jesus will then send the men of Judea to fight along Israel’s coastline. The same men that had been refugees in Moab during Jerusalem’s Great Tribulation will fight valiantly and deliver the land of the ancient Philistines back to Israel. Perhaps their deeds will also be written down. Perhaps these future men of valor will one day swap stories of daring deed with King David’s mighty men of valor.

Rabbi Yehudah Glick and the new temple
Rabbi Yehudah Glick and the new temple
The courtyard will be given to the nations
By Craig C. White
Temple activist Rabbi Yehudah Glick has just been appointed to the Israeli parliament known as the Knesset. Rabbi Glick is a leading figure in establishing of a new Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Glick wants all religions to worship together on the Temple Mount. Some in Israel say that this is Bible prophecy fulfilled. They may be right but not in the way that they think. The Bible says that there will be a Jewish temple in Jerusalem during the coming Tribulation period. Animal sacrifice will resume for a time but then the Antichrist will invade Jerusalem and end the sacrifices and defile the Temple. This begins a three and one half year period of terrible suffering in Jerusalem and Judea called Jerusalem’s great tribulation in Matthew 24:21.
The Prophet Daniel says that the Antichrist will make a seven year term treaty with Israel regarding temple sacrifice. In the middle of the seven years the Antichrist will stop the sacrifices.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The construction of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is a sign of impending doom for Israel. Rabbi Glick and his associates claim that a new temple will usher in an era of peace and prosperity for Israel. They reference Isaiah chapter 9 to make their claims of coming peace. This is what the verse says in The Israel Bible™.
“That the government may be increased, and of peace there be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts doth perform this.” Isaiah 9:6 (The Israel Bible™)
Unfortunately Rabbi Glick and the Jews have rejected the true meaning of this verse. They have edited Isaiah to serve their own desires. Isaiah identifies the birth of a divine Prince who will rule in Jerusalem forever. This ruler is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will return after the seven year Tribulation period in order to save Israel from Rabbi Glick’s folly. Here is Isaiah 9:6-7 from the King James Bible.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Like I said before the Antichrist will make a seven year agreement with Israel regarding temple sacrifice. So who is the Antichrist? Since 2009 Rabbi Glick has been working with Turkish government officials as well as Turkish religious leaders to gain Islam’s approval for the building of a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Glick told Turkey’s rulers that Jews and Muslims worship the same god and that the new temple would be open to all religions. Glick along with his Rabbi friends, as well as the Turkish Imams all agreed that a new temple in Jerusalem will usher in lasting peace and prosperity for Israel and an era of peace among all nations. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. He is the “chief prince” of Turkey mentioned in Ezekiel 38:2-3. Ezekiel chapter 38 describes Erdogan as he leads an invasion into northern Israel. On this occasion the God of Israel will turn back the Turkish led invaders. Lately Erdogan has threatened to take the Golan Heights away from Israel. Also Turkey and Israel have been struggling to finalize a reconciliation agreement since 2010. Perhaps the failed Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights is the event that finally causes Erdogan and Israel to conclude a peace agreement. Rabbi Yehudah Glick has arrived in the Knesset to ensure that a new temple is part of that agreement.
The Bible says that there will be a temple in Jerusalem during the Tribulation. Rabbi Yehudah Glick says that the temple will be open to all religions. The book of Revelation says that the courtyard of the temple will be trampled upon by the nations.
Revelation 11:1-2 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
This is the beginning stage of the tribulation period temple in Jerusalem and the seven year peace treaty among Erdogan and Israel. I think that the Church will be taken away before the Tribulation begins. We may not be here to see this seven year agreement signed. The Resurrection and Rapture, and the Tribulation are very near. It is High Time to Awake!

Psalm 83 War

Psalm 83 War
Kept in a secret place!
By Craig C. White
It is very popular these days to say that the Psalm 83 war will happen soon. Well it will happen pretty soon, but not before the Rapture of the Church, and not before the Great Tribulation of Israel. It will happen during Jerusalem’s Great Tribulation. Psalm 83 is short and simple. The key to understanding it is to recognize who “thy hidden ones” are in verse 3. “Thy hidden one” are the Jews from Judea (region south of Jerusalem) who have fled into the wilderness during the second half of the Tribulation period. The wilderness is the mountainous region of Judea and Jordan east of Jerusalem.
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
The Jews escaping Judea will take refuge in Jordan for three and one half years. At the end of that time Israel’s enemies will try to kill them. Psalm 83 is a request for God’s help. It represents the Judean refugee’s call for defense at the end of the Tribulation period. Jesus Christ will personally come through Jordan defeating Israel’s enemies (read Revelation Wrath Path).
Psalm 83 has four sections; God, be not still, Counsel Council, List of enemies, and Do unto others as you have done unto them before!

Treaty of Lausanne
Treaty of Lausanne
July 24th 2023
By Craig C. White
I think that today is a significant date in end time Bible prophecy. This is the 100 year anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne that ended the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire was a Turkish ruled Islamic Caliphate and was the last world empire on earth. Turkish President Erdogan has been working to revive this Caliphate by July 24th 2023. This revived Ottoman Empire is the world empire that will oppress Israel during the Tribulation period.
Revelation chapter 13 describes a seven headed beast that represents the seven past world empires. The last world empire (Ottoman Turk) was wounded in 1923 yet it is being revived during these last days. Yet more proof that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist.
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
The expiration of the treaty of Lausanne declares the healing of the Ottoman Empire. The Lausanne treaty doesn’t actually contain an expiration date but that hasn’t stopped Turkish President Erdogan from declaring the treaty finished. Furthermore most Turkish citizens believe that the treaty of Lausanne will expire on July 24th 2023.
The Treaty of Lausanne forced Turkey to renounce sovereignty over Cyprus, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, and Iraq among other things. For the past ten years Turkey has used the ending of the Lausanne treaty as an excuse to invade former Ottoman territory. Turkey invaded northern Iraq in order to take its oil. Turkey is drilling for oil in the Mediterranean Sea beyond Turkey’s maritime boundaries. Erdogan is demanding that northern Cypress be returned to Turkey. Erdogan has claimed eastern Greek Islands as Turkish territory. Turkey has invaded Syria and Libya. Erdogan has been working to rebuild his Neo-Ottoman Empire.
The Treaty of Lausanne also blocked Turkey from using the Bosphorus for military purposes and guaranteed open commercial shipping lanes through Turkey. If you aren’t familiar with the Bosphorus it is a canal that connects the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. The Bosphorus flows down the middle of Istanbul dividing Europe from Asia; East from West. This is the only shipping route available for Russian oil to reach the West. That means that Turkey has tremendous leverage over Russia. That also means that Turkey has tremendous leverage over Europe since it gets most of its oil from Russia.
Turkish President Erdogan has already been scheming for ways around the Bosphorus commercial shipping guarantee. He is digging a new canal alongside of the Bosphorus straight that would not be subject to any treaty constraints. It would be a simple matter to block the Bosphorus and force everyone to use Erdogan’s private canal. So you see, Erdogan holds a lot of leverage over Asia and Europe. He is using that leverage to rebuild his Islamic Empire.
Three years ago today Turkish President Erdogan sat on the floor of the Hagia Sophia Christian Cathedral in Istanbul and declared that Allah was to be worshipped above all things. In this way Erdogan revealed himself as being the Antichrist according to 2Thessalonians 2:4. Erdogan picked July 24th 2020 knowing that three years later the Ottoman genie would be uncorked. I think that July 24th 2023 will mark a significant increase in Neo-Ottoman aggression.
