The fuse has been burning in Syria for eight years. Now the powder keg is about to explode! Isaiah 17 predicts the destruction of Damascus, Syria.
Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Now more than ever it is important for Christians to be alert to the Bible prophecy that is unfolding in Syria. For that reason I have edited and compiled all of my commentaries about Syria into this one book. These commentaries appear throughout several of my other books. This book contains everything that you need to know about Syria in Bible prophecy as you watch events unfold in the coming days.
The city of Damascus is the capital of Syria. It is a large prosperous city with modern amenities and an ancient history. Damascus is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It was founded by the Aramaeans over four thousand years ago, and was inhabited two thousand years before that. Damascus is a living depiction of human history. Today Damascus is dying.
According to Old Testament prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah; Damascus, Syria will be destroyed. I think that the Bible tells us that Turkey will enter Syria and destroy Damascus. This could be the prophetic event that puts the end time into high gear!
Syria has been fighting for the past eight years, in the midst of a hostile takeover by outside forces. During that time Damascus has suffered some damage, but has been mostly spared. Now Turkey has amassed 400,000 soldiers on the Syrian border. Now Turkish President Erdogan has vowed to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Syria’s capital city of Damascus. Now Turkey has acquired world wide support for their invasion into Syria.

A Soul is like a Seed

Almonds photo credit Vassilis http://www.flickr.com/A Soul is like a Seed
It must open in order to produce new life.
By Craig C. White
A soul is like a seed. Or perhaps I should say that a seed is like a soul. I think that God created seeds to illustrate how life renews itself and how our own souls live and also all too often die. God gave the first living thing a seed!
Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
A seed is designed to produce new life. It has a hard outer shell and a center that is capable of becoming a whole new plant. Our souls are similar. Our hearts house and protect our spirit. Our spirits are capable of growing into something greater. Regrettably, most souls never yield new life. Jesus compared a person’s soul to a wheat seed.
John 12:24-25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
In order for a seed to grow it needs to open its outer shell. If it doesn’t open its shell then it cannot become anything more than a seed and it dies. In the same way, our hearts must open to God’s spirit in order to renew our life. If our hearts remain closed then our spirits cannot be renewed by the Holy Spirit of God.
Did you know that a seed opens from the inside? When conditions are right the embryo swells and breaks open the outer shell. Our hearts must also open from the inside. The Spirit of God is always outside of our hard hearts beckoning us. When we hear him we must push our shell apart in order to let him in.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
When you sow seeds into the ground you have expectations that they will grow back up out of the ground and produce new life and fruit. The seed will be gone but a new plant will grow in its place. If a seed represents a soul then the fleshy fruit represents our body. In the same way that a seed becomes a plant, our bodies will become something greater. If our bodies are sown into the ground they will be raised up again but they will be changed. Our bodies will be raised in much better condition. They will endure forever!
1Corinthians 15:42-44 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
A seed doesn’t just become another seed, but it becomes something much more. If our souls are germinated by God’s Spirit then we will also become something greater.
1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Because of sin our spirits cannot regenerate our bodies alone. We need God’s everlasting Spirit. Without God’s spirit our souls and bodies will wither and die. If our souls hold the Spirit of God, then even though our bodies die they will be made alive again!
Romans 8:10-11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Jesus’ own resurrection is proof that if we receive God’s Spirit in our souls then our bodies will also be made whole. Our body may wither and die but because our soul has been made alive by God’s everlasting Spirit, our body will also one day be renewed.
1Peter 1:23-25 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
If a person never receives the Spirit of God then he will never be renewed. He will be dead forever. As you can imagine, being dead forever is really bad. Unfortunately it’s even worse than that. When a plant is dead it is used for firewood to be burned. When a person is dead God also tosses him into the fire.
John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Just like the rain falls on every seed, God’s Spirit is offered to every heart. If a person hardens their heart to God’s Spirit, then their soul and body are cast into hell to be burned.
Hebrews 6:7-8 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
If the soul of a man resembles a seed, and man was also made in God’s image (Gen 1:26), then perhaps God is like a seed. Does that sound farfetched?
Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
In the verse below, the apostle John calls Jesus the Word. The Word was with God. The English word with is translated from the Greek word pros. Pros means to be facing or toward. Pros can be translated literally as being face to face. So the Word (Jesus) was face to face with God.
John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
If you have ever cracked open an almond you have noticed that the nut has two halves. Just as the two halves of a seed are face to face; Jesus was face to face with God. Jesus was very near to God. Jesus was God. You know, you might even say that God was a nut! But you probably shouldn’t say that in church!
A soul is the spiritual seed of a man. It can grow into something new or it can wither and die.
God has Great Expectations that he would know you!

Not a Kurdish ceasefire! Turkey will continue their conquest of Syria

Not a Kurdish ceasefire!
Turkey will continue their conquest of Syria
By Craig C. White
Oct 17, 2019: Today US Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reached a temporary ceasefire agreement with Turkish President Erdogan. Turkey has agreed to stop military operations in northeastern Syria for 120 hours. According to the terms of the ceasefire the Kurds must withdraw from northeastern Syria. This should save Kurdish lives but the US is essentially giving northeastern Syria to Turkey without a fight. The Kurds have not yet agreed.
You are probably tempted to mosey along your way since the announcement of a Turkish vs Kurds ceasefire. But immediately after the five hour long negotiations, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said it was a “pause in Turkey’s operation” and “not a ceasefire.”
So don’t go away yet.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
The Prophet Jeremiah says that when Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria hear evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Turkey has every intention of continuing their conquest of Syria. Turkey will attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat and then they will destroy Damascus. Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. It is High Time for Christian’s to pay close attention to the actions of Turkey. It is High Time to Awake!

Magog vs the overthrow of Jerusalem

Magog vs the overthrow of Jerusalem
Three separate invasions happen before, middle, and end of the Tribulation. Then one last invasion at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus.
By Craig C. White
Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 do not cover the mid-Tribulation invasion into Jerusalem by the Antichrist. The three battles of Gog and Magog (Eze 38, Eze 39, Rev 20:8) are all about Turkey as it leads the nations from the four corners of the old world into Israel.
The Ezekiel 38 invasion is repelled by God as he uses the forces of nature against Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan. It could be that Jesus will return in person to fight against these invaders and also to collect his Church. I think that the Ezekiel 38 invasion will happen in the Golan Heights. Iran, Libya, and Sudan are all fighting in the Golan Heights of Syria now.
The Ezekiel 39 invasion into Israel is the same as the battle of Armageddon that happens at the end of the Tribulation. Jesus will return at his second coming to defeat the armies that have gathered against Israel.
At the end of the millennial rule of Jesus Christ, Satan will be loosed from hell. Turkey will once again lead the nations against Israel. The mid-Tribulation invasion of Judea and Jerusalem by the Antichrist is one of the MAJOR themes that Jesus Christ taught in the Gospels. This invasion is modeled after the 167 BC invasion by Antiochus Epiphanies (Dan 8:9-11). Turkey along with Sudan and Libya will enter Israel from Egypt to go house to house taking every other Jew as prisoner. In that way, one shall be taken and the other left. Jerusalem will be overrun by its enemies for three and one half years.

Isaiah 17 predicts the destruction of Damascus

Isaiah 17 predicts the destruction of Damascus
Ruin, Respect, Rush, Rebuke
By Craig C. White
Isaiah 17 predicts the destruction of Damascus. There is a rule in Bible prophecy that some predictions apply to two separate events usually separated by a long span of time. I guess you could say that God instructs us to learn about future events by observing past events. Much of the prophecy in Isaiah 17 was fulfilled during the Assyrian invasion of Damascus in 734 BC. However, Damascus was not destroyed at that time. As a matter of fact it continued as an important city of the Assyrian Empire. So Isaiah’s dire predictions may also apply to future events.
Please allow me to defend the future fulfillment of the destruction of Damascus. Many Bible scholars claim that the destruction of Damascus has already taken place. They say that the Assyrian conquest of Damascus in 734 BC fulfills the Damascus prophecy. Well Damascus was conquered by Assyria in 734 BC and several cities around Damascus were burned with fire but Damascus has never been completely destroyed. These Bible teachers argue that the Assyrian conquest of Damascus happened shortly after Isaiah gave his prophecy about the destruction of Damascus.
Isaiah 17:1-2 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
It is true that the Assyrians conquered Damascus and wreaked havoc on surrounding towns shortly after Isaiah predicted the event. I am certain that much of Isaiah’s prophecy was fulfilled in 734 BC, BUT long after Isaiah gave his prophecy the Prophet Jeremiah also predicted the destruction of Damascus.
Jeremiah 49:23-25 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
Jeremiah was a prophet of Israel around 600 BC. Jeremiah gave his prophecy one hundred years after Assyria conquered Damascus in 734 BC. So the Assyrian conquest of Damascus can not possibly fulfill Jeremiah’s prophecy. The destruction of Damascus is yet future.
Damascus is under siege today. A lot of Bible buffs say that Damascus will be destroyed suddenly. They say that Damascus will probably be obliterated by a nuclear bomb. I don’t see that scenario communicated in scripture. Instead Jeremiah 49:27 says, “I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus”. This terminology is used several times in the Old Testament. To kindle a fire means that God will send an invading army against Damascus; just as God sent the Assyrian Army to invade Damascus in 734 BC.
God has certainly sent an army against Damascus today. The “Free Syrian Army” is fighting in Damascus against the Syrian Army. By the way, after Assyria invaded Damascus they turned south into Israel. It is possible that the armies invading Damascus today may also turn south to come against Israel. We are allowed to learn from past events!
Isaiah 17:1-2 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
There are several Middle Eastern cities called Aroer, but this Aroer most probably refers to the southern region of Syria. The cities of Aroer refer to Damascus and its nearby cities. The destruction described here may even spill over into nearby Lebanon.
Remember that these verses directly apply to the past Assyrian invasion of Damascus. After Assyria conquered Syria they then invaded northern Israel and carried away captives. In verse 3 below Ephraim refers to the northern kingdom of Israel. God is saying that Syria as well as northern Israel will be conquered and carried away captive so that not many people are left in their land. This is exactly what happened long ago. Assyria took Syrians captive into north western Jordan and Israel was carried away into today’s Iraq! The following verses definitely describe what happened long ago, but they also seem to describe a future ruin of Syria and northern Israel. During Israel’s future seven year “Tribulation” period only a few Jews will remain in the entire land of Israel (Zechariah 13-14). Perhaps Isaiah is telling us that Israel’s Time of trouble follows closely after the future Destruction of Damascus.
Isaiah 17:3-6 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. 6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.
Verse 6 above tells us that a few Jews will be left living in Israel. This is God’s way of telling us that a future restoration of the people and land of Israel is possible!
Guess what? Isaiah is finished talking about Damascus. In verse 7 below, God is describing the Jewish people’s response during a time of national distress. Perhaps this describes Israel’s behavior during the Tribulation period. Isaiah is saying that Israel will act respectfully toward God but will still suffer judgment. They will honor God outwardly and not look to false Gods. However, verse 10 explains that the Jews have not truly remembered their God. These verses may be explaining a period of national recognition of Old Testament laws and practices, such as renewed temple sacrifices during the Tribulation period (Dan 9:27).
Isaiah 17:7-11 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. 8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. 9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation. 10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips: 11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
Israel will suffer for their past and present neglect of God. Isaiah explains this in the verse below. Jesus quoted Isaiah in Matthew 15:8.
Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Now for something completely different! Isaiah 17:12-14 below describes a multi-nation invasion into Israel. These verses refer to an event that happened around 701 BC. Assyria’s king Sennacherib was in position to attack the city of Jerusalem. Overnight, God wiped out his army while they slept. Isaiah describes God’s intervention below.
Isa 37:36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
The following verses may also describe a future intervention. As a matter of fact I think they may describe two future interventions by God to save Israel!
The terminology of rushing waters and floods are often used in Bible prophecy to describe a large scale overwhelming military invasion.
Isaiah 17:12-14 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! 13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. 14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
Ezekiel 38 describes a multi-national invasion into Israel led by Turkey. God fights against these armies with rain, fire, and confusion. Every nation listed in Ezekiel chapter 38 is currently fighting in Syria. Isaiah may be telling us about a Turkish led invasion into Israel that soon follows the near time destruction of Damascus. Turkey will be joined by the Free Syrian Army made up mostly of Libyan soldiers, and Hezbollah militia from Iran and Sudan.
Isaiah 17:12-14 may also describe the judgment of the nations by Jesus Christ after his second coming at the end of the Tribulation period. However, let me say this. The judgment of the nations by Jesus is described in much more horrid terms, and on a much broader scale elsewhere in the Bible. I think that Isaiah chapter 17’s rebuke by God may be a more localized event. In other words, it may describe a battle and not the entire war.
Let’s remember that these events were all preceded by the destruction of Damascus, Syria. It is High Time to Awake to the Damascus alarm. Israel will soon suffer its seven year period of indignation. Jesus Christ will soon save Israel from peril. Before all that, Jesus Christ will come in the clouds to gather every Christian who has trusted him since his resurrection, body and soul!

Kurds make deal with Syrian government for protection

Kurds make deal with Syrian government for protection
By Craig C. White
The Kurds in northeastern Syria have agreed to hand over control of the border towns of Manbij and Kobane in exchange for military protection. The Syrian Army is on their way to fight military aggression by Turkey in northeastern Syria.
I am not a political analyst. I am a Bible prophecy teacher. So I don’t like giving political analysis but I am going to allow myself this one exception.
The Syrian Army is worn thin because of eight years of war. They can barely hold back the Turkish supported Al-Qaeda forces in Idlib province. Can you imagine if the Syrian Army attacks the Turkish Army in northeastern Syria? The Turkish Army will push them all the way back to Damascus!
The Prophet Jeremiah says that first the northwestern Syria towns of Hamah and Tell Rifaat will hear evil reports and then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Tell Rifaat is called Arpad in Jeremiah 49:23 below.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
The Syrian Army is in Hamah fighting against the Turkish supported rebels in nearby Idlib. Tell Rifaat is the last Kurdish controlled town in northwest Syria. The Turkish Army is already arrayed against both Hamah and Tell Rifaat. Watch Hamah and Tell Rifaat. Turkey’s march towards Damascus begins there.

Turkish backed rebels join forces with Al-Qaeda in northwestern Syria

Turkish backed rebels join forces with Al-Qaeda in northwestern Syria
By Craig C. White
May 26, 2019 IDLIB Syria: For many years now I have been warning people that Turkey will lead the rebel groups that are fighting in Syria against Damascus. I don’t know why this is so hard to believe because Turkey has always been the primary supporter of the myriad Al-Qaeda groups that are trying to topple the Assad government. This week several news stories have surfaced that proclaim Turkey’s direct military support and supplying of these anti-Assad forces.
The Bible is my source of insight regarding events in Syria. I think that the Prophet Jeremiah describes the Turkish led destruction of Damascus. According to Jeremiah northwestern Syria will first hear evil reports and then Damascus will be destroyed. These things are happening now.
In northwestern Syria all Al-Qaeda rebel groups are now following orders from Turkey. All Syrian opposition groups have been pushed into the Idlib province. Turkey has been charged with dismantling these forces but instead this week Turkish supported so-called moderate rebels have joined the radical Syrian Al-Qaeda faction Hay’et Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to fight against the Syrian Army in Hamah. Ezekiel chapter 38 describes Turkey as it leads these Al-Qaeda groups along with Iran into Israel.
This week it was also reported that Turkey is supplying anti-tank rockets to the Syria opposition forces. Now this really shouldn’t surprise anyone that Turkey is on the rebel’s side. But supplying heavy weapons to Al-Qaeda forces in Idlib is across purposes considering that Russia and Turkey made a deal to task Turkey with ridding these rebel forces from Idlib province.
It’s obvious that Turkey won’t be eliminating the Al-Qaeda forces in Idlib as promised. Instead Turkey will strengthen the opposition forces and then use them to attack the Syrian Army in Hamah, and also to attack the Kurds in Tell Rifaat.
All of this is predicted in the Bible. Jeremiah says that when Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.

70,000 Kurds flee to the south – Turkey is taking over Syria

70,000 Kurds flee to the south
Turkey is taking over Syria
By Craig C. White
The Turkish incursion into northeastern Syria is all about chasing away the Kurds and replacing them with Sunni refugees that will accept Turkish governance.
As the Turkish Army shells Kurdish villages some seventy thousand Kurdish residents are fleeing towards the south away from the war.
“it’s starting to look like a campaign of ethnic cleansing – forcing the local Kurdish population away from cities and villages. Instead they’re putting in place many Syrian Arabs who sought refuge in Turkey, people who don’t come from the region.”
Now here is the Biblical perspective. Jeremiah 49:23 describes the Turkish Army as they invade northwestern Syria. According to Jeremiah, Turkey will attack the Syrian Army in Hamah and also attack the Kurds in Tell Rifaat. The Turkish Army is arrayed against these cities right now. I expect that after the Turkish Army brushes away the Kurds from northeastern Syria then they will begin attacking northwestern Syria. Jeremiah says that when Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear evil reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.
A note about the Kurds: The Kurds are the ancient Medes. There are over 50,000,000 Kurds living in northern Iran, northern Iraq, northeastern Syria, and southeastern Turkey. The Kurds are the largest people group on earth who do not have their own nation. Don’t worry too much about the Kurds. The Bible does not predict their demise. As a matter of fact during the Tribulation, the Kurds may strengthen their alliance with Iran. Then together Iran and the Kurds may destroy Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Jesus will fight on the Golan Heights is #14 in Eschatology on Amazon!
I want to thank everybody who purchased my newest book Jesus will fight on the Golan Heights on Amazon. That really helps to keep my website online. Not only that, but it helps you to understand that Jesus is coming very soon.
The Turkish Army is amassed all along the northern Syria border. Their intentions to invade Syria have become an international crisis.
The Prophet Jeremiah says that when the two northwestern Syria cities of Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear of a coming invasion that the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. The Turkish Army now surrounds the Kurdish held town of Tell Rifaat. Turkish President Erdogan promised that if the Turkish Army accomplishes anything in Syria it will be to capture Tell Rifaat. The Syrian Army is in Hamah and are fighting against Turkish supported Al-Qaeda rebels in the neighboring Idlib province. The Turkish Army has reinforced its positions inside of Idlib. This week Turkey sent another rebel group into northern Hamah from the Turkish border. This week Turkey also sent the largest military buildup yet in the Syrian war to the northeastern Syria border. This threatens a direct conflict between Turkish forces and US and Kurdish troops. The Turkish Army is prepared for an all out assault on northern Syria. The Bible tells us that Turkey will attack northwestern Syria and then destroy Damascus.
But that’s not all. Damascus is located only thirty mile from Israel’s northern border. Ezekiel chapter 38 describes a Turkish led invasion into Israel. Every nation that is listed in Ezekiel chapter 38 is already fighting in Syria. So I expect that Turkey will invade the Golan Heights of northern Israel after they destroy Damascus.
But wait, there’s more! Nahum chapter 1 describes Jesus Christ coming in a fiery whirlwind to fight on the Golan Heights! So watch as the Turkish Army fights its way from northwestern Syria southward to Damascus and then further southwards to the Golan Heights of northern Israel. When the Turkish Army enters northern Israel Jesus will return to turn them back and also to gather his saints!
Jesus will fight on the Golan Heights is #14 in Eschatology on Amazon! But considering the fact that it explains when Jesus will return it should be #1.
