Forsake your house and just run!

The enemy is in the doorway!

    By Craig C. White

We are given a pattern of the preliminary events of Jerusalem’s Great Tribulation in ancient history. Around 170 BC a Greek king named Antiochus Epiphanes ransacked the temple in Jerusalem and then claimed that he was god. This will be repeated in the future by the man we call the Antichrist. In Matthew 24 this is called the abomination of desolation. When the Antichrist spoils the temple in Jerusalem it will be the sign that the people living around Jerusalem should flee!

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

What is the abomination of desolation? Before or during the seven year Tribulation period Israel will once again build another temple in Jerusalem. They will resume daily animal sacrifice there. The abomination of desolation is the stopping of the daily sacrifice. This was accomplished once before by Antiochus Epiphanes in 173 BC by deposing or murdering the rightful High Priest Onias III and replacing him with a false priest. Antiochus Epiphanes then began making sacrifices to himself as god (Dan 12:11). The future abomination of desolation will also be identified by the stopping of temple sacrifice. In the future the Antichrist will sit in the temple in Jerusalem and claim that he is a deity. This is the abomination of desolation.

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The region around Jerusalem is called Judea. When the residents of Judea see the temple being spoiled they are warned to forsake their homes and property and to flee into the mountains! They are warned not to go to their house to take anything with them! Not even their clothes! They are warned to flee immediately! I hope that they can heed this warning! I think that it would not be so easy to do. If any one of us saw impending disaster coming, our first instinct would be to save what we could. And to take what we need to survive like clothing and blankets. When Judea’s day of trouble comes, they will not have a minute to spare. Their enemies will already be in their doorway!

Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

The people of Judea are instructed to flee into the mountains. The mountains are the vast desolate mountainous region east of Jerusalem all the way into western Jordan.

Ancient history also gives us a window into the future scene of the day of Judea’s flight. This historical record of Antiochus Epiphanes’ attack of Jerusalem will once again be repeated on the day when Judea flees to the mountains. Notice that his soldiers were instructed to kill anybody hiding in their houses.

2 Maccabees 5:11–14 When these happenings were reported to the king, he thought that Judea was in revolt. Raging like a wild animal, he set out from Egypt and took Jerusalem by storm. He ordered his soldiers to cut down without mercy those whom they met and to slay those who took refuge in their houses. There was a massacre of young and old, a killing of women and children, a slaughter of virgins and infants. In the space of three days, eighty thousand were lost, forty thousand meeting a violent death, and the same number being sold into slavery.

Both the region of Judah and Jerusalem will be swarming with their enemies. If the people living around Jerusalem don’t forsake everything and immediately run for the hills then they will be captured and killed or taken as a slave to do hard labor in foreign countries (Zechariah 14:2).

Zechariah 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

In the city of Jerusalem half of its residents will be taken as slaves. Anyone trying to escape will be caught and killed (Isa 30:16). A few Jews will remain inside of the city to suffer horribly.

Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

When the Antichrist defiles the temple in Jerusalem it will be the sign that Judea should flee! When Judea’s day of trouble comes, they will not have a minute to spare. Their enemies will be hunting them door to door in their homes!

Very interesting to read and hard to stop. – Alexandria

Turkish President Erdogan is a man of his word

    Turkish Army targets Tell Rifaat

    By Craig C. White

One year ago the Kurdish YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces gained control over the northwestern Syrian town of Tell Rifaat. So what right! So, Tell Rifaat is identified in the Bible by its ancient name of Arpad. In Jeremiah 49:23 the northwestern Syria towns of Hamah and Arpad (Tell Rifaat) hear reports about a coming invasion. According to Jeremiah; after Hamah and Tell Rifaat hear these reports then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed.

Jeremiah 49:23-25 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

One year ago Kurdish forces took Tel Rifaat amid heavy shelling from the Turkish Army. Tell Rifaat is located just 10 miles from the Turkish border. At that time Turkish President Erdogan vowed to defend the Syrian town of Azaz situated between Tell Rifaat and the Turkish border. Today the Turkish Army has entered northwestern Syria and has full control over Azaz. Turkey continues to send heavy weaponry and troops into Azaz with the stated goal of taking Tell Rifaat. Turkish President Erdogan said that the Turkish Army could attack Tell Rifaat at any moment. By the way, Erdogan also admitted in a public speech that the sole reason why the Turkish Army has entered Syria is to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Damascus. The battle for Tell Rifaat is drawing the Turkish Army into Syria in greater force. We no longer need to wonder. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in Syria. The destruction of Damascus by the Turkish Army along with its partners the Al-Qaeda led Free Syrian Army is near!

One year ago Turkey launched its first military foray inside of Syria called “Euphrates Shield”. The Turkish Army along with Turkish supported Al-Qaeda rebels (Free Syrian Army) took control of the Syria border towns from Azaz (located just to the north of Aleppo) and eastward to Jarablus (located on the western side of the Euphrates River). The goal was to prevent a contiguous Kurdish State from being formed inside of Syria. One year latter Turkey now has plans to clear out the Kurds from the westward corridor beginning at Tell Riffat towards Afrin.

Meanwhile back to Jeremiah chapter 49. Jeremiah identifies the Syrian city of Hamah as well as the city of Tell Rifaat. Jeremiah doesn’t explicitly identify the nation (or nations) that attack these towns. The Turkish Army is mounting an attack on Tell Rifaat. That is clear to see. The Turkish Army is being helped by the Free Syrian Army. The Free Syrian Army is not Syrian. The Free Syrian Army is comprised of Sunni Muslim Al-Qaeda rebels from places like Libya and Sudan. The Syrian Al-Qaeda affiliate Tahrir al-Sham (formerly known as Al-Nusra) is fighting against the Syrian Army in Hamah. The Iraqi Al-Qaeda affiliate known as ISIS is also fighting against the Syrian Army in Hamah. Right now the Syrian Army seems to have gained the upper hand but fighting has intensified during August 2017. Turkey is supporting the Sunni Muslim Al-Qaeda rebel groups in Syria. Expect Turkey together with Al-Qaeda to attack Hamah and Tell-Rifaat in force and probably simultaneously.

Turkish President Erdogan said that Turkey would defend Azaz. Turkey now controls Azaz. Turkish President Erdogan said that the Turkish Army would take Tell Rifaat. Turkish heavy weapons and troops are now gathering in Azaz. The stated goal is the conquest of Tell Rifaat. Turkish President Erdogan said that the sole reason that the Turkish Army has entered Syria is to remove Syrian President Assad from power in Damascus. The Bible warns about an attack on Hamah and Tell Rifaat and also warns about the subsequent destruction of Damascus. The Bible is true. We should be on the lookout for these events. Turkish President Erdogan has proven to be a man of his word. We should believe him when he says that he intends to conquer Damascus.

    Welcome to the End Times

The Resurrection and Rapture, and the Tribulation are coming!

    By Craig C. White

Welcome to the end times. You’re late! Just to be certain that we are all aware; the Antichrist is now identifiable. The one sign that Jesus will give to Israel that proves he is truly their God is set to happen any day. Jesus Christ is about to come with a trumpet call to raise the dead and to take away Christians. Jesus is coming. Not in five years but very very soon!

There is a terrible time of trouble coming on the earth. The Bible calls this seven year long period the Tribulation. The Tribulation period was designed by God to chastise the nation of Israel for their rebellion. During the Tribulation Israel will be overrun by its enemies. Many Jews will be killed or captured, and many others will flee to the Jordanian wilderness for refuge. Jerusalem will suffer the worst. At the end of the Tribulation period Israel will remember that their God is faithful. The God of Israel will never leave them or forsake them. He will be their God forever.

The Tribulation period is also a time when God will judge the nations. It is a time of terrible wars, massive earthquakes, raging seas, drought, starvation, and tremendous numbers of deaths, great darkness, and much more. Luckily God has made a way for individuals to escape from suffering through the Tribulation period.

The Apostle Paul told the Christians in Greece that they would be taken away to heaven before the Tribulation period began on earth (2Thesalonians 2). This is known as the Rapture of the Church. Paul told the early Christians that the Tribulation couldn’t begin until Satan fell from heaven and then empowered a man on earth called the Antichrist. The Antichrist would rule over the next world empire and torment the nation of Israel. Paul said that before the Tribulation began the Antichrist would be revealed on earth. Before the Tribulation began believers in Jesus Christ would be taken away up into heaven. So the revealing of the Antichrist on earth could be the end times sign that the Rapture is about to happen!

How will we be able to identify the man known as the Antichrist? There are several specific things that the Bible tells us to look for. One of the most obvious signs is that he will claim to be God. Today I know of one world leader who is claiming to be God. Turkish President Erdogan along with his supporters has now officially declared that Erdogan is God. As a matter of fact if you drive down the streets of Turkey you will see giant banners inviting you to join in the celebration of Erdogan’s holy birthday! The Turkish people now sing a song that claims that “Erdogan always gets his power from Allah!” But wait, there are several more end times signs that Turkish President Erdogan fulfills!

In Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 we are told of two invasions into Israel led by the “chief prince” or primary governor of Turkey. President Erdogan fulfills that description. He was elected as President of Turkey in December 2014 and served as Prime Minister before that since 2002.

The Bible says that the Antichrist will appear with lying wonders. That means that he will appear to do miracles but they won’t be legitimate. The Bible also tells us about an image that speaks. Erdogan recently gave a speech to his supporters as a nine foot tall hologram. No kidding.

The Antichrist will rule over the next World Empire and attack Jerusalem. Erdogan has vowed to do both of these things. His supporters say that Turkey is the only legitimate head of the next Islamic Caliphate.

Another thing that the Antichrist will do is to invade Syria and destroy its capital city of Damascus. He will then lead his troops into Israel. Erdogan has already vowed to overthrow Syrian President Assad in Damascus. Also every nation that Ezekiel 38:5 says will invade Israel is now fighting in Syria! I don’t know if these invasions will happen before the Rapture or before the Tribulation but if we do see Turkey invade Syria then we ought to be absolutely certain that Erdogan is the Antichrist. And if he is indeed the Antichrist then we can be certain that the Rapture and the Tribulation are about to happen!

During the Tribulation God will raise up a rotten ruler in Israel. The Prophet Zechariah calls him the idol shepherd. We have all probably been comforted by the reelection of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but I am afraid that Netanyahu will not hold onto his authority for very long. World powers like the United States, United Nations, France, and others have all shifted into high gear to create a Palestinian State inside of Israel without Prime Minister Netanyahu’s consent. There now exists a worldwide movement to get rid of Benjamin Netanyahu. A rotten Israeli ruler is another sign of the end times.

There is yet another sign during the end times. It is a sign to the nation of Israel that Jesus Christ is truly their God. It is also a warning to Israel that their time of Tribulation is about to begin. This sign is the flooding of Mosul in northern Iraq and the plundering of the city by its enemies. The Prophet Nahum tells us all about it, and the news says that the Mosul dam is feeble. So keep your eyes on Mosul!

The Tribulation is a terrible time of trouble on earth. You don’t want to suffer through it. All signs point towards its soon beginning. Call on the Lord Jesus Christ while you still can and be saved from your sins and escape the seven year long Tribulation period on earth.

The GREAT “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference videos

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul

    By Craig C. White

Blessings everybody. Last weekend I had the great pleasure to speak at the “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference in Marion, Iowa. Pastor Bill Randles was kind enough to invite me. Now let me tell you about the Christians in Iowa. They are the salt of the earth. I have never before encountered such a great gathering of Bible literate, and spirit filled Christians. The tender grace of the God of Israel and of his son Jesus Christ was evident throughout the three day event. I was supercharged by the love and edification from everybody. I think that I can speak for everybody who attended, that we were all walking about three feet off of the ground all weekend. As a matter of fact I haven’t touched the ground since.

Believers in Grace Fellowship Bible prophecy conference

“Believers in Grace Fellowship” is most blessed to have Pastor Bill Randles and his wife Kristin. Bill Randles is a wonderful Bible and prophecy teacher who truly cares about the welfare of the Christian Church at large. Bill Randles is also a prolific author writing several Christian books including “A Sword on the Land – The Muslim World in Bible Prophecy”.

Pastor Bill Randles has an international speaking ministry as well as a significant online presence. I will provide links at the end of this article. Pastor Bill Randles is a world traveled Christian who is doing his day to day work in the Iowa heartland.

Bill’s wife Kristin impressed me more than any other women that I have met. “Kris’ is continually in a state of praise and prayer. Every word and utterance is fitly spoken to the edification of all.

Well Pastor Bill Randles managed to gather the most wonderful collection of speakers for the conference. The keynote speaker was Philip Haney author of the bestselling book “See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad”. You may have seen Mr. Haney on the Sean Hannity show recently. Philip Haney was a founding member of Homeland Security under U.S. President George W. Bush. However, Mr. Haney is so much more. Philip Haney is a delightful mix of government operative, canonized saint, lyricist, Warner Brothers cartoon character, and friend. Philip Haney led the way to bless every soul who attended the conference. He certainly blessed me.

I found another new friend in Jim Fletcher. Jim Fletcher is an informed and articulate writer and speaker specializing in Bible prophecy, Christian apologetics, and advocacy for Israel. Jim Fletcher is the author of several wonderful Israel and Bible prophecy books including “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine): How to stop worrying and learn to love these End Times”.

Jim Fletcher is a columnist for the Jerusalem Post, Breaking Israel News, as well as WorldNetDaily. On top of that Jim is a member of the executive committee for the National Christian Leadership Conference for Israel (NCLCI), as well as director of Prophecy Matters and more. Needless to say Jim Fletcher is a busy guy. I was very fortunate to spend three days with Jim. On a personal note; Jim Fletcher is someone who loves the God of Israel with all of his heart and deeply cares about the health and strength of the Christian Church. Jim was so kind and supportive of my efforts to convey the prophetic events that are now unfolding around us.

Craig C. White (that’s me) was the third speaker at the conference. Craig C. White is a Bible prophecy author and speaker. Craig C. White is the founder of “High Time to Awake” Bible prophecy ministry and the hightimetoawake.com website. My bold reporting of Bible prophecy events can be alarming. But that’s why my ministry is called “High Time to Awake”.

I told everybody about the unfolding Turkish conquest of Syria that was developing even as I was speaking. The Bible tells us that just like the ancient Assyrian kings conquered Syria and then invaded northern Israel; an end time ruler of Turkey will do the same. The Bible tells us that the conqueror of Syria is the Antichrist. That’s right. I told them that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. I also told everybody about the events that will lead us to the soon return of Jesus Christ; namely the Turkish attack on Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northern Syria, the destruction of Damascus, and the Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights of northern Israel. Jesus Christ will return to turn back the Turkish led invaders and to also collect his Church in the Resurrection and Rapture.

That’s a lot to take in over the course of one weekend. I am certain that I afflicted the comfortable as well as comforted the afflicted. But like I said earlier; the members of “Believers in Grace Fellowship” received my message with all grace, biblical knowledge, and wisdom. I was personally uplifted by their deep understanding and eagerness to consider the validity of my report. Many who attended were thrilled to discovery the biblically substantiated reasons why we can expect the near time return of Jesus Christ. You could hope for nothing better from a Bible conference.

Revelation chapter 12 verse by verse

The fall of Satan, the rise of the Antichrist, the rejoicing of the Church in heaven, the persecution of Israel, and the escape of Jewish Christians

    By Craig C. White

Euphoria or Grief, which would you prefer? Every person chooses between the two. In Revelation chapter 12 God throws Satan out of heaven. That event divides salvation, and rejoicing in heaven from wrath, and grief on earth. This passage covers the events leading up to Satan’s fall. It may seem cryptic at first but with a little understanding we can decipher it. This chapter is not about Church age believers but it is about the nation of Israel. It is particularly about the Jews living in Jerusalem and the surrounding region of Judea during their great tribulation.

Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Israel is pictured here. The LORD is her light (Isa 60:19-20); she is crowned with twelve sons, the tribes of Israel.

Remember Joseph’s dream? The twelve stars are the twelve sons of Jacob whom God named Israel. There are only eleven stars in Joseph’s dream because Joseph himself is the twelfth star (or son).

Gen 37:9-10 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

Revelation 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

The child is Jesus Christ; God in human flesh; the child given to the world by way of Israel (Isa 7:14). Jesus was born at his due time; Christ also died in due time (Rom 5:6).

Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

The dragon is Satan; the god of this world. The seven heads are the seven gentile world empires of world history; Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman, plus the final gentile world empire yet to come. Ten horns are ten kings that rule that final world empire (Dan 7:24). Satan is the influence behind world empires. He wants to be worshiped as the god of this world (Isa 14:12-14).

Revelation 12:4a And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:

One third of the angels in heaven follow Satan. He will throw them to the earth with him. The following verses refer to Antiochus Epiphanies the king of the Seleucid dynasty of the Grecian Empire. It may also more directly apply to the Antichrist and Satan at the time of the devil’s fall.

Dan 8:9-11 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

Revelation 12:4b and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Satan influenced Herod, the king of Judea to kill all male children around Bethlehem that were less than two years of age in order to eliminate the messiah (Mat 2:16).

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Jesus was born through the nation of Israel. His destiny is to rule all the earth from Jerusalem forever (Isa 9:6-7). After Christ’s resurrection he was taken up to heaven to sit at the right hand of God until his return (Mar 16:19).

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

During the second half of the seven year long Tribulation period (called Jerusalem’s great tribulation in Matthew 24:21) the people of Judea (which is the region around Jerusalem) will flee to the mountains where God will sustain them for three and a half years (Mat 24:15-16, Luke 21:21-22). I think that this place is on the east side of the Jordan River near Jericho and Mt. Nebo, where Israel entered the land after the exodus. It is also the place where ravens fed Elijah as he hid (1Ki 17:3).

Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

There will be a war in heaven and Satan and his angels (devils) will be thrown out. This war may be going on right now. We will know officially that the war in heaven is over and that Satan has been cast to the earth when we see the Antichrist sitting in the temple in Jerusalem (2Thes 2:4). But allow me to warn you that Satan’s fall may be apparent well before the Antichrist sits in the temple. Luke chapter 10:18 says, “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Satan is tossed out of heaven and then gives the Antichrist influence on earth.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The casting out of Satan marks the beginning of God’s great judgment of the rebellious. It marks the beginning of God’s final dominion on earth. Only the seven year tribulation period precedes the day that Jesus Christ takes his thrown in Jerusalem. Today Satan accuses believers of sin in front of God in heaven. Soon Satan will be cast out of heaven for good. According to 2 Thessalonians 2 Satan is cast out of heaven before the Antichrist is revealed as he sits in the temple. Satan empowers the Antichrist on earth. Satan’s removal from heaven is called “the falling away”.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

At this point in Revelation chapter 12 Satan has just been cast out of heaven. He can no longer stand before God to accuse Christians of disobedience. Folks, I think that the previous verse refers to Church age believers that have been taken up into heaven at the Rapture. So the Rapture occurs either before or at the time that Satan falls from heaven. In the next verse the inhabitants of heaven rejoice when Satan is cast out of heaven. I think that the Church age believers in Jesus Christ are in heaven when Satan is cast out. The only way that a person can be with God in heaven is to trust in Jesus Christ’s blood sacrifice as payment for their sins (John 1:29).

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The Church will rejoice in heaven while people on earth will be subject to the wrath of Satan and the judgment of God during the seven year long Tribulation period (Mat 24:21).

Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

After Satan is cast out of heaven, Satan and the Antichrist will persecute the nation of Israel. This is known as the seven year long Tribulation period. In the middle of this seven year period the Antichrist will launch a surprise attack on Jerusalem and Judea. The second half of the Tribulation period is called Jerusalem’s great tribulation in Matthew 24:21. Jerusalem will suffer greater anguish than they ever have at any time throughout history. Jerusalem’s great tribulation is also known as “the time of Jacob’s trouble” in Jeremiah 30:7.

Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The term “wings of a great eagle” probably has nothing to do with the United States. It means that God is helping the Jews to escape. God carried the Jews on eagles wings when they escaped Egypt (Exodus 19:4).

Jesus warned the people of Judea to keep watch for the Antichrist as he comes to attack Jerusalem. When they see him coming they are to flee to the mountains to the east of Jerusalem. Isaiah 16:3-5 says that the Jews who flee Judea will take refuge in the province of Moab in Jordan. Today there is a significant refugee camp in the town of Kerak, Jordan. Kerak is in the Moab province of Jordan. Perhaps the Jews who flee Judea will live in refugee camps in Kerak. These Judean refugees will be cared for for three and one half years.

Mat 24:15-16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Luke 21:20-22 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Jesus may have been referring to the same warning that Jeremiah gave in the Old Testament.

Jeremiah 6:1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

OK now let’s think about what has happened so far. Satan has fallen from heaven to the earth. Christians have been taken up into safety in heaven while Satan and the Antichrist cause a lot of trouble on earth. The Antichrist has suddenly attacked Jerusalem and Judea, but some of the Jews have escaped to Jordan.

Some of the Jews have fled to the mountains! That means that some of the Jews have believed Jesus Christ’s warning! That means that there are believing Jews in Israel after the Rapture of the Church and during the Tribulation period.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

I think that the verse above is describing the army of the Antichrist as they pursue the fleeing Jews. The armies are somehow stopped by the earth. Perhaps by an earthquake or an opening fault line. God drowned Pharaoh’s army in the Red Sea when Israel escaped Egypt. Perhaps God will drown the Antichrist’s army in the Jordan River.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

I’m not exactly sure who this verse refers to but this verse is probably not referring to Church age Christians. Instead it could be referring to the Jewish refugees that have fled away from southern Israel in order to escape the Antichrist’s invading army. These refugees will live in Jordan for three and one half years but at the end of that time several nations will attack them (Psalm 83). These Jewish refugees have believed the warning that Jesus gave them in the New Testament. They have fled into the wilderness. On the other hand Revelation 12:17 may refer to Jewish believers who have believed in Jesus but who haven’t escaped out of the land of Israel.

By the way Psalm 83 is the plea of the Judean refugees for God’s help. After living in Jordan for three and one half years their enemies are about to attack them again.

High Time to Awake has reached the Turkish national media

Now if I could only reach Christians

    By Craig C. White

Over the past few weeks several news articles have been published in major Turkish and international news outlets critiquing my book “Turkey invades Israel – Halfway to Armageddon“. These Turkish journalists and scholars are somewhat alarmed over my position that Turkish President Erdogan is the biblical Antichrist. I suppose that that is understandable. They are also upset that I have said that the Turkish Army has entered Syria and will continue to Damascus and then enter the Golan Heights of Israel.

I have been telling people about Turkey’s role in end time Bible prophecy from the scriptures for the past seven years on my website hightimetoawake.com. I don’t think that most Turks are receiving my book “Turkey invades Israel – Halfway to Armageddon” as a message from God. But my book is in fact just that; a message from God and from his prophets. I am only studying the Holy Bible and reporting what it says.

Turkish journalists have read my book “Turkey Invades Israel – Halfway to Armageddon” and have understood that the Bible predicts that Turkey will conquer Syria first and then invade northern Israel. That is pretty smart. At least they do understand my message. That is a better response than I have received from most Christians over the past seven years. I am glad that at least somebody is finally listening.

If only Christians would wake up to understand the truth of end time events as the Bible describes them. Turkey will soon attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat as Jeremiah 49:23 says. Then Turkey will destroy Damascus (Jeremiah 49:23-27). Afterwards Turkey will lead the forces that are now fighting in Syria into the Golan Heights of Israel (Ezekiel 38). Expect Jesus Christ to return to turn them back (Nahum 1). At that time Jesus will also gather his Church. It is High Time to Awake!

Erdogan says “They have commenced a struggle between the cross and crescent”

Turkish President makes stand against Europe and Christendom

    By Craig C. White

Turkish President Erdogan has declared war between cross and crescent, between Christianity and Islam. Erdogan threatened that Turks in Europe will rise up against Europeans.

Erdogan along with his supporters plan to convert the ancient Christian cathedral Hagia Sophia into a mosque. Erdogan plans to lead Muslim prayers there even though it is unlawful for a secular leader to do so. By leading Muslim prayers Erdogan is proclaiming himself as an Islamic Imam. For eight decades the Hagia Sophia has stood as a symbol of Turkey’s dedication to a secular society, accepting of both Islam and Christianity. Converting the old church into a Mosque will declare that Turkey and Islam have usurped Christianity. The war between cross and crescent will have officially begun.

In the attached article, Walid Shoebat suggests that this could fulfill 2Thessalonians 2:4. I think that this is worth considering.

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

There will obviously be a physical temple building during the Tribulation period. In Revelation the Apostle John was instructed to measure its physical dimensions.

Rev 11:1-2 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

I wonder if the following two passages are describing two separate events.

Mat 24:15-16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Matthew 24:15-16 could be referencing theses verses Dan 9:27, Dan 12:11.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

    2Thessalonians 2:4 could be referencing these verses Isa_14:13; Eze 28:2, Dan 7:25, Dan 8:9-11, Dan 11:36; Rev 13:6.

Ezekiel 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

I wonder if the Antichrist standing in the temple of God (2Thess 2:4) is a separate event than the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (Mat 24 15:16). I wonder if Turkish President Erdogan standing in the Hagia Sophia showing himself that he is God could fulfill 2Thessalonians 2:4.

  • The term “Son of man” typically refers to Jesus Christ

The term “Son of man” typically refers to Jesus Christ.

But “Son of man” sometimes refers to the Antichrist.

    By Craig C. White

In several instances in the Bible God addresses men in general as “son of man” (Psa 8:4, Heb 2:6). God often addresses the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel as “son of man”. God calls the prophet Daniel “son of man” only one time in (Dan 8:17). When the word “Son” is capitalized in the Bible; most of the time the term “Son of man” refers to the Messiah (Dan 7:13). Occasionally the term “Son of man” is also used to describe the Antichrist (Luke 17:26 & 30). The two Greek words that are translated as “Son of man” are uihos (pronounced hwee-os’) meaning heir (or inheritor) and anthrōpos meaning human being. So the term “Son of man” literally means inheritor of humanity. Simply put the term “Son of man” describes a person who is born of human parents. In Jesus Christ’s case he was born to his mother Mary. He is truly a man. Of course Jesus Christ is also truly God. In the Antichrist’s case he will also be born of human parents. The Antichrist is only a man. In Luke chapter 17 the term “Son of man” is used in two different ways; both to describe Jesus Christ as well as to describe the man we call the Antichrist. In the following verses the term “Son of man” pertains to Jesus Christ.

Luke 17:22-25 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

In the Luke 17:26-31 the term “Son of man” is used twice (Luke 17:26 & 30) to describe the revealing of the Antichrist as he invades Jerusalem and Judea. This is a day of death and distress. Jesus warns people not to return to their homes.

Luke 17:26-31 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

In Matthew chapter 24 we are told who these people are that Jesus instructs not to return to their homes. They are the people of Jerusalem and Judea.

Mat 24:15-21 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Matthew 24:15-18 describes the same day as does Luke 17:30-31. The day that the “Son of man” is revealed in Luke 17:30 is the same as the day that the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stands in the holy place in Matthew 24:15. It is the very day that the armies of the Antichrist overrun Jerusalem and Judea. The “Son of man” in Luke 17:30 is not describing Jesus Christ but it is warning the citizens of Jerusalem and Judea about the coming Antichrist. The day that the “Son of man” is revealed in Luke 17:30 marks the beginning of Jerusalem’s and Judea’s great tribulation.

The term “Son of man” refers to the Antichrist as he invades Jerusalem and Judea in the following verses.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

In the Bible the term “Son of man” usually refers to Jesus Christ. But in these few instances “Son of man” is warning the people in Jerusalem and Judea about the invading army of the Antichrist.

  • The days of Noah. The days of Lot.

The days of Noah. The days of Lot.

    What is this referring to?

    By Craig C. White

A lot of Christians point to this verse and conclude that nobody can know the day that Jesus Christ returns for his Church at the Rapture.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But which “day” is Jesus referring to? Jesus is not referring to the day of the Rapture. Jesus is not referring to his second coming. Jesus is telling the Jews living around Jerusalem to watch for the Antichrist approaching. The Antichrist along with his armies will enter Jerusalem and capture or kill the Jews living there. This day begins Jerusalem’s great tribulation.

Jesus warned of great danger in Jerusalem and Judea at a time when its citizens were living their daily lives as usual. He said that it would be like the days of Noah just before the flood. He said that life would be going on normally just like in Sodom before God rained fire upon the city. The following verses do not pertain to Church age believers. They are not describing an abundance of sin on earth. They are not describing the days before the Rapture. They do not refer to Jesus Christ’s second coming. They apply to the region around Jerusalem. It will be life as usual just before the Antichrist invades Jerusalem and Judea during the middle of the seven year tribulation period. This begins Jerusalem’s great tribulation (Mat 24:21).

Luke 17:26-29 And as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Mat 24:37-39 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

In the verse above, the “Son of man” isn’t referring to Jesus Christ. The Son of man is the Antichrist! One minute things will be happening as usual. Then suddenly Israel’s enemies will attack!

The days of Noah in these verses do not describe the spiritual rebellion that did exist before the flood. It does not describe the existence of giants in the land. The days of Noah describes normal day to day living before sudden destruction comes.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

  • Forsake your house and just run!
