Map of Heaven
Mountain, throne, temple, city, valley
by Craig C. White
Heaven looks a lot like the city of Jerusalem, only with better views. Or I should say Jerusalem is patterned like heaven. Fact is, in time Jerusalem will look more and more like heaven. If you want to be able to find your way around heaven all you have to do is scroll down and check out your Map of Heaven!
There is a mountain in Jerusalem called mount Zion. There are other mountains or hills that are called Zion but the true mount Zion is located on the south east corner of Jerusalem. It is also called the “city of David”, or the “hill of Ophel”. King David had his palace and throne on mount Zion. Some think that his son Solomon built his temple on mount Zion. One day mount Zion in Jerusalem will become a very high mountain and Jesus will rule the world from his throne there. You can easily find it on your map of heaven.
Eze 40:2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.
Psa 48:1-2 A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. 2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Jesus is the great King. The north sides of mount Zion will be where Jesus sets his throne on earth. The north side of mount Zion faces Jerusalem. God in heaven also faces Jerusalem.
Isa 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
There is also a mountain in heaven where God is seated on his throne. The Devil has seen it and boy is he jealous! He wants to be like God and sit on the throne on the north side of the heavenly mount.
Isa 14:13-14 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
God’s heavenly throne is on the north side of the holy mountain in heaven. King David’s palace has been found on the north side of mount Zion in Jerusalem. Hebrew University archaeologist, Dr. Eilat Mazar has located the site. Read “Is It the Palace of King David?” by Sarah H. Moore at www.leaderu.com.
There have been two chief temples in Jerusalem. The first was King Solomon’s temple (1Ki 6). Construction began in 960 B.C.; it was destroyed in 606 B.C. by the Babylonian Empire. The second was Zerubbabel’s temple (Ezr 6-8). Construction began about 520 B.C.; it was plundered and defiled by Antiochus Epiphanies in 167 B.C. It was restored by Judas Maccabeus and latter renovated by Herod the great. So it is sometimes known as Herod’s temple. Zerubbabel’s temple (or Herod’s temple) was destroyed by the Roman Empire in 70 A.D. There will be two more temples built in Jerusalem. The next temple (or holy place) will be built by Israel and will stand during the seven year “Tribulation period” (Dan 9:27, Mat 24:15). The final temple will be built by Jesus and will stand during the one thousand year “millennial” reign of Christ on earth (Eze 40-47:12). There is also a temple in heaven. Why would God need a temple? Does He make sacrifices? Yes, only one. God’s temple is shown on the Map of Heaven.
Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Map of Heaven © 2011 Craig C. White
Map of Heaven © 2011 Craig C. WhiteHeb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
The glory of God occupied King Solomon’s temple. The heavenly temple is God’s holy headquarters.
Psa 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
If I told you that there is a city in Jerusalem, I’m sure you would believe it. There is a city in heaven. Abraham believed it and he didn’t even have a map of Heaven!
Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
The holy city is called “New Jerusalem”. It is about 1,500 miles square! The heavenly city is coming to earth. Jerusalem will look more and more like heaven.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
You might want to notice the Hinnom valley that wraps around the bottom half of the city on the map of Heaven. Hinnom was a man; probably a Jebusite. Hinnom is a Hebrew word. It is used 12 times in the New Testament in the Greek form “Gehenna”. It is translated into English as “hell”. According to “Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries”:
Gehenna, gheh’-en-nah
Of Hebrew origin; valley of (the son of) Hinnom; gehenna (or Ge-Hinnom), a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment: – hell.
The valley of Hinnom was where the Hebrews sacrificed their children in the fire of false gods. In Jesus’ day it was a burning dump.
2Ch 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
Jesus used the word Gehenna to describe the everlasting destination of the unsaved. The English word “hell” is translated from the Greek word Gehenna in the following verses.
Luk 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
It is easy for us to see the valley of Hinnom in Jerusalem. But there may be a much deeper valley burning in heaven. Jesus and the angels will watch the everlasting burning of the damned.
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
You are lucky to have a map of heaven. Today if you die, having put your trust in Christ, your spirit will be immediately ushered into the presence of God in heaven.
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
That is good news. But even better news is that you will soon return to Earth with Jesus to receive your restored body.
1Th 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
That’s right you’re going to get your body back, only it is going to be improved. Won’t that scare your relatives? When Jesus comes at the resurrection the dead will rise in their new bodies and the bodies of those still living believers will be changed into everlasting bodies. After that, we will return to heaven in our renewed bodies to watch the unfolding of Israel’s final seven years of indignation spoken of by the Prophet Daniel (Dan 9:24). During that time we will also witness the wrath of God on all nations.
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
When you are in heaven in your new body don’t forget your map. And hold on to it when you come back to earth. Come back to earth? Yes sir, I’m sure that you know that the meek shall inherit the Earth.
Psa 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Now that you have your Map of Heaven you will be able to find your way around in Heaven and on Earth. After all, in time Jerusalem will look more and more like Heaven!

The GREAT “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference videos
The GREAT “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference videos
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul
By Craig C. White
Blessings everybody. Last weekend I had the great pleasure to speak at the “Believers in Grace Fellowship” Bible prophecy conference in Marion, Iowa. Pastor Bill Randles was kind enough to invite me. Now let me tell you about the Christians in Iowa. They are the salt of the earth. I have never before encountered such a great gathering of Bible literate, and spirit filled Christians. The tender grace of the God of Israel and of his son Jesus Christ was evident throughout the three day event. I was supercharged by the love and edification from everybody. I think that I can speak for everybody who attended, that we were all walking about three feet off of the ground all weekend. As a matter of fact I haven’t touched the ground since.

“Believers in Grace Fellowship” is most blessed to have Pastor Bill Randles and his wife Kristin. Bill Randles is a wonderful Bible and prophecy teacher who truly cares about the welfare of the Christian Church at large. Bill Randles is also a prolific author writing several Christian books including “A Sword on the Land – The Muslim World in Bible Prophecy”.
Pastor Bill Randles has an international speaking ministry as well as a significant online presence. I will provide links at the end of this article. Pastor Bill Randles is a world traveled Christian who is doing his day to day work in the Iowa heartland.
Bill’s wife Kristin impressed me more than any other women that I have met. “Kris’ is continually in a state of praise and prayer. Every word and utterance is fitly spoken to the edification of all.
Well Pastor Bill Randles managed to gather the most wonderful collection of speakers for the conference. The keynote speaker was Philip Haney author of the bestselling book “See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad”. You may have seen Mr. Haney on the Sean Hannity show recently. Philip Haney was a founding member of Homeland Security under U.S. President George W. Bush. However, Mr. Haney is so much more. Philip Haney is a delightful mix of government operative, canonized saint, lyricist, Warner Brothers cartoon character, and friend. Philip Haney led the way to bless every soul who attended the conference. He certainly blessed me.
I found another new friend in Jim Fletcher. Jim Fletcher is an informed and articulate writer and speaker specializing in Bible prophecy, Christian apologetics, and advocacy for Israel. Jim Fletcher is the author of several wonderful Israel and Bible prophecy books including “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine): How to stop worrying and learn to love these End Times”.
Jim Fletcher is a columnist for the Jerusalem Post, Breaking Israel News, as well as WorldNetDaily. On top of that Jim is a member of the executive committee for the National Christian Leadership Conference for Israel (NCLCI), as well as director of Prophecy Matters and more. Needless to say Jim Fletcher is a busy guy. I was very fortunate to spend three days with Jim. On a personal note; Jim Fletcher is someone who loves the God of Israel with all of his heart and deeply cares about the health and strength of the Christian Church. Jim was so kind and supportive of my efforts to convey the prophetic events that are now unfolding around us.

Craig C. White (that’s me) was the third speaker at the conference. Craig C. White is a Bible prophecy author and speaker. Craig C. White is the founder of “High Time to Awake” Bible prophecy ministry and the hightimetoawake.com website. My bold reporting of Bible prophecy events can be alarming. But that’s why my ministry is called “High Time to Awake”.
I told everybody about the unfolding Turkish conquest of Syria that was developing even as I was speaking. The Bible tells us that just like the ancient Assyrian kings conquered Syria and then invaded northern Israel; an end time ruler of Turkey will do the same. The Bible tells us that the conqueror of Syria is the Antichrist. That’s right. I told them that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. I also told everybody about the events that will lead us to the soon return of Jesus Christ; namely the Turkish attack on Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northern Syria, the destruction of Damascus, and the Turkish led invasion into the Golan Heights of northern Israel. Jesus Christ will return to turn back the Turkish led invaders and to also collect his Church in the Resurrection and Rapture.
That’s a lot to take in over the course of one weekend. I am certain that I afflicted the comfortable as well as comforted the afflicted. But like I said earlier; the members of “Believers in Grace Fellowship” received my message with all grace, biblical knowledge, and wisdom. I was personally uplifted by their deep understanding and eagerness to consider the validity of my report. Many who attended were thrilled to discovery the biblically substantiated reasons why we can expect the near time return of Jesus Christ. You could hope for nothing better from a Bible conference.

Netanyahu likely to be indicted under receiving bribes
Netanyahu likely to be indicted under receiving bribes
By Craig C. White
We all know that there are evil forces trying to remove Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from office. Their latest ploy is to charge Netanyahu with receiving champagne and Cuban cigars in exchange for personal favors. Using these petty claims, his opponents are calling for Netanyahu’s resignation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that there is nothing to these claims. I certainly believe him but an indictment is imminent. An indictment is simply an accusation and is not proof of guilt. Nevertheless the enemies of the Israeli state are in motion.
Now for the Bible lesson. Zechariah 11:16 says that God will one day God will raise up a wicked leader in Israel who will hand over his people for profit. Zechariah calls him the “idol shepherd”.
Zechariah 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
Don’t think that I am talking about the Antichrist. I am not. I am talking about a Jewish Israeli leader who will be in office during Israel’s great tribulation. Let me tell you that today there are many Israeli leaders who are eager to hand over their nations sovereignty.

Keep your eye on Mosul
Keep your eye on Mosul
By Craig C. White
Circumstances in Mosul, Iraq are a lot like they were when God wiped out the same place with a flood in 612 BC! The Prophet Nahum foretells the flooding and plundering of the ancient city of Nineveh.
Nahum 1:8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
Nahum tells us that God will destroy the place where Nineveh was built with a flood. Well the city of Mosul in northern Iraq is built in the same place as ancient Nineveh. Mosul is built around the ruins of ancient Nineveh on the Tigris River in Northern Iraq. So Nahum may also predict the flooding of Mosul. Today the Mosul dam is in danger of failing. Nahum says that the gates of the river will be opened.
Nahum 2:6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.
After ancient Nineveh was flooded then three armies attacked the city. The Babylonians, Persians, and Medes pillaged the city until there was nothing left. Today those same three armies are fighting against ISIS in Mosul. Today Iraq, Iran, and the Kurds are fighting ISIS in Mosul.
On February 16th 2015 Iraq Prime Minister Haider Abadi announced plans to retake Mosul from ISIS in April or May. Since then the Iraqi army helped by the Iranian Guard have launched an attack on Tikrit halfway between Baghdad and Mosul. They are fighting their way towards Mosul. As of August 2016 several towns surrounding Mosul have been taken back from ISIS by the Iraqi Army and the Kurdish Peshmerga. From October 216 to February 2017 the Iraqi Army liberated the eastern half of Mosul. Then they began fighting ISIS in western Mosul. The Iraqi Army has pushed ISIS into the Old City neighborhood of western Mosul. ISIS now has only a small defensive position on the bank of the Tigris River located directly across from the Nineveh ruins. The final assault on Mosul is near its end.
The citizens of Mosul are beginning a week long celebration commemorating the liberation of Mosul. Nahum says that the residents of Nineveh will be drunk with wine when they are destroyed.
Keep your eye on Mosul. The same three armies that attacked ancient Nineveh are advancing on Mosul. The Prophet Nahum said that God will destroy the place where Nineveh sat with a flood. Today Mosul is sitting in the same place as ancient Nineveh.
By the way, when Mosul floods and Israel remembers the preaching of Jonah; that may be the one end time sign to Israel that Jesus is truly their God.

Syira/Iran shoots down Israel F-16 jet over Golan Heights
Syira/Iran shoots down Israel F-16 jet over Golan Heights
By Craig C. White
Syrian and Iranian forces have been agitating Israel on their northern border for a few years now. Over the past many years Israel has conducted several airstrikes inside of Syria, while forces inside of Syria have lobbed missiles into Israel. This week an Iranian drone entered Israeli airspace over the Golan Heights. Israel then sent eight F-16 fighter jets over Syria in order to target Syrian and Iranian electronic control centers. Israel hit several radar and communication installations. While doing so Syrian forces shoot down one Israeli F-16. The Israeli pilots ejected from the aircraft and survived although injured.
“IDF has targeted the Iranian control systems in Syria that sent the #UAV into Israeli airspace. Massive Syrian Anti-Air fire, one F16 crashed in Israel, pilots safe,” Conricus also said on Twitter.
Read this article on the Jerusalem Post: ISRAEL STRIKES IRANIAN TARGETS IN SYRIA, IAF PILOTS EJECT F-16
This latest incident was the first time that Iran has violated Israeli airspace and saw the greatest military response by Israel since the 1980’s.
That is the news, but allow me to tell you what the Bible has to say about all of this. Way back in 734 BC Israel was in a similar predicament. Syria was threatening northern Israel and instead of starting a major war with their neighbor, Israel asked the Assyrians (northern Iraq) for help fighting against Syria. Assyria attacked northern Syria first and then Damascus. Only problem is that after Assyria conquered Syria they promptly invaded northern Israel. This same scenario may once again be played out when Israel asks Turkey for help fighting against the Pro-Syrian forces in southern Syria. You will not find Bible prophecy analysis like this anywhere else.
Will Israel ask Turkey for help to fight Syria in the Golan Heights?
By Craig C. White
Things are heating up between Israel and Syrian forces. Several military strikes have been exchanged on the Golan Heights.
History may be repeating itself concerning Israel. Around 740 BC Syria made war against Israel’s southern kingdom of Judah. Ahaz the king of Judah asked Assyria for help. Assyria attacked Syria and conquered Damascus. A few years latter Assyria attacked northern Israel. All of this is recorded in 2Kings 16-17.
Here is a list of actors in this historic drama from the northern most kingdom southward. During this time the land of Israel was divided into two kingdoms; Israel to the north and Judah to the south.
Tiglathpileser king of Assyria
Rezin king of Syria
Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel
Ahaz king of Judah2Kings 16:5 Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.
2Kings 16:7 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
2Kings 16:9 And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.
Just a few years later Assyria attacked northern Israel. By this time Shalmaneser was king of Assyria.
2Kings 17:5 Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years.
While 2Kings 16-17 are not viewed as prophetic verses, a similar scenario is presenting itself today. Today Syria and Israel are fighting in the Golan Heights. Could it be that Israel will ask another far northern kingdom for help against Syria?
Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes an end time invasion into Syria coming from the Turkish border. Afterwards Damascus is destroyed.
Ezekiel chapter 38 describes a Turkish led invasion into Israel that seems to parallel the Assyrian invasion into northern Israel in 734 BC. Every nation that is listed in Ezekiel chapter 38 is now fighting in Syria.
I wonder if Israel will ask Turkey for help to fight Syria in the Golan Heights? I am already certain that the Turkish Army will invade Syria in force and destroy Damascus. I am also certain that Turkey will lead an invasion into Israel. In the Bible the Antichrist is compared to the ancient Assyrian kings. That’s because the Antichrist will do the same things that the Assyrian kings did. He will invade Syria, conquer Damascus, and then invade northern Israel. That is only the beginning. I am convinced that Turkey President Erdogan is the modern day fulfillment of “the Assyrian”.

Meek seek haven in heaven
Meek seek haven in heaven
When we are taken at the Rapture
By Craig C. White
To receive our renewed bodies and to be with Jesus Christ and other believers in Heaven will be wonderful. Also, to escape the troubles and worries of this world will be great. However, I have figured something out.
First, the reason that the Church will be taken at the Rapture isn’t because our time has come, or that we are so good that God can’t wait to see us, but it is because a terrible time of trouble is coming on Israel and on the entire world. We will be taken in order to escape it.
The verse below is addressed first to Israel and then to all of the meek of the earth.
Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.
The main event is not the Rapture of the Church, but the main event is that Israel and the nations will be judged. Church age believers will be watching the events of the tribulation on earth from heaven. The Tribulation is the main event. After the Tribulation on Earth the Church will return to Earth with Jesus to live there forever.
Israel is at the center of God’s plan of redemption for all people. God chose Abraham to be his nation. God promised King David that his descendant would rule in Jerusalem forever. God promised that the Messiah would come from the Jews. To believe on him would mean everlasting life. We won’t live in Heaven forever. Christians will return to Earth after the Tribulation. We will first help to care for many hurting Jews who have survived the Tribulation. We will then rule on earth with Jesus Christ forever. Didn’t you know that the meek shall inherit the earth?
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Before the Tribulation begins, every meek person both Jew and gentile who believe in Jesus Christ will find shelter in Heaven from God’s judgment on Earth.
Very interesting to read and hard to stop. – Alexandria

Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in Mosul
Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in Mosul
The Prophet Nahum describes the destruction and flooding of Mosul.
By Craig C. White
I am fervently watching events in Mosul. At some point I am expecting Mosul to be destroyed by a flood of water. The ISIS saga seems to be taking a long time to unfold. On Monday July 10, 2017 Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared victory over ISIS in Mosul; however fighting has continued this week. Most of the ISIS strongholds have been overrun but there are still a few pockets remaining. ISIS last fighting positions are located on the Tigris River in the Old City neighborhood of western Mosul. The Old City neighborhood has been devastated by the war. Some seven thousand civilians have been killed, with tens of thousands more wounded. Mosul is Iraq’s second largest city with a pre-war population of nearly two million people. Nearly one million residents have been displaced from their homes.
Mosul is built around the ruins of ancient Nineveh. As a matter of fact Iraqis still refer to Mosul as Nineveh. Nineveh was the capital of the Assyrian Empire. The Assyrians were infamous for committing the same sorts of atrocities that ISIS is known for today. The Prophet Nahum calls them vile. The Prophet Nahum predicted the flooding and plundering of Nineveh. Nineveh was flooded by the Tigris River and then set upon by the Babylonians, Medes, and Persians in 612 BC. The city was plundered and burned for two months until almost nothing remained. Today these same nations are fighting against ISIS in Mosul. Nahum predicted the flooding and destruction of Nineveh but his words could apply to the modern day city of Mosul even more.
Let me begin by saying that the Old Testament book of Nahum definitely predicts that Nineveh (or modern day Mosul) will be destroyed by a flood of water. Remember that ancient Nineveh was flooded in 612 BC.
Nahum 1:8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
Nahum says that the gates of the Tigris River will be opened. Today the Mosul dam is in danger of bursting. If the Mosul dam broke it could sent a seventy five foot tall wave of water over downtown Mosul.
Nahum 2:6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.
Nahum also says that the palace will be dissolved. Interestingly the palace of Assyrian King Sennacherib has just been rediscovered for the first time since Nineveh flooded in 612 BC. The palace ruins are located in eastern Mosul directly across the Tigris River from the last stronghold of ISIS.
Nahum 2:8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.
In the verse above, Nahum is saying that Nineveh will look like a water reservoir for many days. So Nahum definitely describes a flood of water, but Nahum also describes an invading army and the defeat of the Assyrian forces by military combat.
Nahum 3:1-3 Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not; 2 The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots. 3 The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:
Nahum 3:3 describes Nineveh as being littered with dead bodies. This week Nahum 3:3 has been fulfilled. The Iraqi Army cannot allow the residents of western Mosul to return to their homes because there are so many dead bodies that must be removed. Compare Nahum 3:3 to this quote from this story in the Mirror titled; ISIS’ last stand: How bloody final battle for Mosul took place in tiny 150-yard street strewn with bodies.
“Families described not being able to walk without stepping on a corpse or a body part and were holed up with suicide bombers in the tiny street”
The following verse describes the Assyrian soldiers as they hide from the advancing army. To seek strength means that they will look for a fortified shelter to protect themselves from the battle.
Nahum 3:11 Thou also shalt be drunken: thou shalt be hid, thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy.
This week many ISIS fighters have been pulled out of tunnels and out from beneath rubble where they were hiding.
The next verse says that their fortified fighting positions will be readily defeated. The Iraqi Army has made steady progress against ISIS in Mosul; pushing them into a small patch of the Old City neighborhood next to the Tigris River.
Nahum 3:12 All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater.
Yes I think that the book of Nahum predicts the flooding of ISIS in Mosul, but Nahum also describes the Assyrian Army (and perhaps ISIS as well) as they are killed by fire and by sword. These things have happened in Mosul over the past several months.
Nahum 3:14-15 Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln. 15 There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts.
In the passage above, Nahum also mentions that ISIS will use bricks to fortify their position. I think that this could be accomplished at their current location next to the Tigris River in western Mosul. This is the last stronghold of ISIS in Mosul. It has also been their headquarters and epicenter for the past three years. ISIS has erected cloth tarps over the city streets in this area in order to hide the view of their activities from the air. If these tarps are removed to reveal brickwork fortifications then expect a flood. Interestingly, ISIS’s final stronghold is located on the west side of the Tigris River directly across from the Nineveh ruins.
Several events that Nahum describes have already happened in Mosul. Here are a few other things that we can expect to see happen soon that would confirm Nahum’s prophecy.
Nahum 1:11 says that a wicked leader will come out of Nineveh. ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi is thought to have fled Mosul. It is suspected that he is hiding in small ISIS controlled villages west of Mosul.
Nahum 1:11 There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.
There have been a lot of mixed reports lately about whether or not Al-Baghdadi has been killed. Pentagon chief Jim Mattis said on July 14, 2017 that the US cannot confirm that ISIS leader Al-Baghdadi is dead.
“If we knew, we would tell you — right now, I can’t confirm or deny it,” Mattis said. “Our approach is we assume he’s alive until it’s proven otherwise, and right now I can’t prove it otherwise.”
In the next verse Nahum says that this wicked leader will formally address his troops. So a message from Al-Baghdadi to the last remaining ISIS fighters in Mosul would be appropriate.
Nahum 2:5 He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.
Nahum 1:10 says that the Assyrians (or perhaps ISIS) will be gathered closely together when they are destroyed. ISIS has been gathered together in western Mosul. In Nahum 1:14 God says that he will punish the people of Nineveh (or Mosul) because they are vile. That certainly describes ISIS. Mosul is Nineveh and ISIS is an attempt at reviving the Assyrian Empire. In Nahum 1:9 God says that “affliction shall not rise up the second time.” meaning that God will not allow the Assyrian Empire to afflict Israel for a second time. Today we can see ISIS being diminished in Syria and northern Iraq. We are seeing Bible prophecy being fulfilled in Mosul. Be on the lookout for more to follow. At some point I am expecting Mosul to be destroyed by a flood of water.

Turkish President Erdogan erects image of a revived Ottoman Empire
Turkish President Erdogan erects image of a revived Ottoman Empire
Image of the beast
By Craig C. White
The end time is marked by the revival of the last world empire. Most Bible teachers identify this world empire as Rome but they overlook the only other world empire to exist since Rome fell. Between 1299-1923 the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire conquered territory from western Europe to India. There have been other empires but none of them were world empires. To qualify as a “world empire” a nation must rule a contiguous land mass covering multiple quadrants of the old world; namely Europe, Russia, Africa, and western Asia. Turkey is right in the middle of all of these regions. The revival of the Turkish ruled Ottoman Empire marks the end time, and Turkish President Erdogan is ambitiously rebuilding it. To celebrate the one year anniversary of the failed military coup in Turkey, Erdogan has erected a giant statue commemorating the rise again of the Ottoman Empire. He also hinted at reunification of all Islamic nations under Turkish rule. Tek Devlet “One State” the image read. Sounds like the tower of Babylon all over again. Please notice that this statue does not honor the god of Islam but is does honor the god of Turkish military conquest (the god of forces).
Turkish President Erdogan poses with Ottoman era soldiers in front of monument dedicated to a revived Ottoman EmpireDan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
The Bible tells us that an image will be made representing the next world empire. Revelation 13:14 seems to suggest that the “False Prophet” will command that this image should be made. Anybody who does not worship the image will be killed. The beast in Revelation 13:15 is the end time world empire. The beast can also describe the ruler of the next world empire. Is Erdogan’s statue the image of the beast mentioned in Revelation? Maybe. Turkish President Erdogan’s pillar certainly qualifies as an image of a revived Ottoman Empire.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Remember when Erdogan gave a speech as a nine foot tall hologram? That also qualifies as an image that represents the ruler of a revived Ottoman Empire. The hologram could also speak. Any way that you slice it, Erdogan is on the move to reestablish a Turkish ruled empire.
So many Christians balk when I identify the Antichrist. They say that nobody can know, and that we shouldn’t be looking for the Antichrist. What a mistake. The Bible gives us a lot of information about the identity and actions of the Antichrist. We ought not neglect its warnings. It is especially important to warn Israel of its coming time of trouble. If we love Israel then we should be concerned about their welfare. It is shameful that this never enters the minds of so many Christians. When asked about the timing of the Rapture and the Tribulation period, the Apostle Paul said that the Antichrist would rise before the Tribulation begins. Recognizing the identity of the Antichrist warns us that the Tribulation on Earth is about to begin. It also warns believers that they are about to meet their Lord and savior.
Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. The Bible tells us that he will invade Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria, destroy Damascus, lead an invasion into northern Israel, invade Egypt by many ships and much more. Erdogan has already promised to do all of these things. It is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed (Rom 13:11) .

For the fist time Turkish troops are fighting directly against the Syrian Army!
For the fist time Turkish troops are fighting directly against the Syrian Army!
We are about to find out who is correct regarding Daniel chapter 8
By Craig C. White
Some significant things have happened in Syria this week. On Monday Turkish President Erdogan answered a question that nobody was asking. He said that Turkey has no plan to attack Syria while the Turkish Army is attacking the Kurds in Afrin. Of course Afrin is in Syria so that is a weird statement. I think that Erdogan’s remark tells us two things. First, he believes that northern Syria belongs to Turkey. Second, Turkey plans to attack other regions of Syria even as they are busy attacking northern Syria.
On Monday another large Turkish military convoy entered Syria from the Turkish border. This time the convoy headed for Idlib and not Afrin. My suspicions were confirmed on Tuesday when they began fighting directly against Syrian forces south of Aleppo. It turns out that Turkey had very definite plans to attack Syria elsewhere. This is the first time that the Turkish Army has directly fought against the Syrian Army. Iran is allied with Syrian President Assad and is already urging Turkey to stop their offensives in Syria. All this in one week!
Meanwhile in Damascus rebel groups began shelling the Old Damascus neighborhood which houses the Syrian capital. Fighting in Damascus has increased lately. A couple of weeks ago most rebel groups in Syria united under Turkish control. They call themselves the “National Army”. So it is probable that Turkey is directly supporting the rebel groups that are now shelling Damascus. Please note that most of these rebel groups are not Syrian but are for the most part foreign Sunni Muslim Al-Qaeda jihadists.
Jeremiah 49:23-27 describes the Turkish Army as they attack Hamah and Tell Rifaat in northwestern Syria and then destroy Damascus.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
The next verse identifies the Old Damascus neighborhood. The capital of Syria will be destroyed.
Jeremiah 49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
Turkish President Erdogan admitted that the sole reason why the Turkish Army has entered Syria is to remove Syria President Assad from power in Damascus.
Remember that I told you that Iran is objecting to the Turkish offensives in Syria? Well here is something worth considering. Some Bible teachers think that Turkey will attack Iran before the Antichrist rises. Some Bible teachers think that all of Daniel chapter 8 will happen during the end time. I don’t think so but we are all about to find out.
Daniel chapter 8 outlines the rise of the Media-Persian Empire as well as the Grecian Empire. So all of Daniel chapter 8 has already been fulfilled. However like many Bible prophesies, history often repeats itself. I don’t think that all of Daniel chapter 8 will be repeated but it is obvious that the references to the Grecian governor Antiochus Epiphanies in Daniel chapter 8 are also references to end time Antichrist. The New Testament tells us that the Antichrist will do many of the same things that Antiochus Epiphanies did long ago. The Antichrist will defile the newly built temple in Jerusalem (Dan 8:12-13, Mat 24:15). The Antichrist will exalt himself above the God of Israel (Dan 8:11, 2Th 2:4). The Antichrist will be empowered by Satan (Dan 8:23-25, 2Th 2:9-10). So we are very certain that the at least some of the references to Antiochus Epiphanies in Daniel chapter 8 do also apply to the end time Antichrist.
But what about the rest of Daniel chapter 8? Will the Grecian Empire again attack the Persian Empire? Bible prophecy teacher Joel Richardson says yes, sort of. Joel equates the Grecian Empire of long ago to Turkey today. Richardson says that the name Yavan or Javan that is translated as Grecia in Dan 8:21 can refer to Greece and also to Turkey. I want to say that it is pretty clear that Grecia or Yavan refers to Greece in Daniel chapter 8 and in world history. Nevertheless Yavan is typically located just to the west of Turkey in the Greek Isles so Yavan isn’t too far away from far western Turkey.
Joel Richardson points to the following verse in order to conclude that all of Daniel chapter 8 has end time application. Daniel’s vision is being interpreted by the angel Gabriel beginning at Daniel 8:19.
Dan 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
Gabriel then quickly identifies the Media-Persian Empire as well as the Grecian Empire but doesn’t describe any of their actions. The angel Gabriel does detail the actions of the end time Antichrist through the same actions of Antiochus Epiphanies. So I would expect that only the details that are explained by Gabriel and that are also reiterated in the New Testament will be repeated during the end time. That means that I don’t think that Turkey will attack Iran at this time. But they might.
Let me say that I like Joel Richardson a lot. He is one of our very best Bible prophecy teachers. His view on Daniel chapter 8 is respectable.
Joel Richardson says that Turkey will attack Iran and overthrow the Iranian government. That is feasible since Turkey and Iran are now at odds over Syria. However, that scenario is not reiterated elsewhere in the Bible, especially not in the New Testament. So I don’t expect Turkey to attack Iran at this time.
Here is a side note: Joel Richardson concludes that since Greece first had a great king in Alexander the great; but that his empire was broken up and another king rose up (namely Antiochus Epiphanies), that another king will rise out of Turkey to become the Antichrist. I disagree. All of Daniel chapter 8 does not apply to the end time. There is nothing to prevent us from Identifying Turkish President Erdogan as the Antichrist.
If all of Daniel chapter 8 applies to end time events then we should expect Turkey to attack Iran now. If Turkey does not attack Iran now then that would open Joel Richardson’s understanding that Turkish President Erdogan is the Antichrist. We don’t need to wait for another king to arise out of Turkey. We are about to find out who is correct regarding Daniel chapter 8.

Residue of a Remnant
Residue of a Remnant
Zechariah 14:2
By Craig C. White
The English Bible uses the word “remnant”. A remnant most interestingly refers to a small part that is left of the whole nation of Israel after God judges them.
One Hebrew word for “remnant” is:
sheh-ay-reeth’
a remainder or residual (surviving, final) portion: – that had escaped, be left, posterity, remain (-der), remnant, residue, rest. Here is the word “remnant” used in a verse.
2Ch 30:6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
In the verse above the Kings of Assyria invaded Israel and carried away most of the Jews as captives. They were taken to what we know as northern Iraq today. So the King of Israel sent letters to the remaining Jews in Israel saying “Turn to God”! The remnant are those Jews who were left to rebuild the nation of Israel after God judged them by the hands of the Kings of Assyria.
There is an even more interesting word used in the English bible, “Residue”! Residue can mean an even smaller group of people!
yeh’-ther
Properly an overhanging, that is, (by implication) an excess, superiority, remainder; also a small rope (as hanging free): – + abundant, cord, exceeding, excellency (-ent), what they leave, that hath left, plentifully, remnant, residue, rest, string, with.Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
In the verse above “residue” refers to the few inhabitants of Jerusalem who do not flee but stay behind in the city and are hunkered on Mt. Zion until the end of the Tribulation.
Here are the two words residue and remnant used together in the same verse.
Zep 2:9 Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
In the verse above “the residue of my people” are the people of Judea who have fled into the Jordanian wilderness during the Tribulation. When Jesus returns they will plunder Jordan.
Also in the verse above “the remnant of my people” includes every Jew who has survived the Tribulation!
The residue is only part of the remnant.
Several Hebrew words are translated as “remnant” and “residue”. Sometimes the English word for remnant and residue are the same Hebrew word.
Very interesting to read and hard to stop. – Alexandria
